BUYER BEWARE!!! Back in Aug. 2020, my 1957 Chevy Bel Air was towed to Amsler's due to damage caused to the bumpers and tailfins by leakage/brake failure that occurred while taking the vehicle out of my parents' garage. My father & I had immediately contacted our classic car insurance, Hagerty, which did issue a check to Amsler's to pay for the repairs. To this date, the repairs have still not been finished by Amsler's, despite multiple (in-person) follow-up attempts every several months ever since, but each time my parents & I have been given a completion date, the owner Harry then gives us a different date come that time and repeatedly uses the excuse that he is short-staffed or that there is a supply issue with parts. I last went to his shop June 2, to bring him the latest insurance cards/policy I had just received and ask for an update, since he had last informed me it would be completed by this month, and he then informed me it would be completed by "the end of the year," but would not provide a specific date, nor put it in writing upon my request. I had also asked to see the vehicle to ensure it was still at his shop, and he informed me he could not take me into the actual body shop due to safety reasons, but pointed to a vehicle with a cover over it sitting in a corner though the window of the door to the body shop and said that was my vehicle. Because I could not physically see the vehicle, there is no way for me to be certain that he still actually has it in his possession, and to make matters even more frustrating, when I contacted Hagerty about this issue, I was told they could do nothing about it, despite the fact that the shop took the insurance money but has still not finished the job, which to me dictates insurance fraud. I filed a complaint with BBB, but they just closed it due to not receiving a response from the business, so I will probably have no choice but to resort to taking legal action next, as I still do not have my car back to this date

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. This was the best tow truck experience I ve ever had. Will was more than amazing. He got to my car well before the estimated arrival time, had my car up on the flat bed and ready to go in less than 5 minutes. I opted through triple A to ride with him to my desired destination and I was honestly not looking forward to driving in a car with a stranger but he made me feel comfortable and we talked about cars and trucks the whole way to my desired destination. I hope whoever his boss is sees this because he deserves some brownie points for being such a great employee, especially on his last job of the day.

Do not use them ever!! They are inexperienced and cowards. I had to use them through AAA for a tow. They knew the type of car I had. Instead of them saying or knowing that they didn t have the proper tow equipment, they used the wrong type of tow truck for my car and damaged the whole front bumper of my vehicle that just got repaired. When I spoke with management they would not take responsibility and said the damage did not occur when there were witnesses and an entire body shop observed what their driver did. After the one conversation with management I never heard from them again after calling them several times for remediation. Other measures will have to be taken when all of this could have been resolved and handled an easier way. Poor customer service. What s your insurance policy for when your staff are incompetent?

Amsler Auto should be avoided at all costs. I took my car there for hail damage and it was a nightmare every step of the way. The owner has no sense of customer service or, quite frankly, decency. He speaks to you as if you re wasting his time and as if he s the one doing you a favor. Originally he told me it would take a week to repair. After one full week I come to find out he didn t even start to work on my car. He simply sent another supplement into my insurance to triple his original quote. I waited two full weeks for him to repair about a dozen tiny hail dents on my hood and roof. This man is a miserable con artist. Take your vehicle ANYWHERE else.Service: Body & Trim

Definitely recommend. I came in for estimate for two minor repairs .. they scheduled me for next day and got it done before 2pm. Great communication and very nice people. I don t do reviews but these people deserve to be recognizedService: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

Overall satisfied with the work and the pricing. not so much AAA and the time it took to get assistance and a tow . I had to get a new alternator , they were able to complete it in a day. The labor prices are very reasonable. The part seemed to be a bit expensive. overall a good experience . I would recommend them.

My daughter took her car here for repair from hitting guide rails and a deer. Not necessarily in that order. She was struggling to find a ride... They provided her a ride home. Respectful, considerate. They went out today their way a couple times with her situation. And then gave us the most awesome day planned :) it's our favorite thing now. We'll definitely go back there if needed.

Apparently if you do not have AAA you are at the bottom of their list which would be fine if they told you. Called around 9:30 am on a Monday and was told a driver would call me back in a few minutes which he did. The driver explained they would not be there before 12:00 pm which was fine as I was not stranded. Finally at 10:00 pm, twelve hours later, I called to find out where my tow was but she was just the answering service. I asked for them to pick it up in the morning and she asked "do you have AAA?". Again I told her no State Farm. Tuesday, the following day up early waiting for a call. Totally unimpressed at this point, almost 24 hours later, I called another towing service that was there in less than 10 minutes. It is now 11:30 am as I write this review and still not so much as a phone call. I used them a little over two years ago. They came out to the middle of nowhere very late at night. I was quite impressed but I had AAA back then.

Amsler Automotive Inc. should be kicked off of their AAA service privileges. Every single one of their bad reviews has to do with AAA and how they refuse service or don't show up.I just waited 6 hours for a tow from them to tell me they wouldn't tow it.Why did they tell me no? BECAUSE THEY ARE BAD AT MATH.They kept telling me that my granddads Ford f250 with a 600lb dump bed on it was too heavy. They sent a truck out and saw it, then said they were sending out another truck. 2 hours later they get there and say its too heavy for even the big truck and their boss just called them and told them to deny the call. I ask for the bosses number and the dude gives me a number. I go to call it and he informed me it's his phone because he is not going to give me his bosses info.I call AAA to tell them what's going on and they just tell me they basically can't help me. I get a voicemail back from a manager explaining that the tow truck driver told them that my truck weighs 8 TON. This truck weighs 4k plus the bed we'll call it 5k.If you don't know what a ton is and it has to do with your job. Get a new job or pick up a Wikipedia.

To everyone on the whole CREW my family and I want to thank you for an amazing job ! We had just came back from vacation the before we dropped ore Van off and I felt gilt for nit cleaning it before hand . And much of my surprise , on pick it was CLEARED and WASHED ! Can't say enough!
