I came here with a flat and my tire off the rim on my lunch break and the guys here mounted my tire back on and had me on my way in 30 minutes. Thank you all so much for your help. I really appreciate it.

I went to Pennsylvania Tire & Auto, located at their Lansdowne location at 2319 Marshall Rd for a inspection and oil change on 8/14/21 from 8-3. Was told I had a bad wheel hub bearing front drivers side & was charged $395 to repair it. I have been back to this shop 3 times since they initially worked on my car. I called & reported my brakes were acting and sounding weird & expressed concern on 8/16/21. On 8/17/21, I left work early, the car wasn t making the noise it had been & when assessed, the problem was not identified. After leaving my ABS light came on. On 8/19/21, I left my car at the shop from 12-4. They were too busy to fix it on this day & stated that the wheel hub bearing they installed was defective & would be fixed at no charge. on 8/28/21 I left my car there from 8 till 3. When I picked up, I heard different noises then the one before On 9/1 another mechanic showed me that there was no bolt in the caliper housing another one was loose. This was the located on the same wheel they worked on just four days prior. Two other mechanics found no identifiable damage to they old wheel hub bearing they initially replaced. When I asked for a refund, they only offered to cover the new bolts installed. I rarely complain but this was too much. What about the wear and tear put on my car not to mention, the loss of money, time and my life being put at risk! Incompetent at best, shady at worst! BewareService: Oil change

So unhappy with this service. The workers are extremely rude and arrogant. I was offered an oil change appointment 2 months later, I previously had them before a month earlier and they got me in right away. The manager Robert said it s something new. I don t think a professional company should be ran this way. I don t know anyone who would wait 2 months for a service that takes about 35 mins. If you want respect and fast service forget going to this establishment. Every time I ve gone to this place I ve seen the staff treat their customers poorly.Service: Oil change

I purchased a Groupon for the Marshall Road location. I called and made an appointment for an oil change as it stated appointments are recommended. When I arrived at 8am to drop my car off, I was told by the receptionist, then the manager, Robert that they don't accept groupons at that location. However, their location is listed on groupon as a participating location. I specifically choose that location because it is close to where I live. I understand miscommunication in business, what I don't understand is HORRIBLE customer service. Robert was extremely unprofessional and even joked around when the receptionist, called him over for assistance as he was walking over to the window he jokingly stated, he didn't want to assist because he didn't like light skin people. I am upset because I wasted my time stopping there on my way to work. Robert or Marion offered so much as an apology for the inconvenience. If you can, please go elsewhere. There are auto businesses on almost every corner, I am certain there are places that will treat customers with more respect.

Awesome quick service. Got an oil change and inspection special on Groupon for an amazing deal and was so happy with pa tire and auto. Robert was pleasant and honest and I couldn t have asked for a better experience. I will be back.

Do not purchase the Groupon it s a trap. He said if I use my Groupon they have no availability until February (Groupon expires January) for an oil change and if I don t use it they are available right away..

Trustworthy and knowledgeable mechanics. The team here is so great at thoroughly examining your vehicle and letting you know what's going on and what things you should plan to repair soon. Always my first call with any car related issues!

We asked to have a part installed in our car. They did it and it worked great for a few days, then started having issues. We took it back to them and they told us this is why they never install owner supplied equipment, and suggested we bring it in for diagnosis instead of "Googling" it next time! They did not charge us for this diagnosis, and instead of giving us the run around, told us to go to the dealer this time and get OEM parts.Note***: If they diagnose a problem and you get the repair with them, there is no charge for the diagnosis!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Updated review: 8/20/20Had to come on here with an update because these guys took me in right away when my car window motor broke. They also allowed me to pay them over the phone because they saw that I had been a frequent visitor over the last couple of months, and I didn't have my credit card with me when my window broke. They definitely didn't have to do that but did--what a customer courtesy! They also gave me a water while waiting because I had just come from a long run. What more can you ask for! This is one of a handful of small businesses in the area that I actually feel comfortable at. I drive out of my way to get gas here to support them. You should come and see for yourself and hopefully do the same.These guys picked up where Nick and Tom left off courteous, honest, and hardworking. I have already been to them numerous times for gas, oil changes, inspections, repairs all of which were handled with care. Chris, with whom I have spoken on a number of occasions, is professional and positive, something that makes the experience of going here more pleasant. I feel strongly about people who are working hard to establish a new business in the community, and these guys are doing just that! Highly recommend!Service: Electrical repair

This afternoon I took my car to Pennsylvania Tire and Auto on Marshall Road to have my tire plugged from what I expected to be a nail. I called ahead of time and spoke with Chris because I would be leaving on a quick lunch break. Chris was professional and helpful on the phone. When I arrived I was greeted by a very happy gentleman behind the counter who took my car right away to be serviced. After waiting a few minutes he took me to the back and showed me exactly what was wrong (nails of course!) but also showed me some other potential issues with my tires. My car was serviced in under 20 minutes and everyone was so kind and welcoming. When my car was finished and I went to pay, my invoice was zero. Not only was the staff professional and friendly they took time to engage and knew I worked at the local hospital and thanked me for doing my part. Today they were the real hero s. It s not about the monetary part, but the compassion, gratitude, and professionalism they exhibited today. 5 stars for sure! Thank you so much!

Very pleased with my service! I got an inspection and some work done. The Manager as well as the staff are very informative; and do a great job with explaining what needs to be done to your car. If you're a female this place is for you! They won't take advantage of you! My cars runs great!

Larry is awesome! Customer service at this place is insane! You rarely find the good ole service with a genuine smile and laughter. I was waiting for my truck to get done and had the greatest time. They did a great job on my truck as well. This was my first time here and they just inherited a new customer for all of my vehicles! Highly recommended!Services: Wheel alignment, Oil change

My first experience with this shop was 1/4/21 for a oil change which I came across a discount coupon on Groupon. Once I arrived there and entered the shop I was greeted by Mr. Rob & Mr. Rich their customer service and professionalism was awesome from beginning to end!!! . They made me feel very comfortable so much so that I was able to discuss needing tires and just like that Mr. Rob said that he could make that happen, and he didn't beat over the head with the price of the tires. I went back on 1/8/21 and got 4 brand new tires and my inspection done and was taken care of by the technician Matt who also had awesome customer service.! I went here for to get my flat tire replaced. While replacing the tire they broke the tire pressure monitor sensor, didn't say anything about it. Brought it back and they tried to accuse me by saying there was no sensor in it to begin with. Luckily my car emails me when the pressure is low so I had proof there was one in there. Then they tried replacing it after I confronted them which then caused the entire system to go down. They refused to pay for a new sensor. I had to shell out an additional $175 dollars to fix THEIR mistake. Not to metion on the phone the MANAGER got irate and hung up on me! How are you upset when it's your fault? Make it make sense! Will never give business to them again! DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR TIRES THEY ARE CARELESS AND IT WILL END UP COSTING YOU MORE MONEY DOWN THE LINE!!!!Service: Tires

I had a Groupon for service, I came in for an oil change. I made my appointment and was greeted so politely by Larry. He was pleasant and welcoming.My oil was done, tires rotated and I was given an overview of things that I needed to get worked on. No hard sell. Larry was patient with my questions and gave me suggestions. I will definitely be going back. I ve already have told my friends and family about PA Auto and Tires.Service: Oil change

This place is great! I found them on GroupOn and they were the highest rated mechanics within 10 miles so I took the trek over. Larry and Iggy were very helpful and had me in and out relatively quick. This place is run the right way. I had my oil change, tire rotation and state inspection done collectively for cheaper than anywhere else I could find. Just know this place isn t here to rip you off. They understand a proper business builds lifelong customers and aren t after the quick buck.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment, Oil change

I had a great experience at this place. I showed up with two flat tires and one with a nail in it. This is my first car and I had never been to a mechanic before so I didn't know what to do. They were extremely kind to me. They took my car in, repaired my tires, and showed me the only thing that was wrong with the car, which were the dry rot in two of them. And they did it for FREE! Anyway, I appreciate them (I think Chris was his name) for actually helping me and not taking advantage of me. They were recommended to me by a friend, so I am recommending them to everyone... I will be returning!!!!

The gentleman who runs the place is AMAZING. To say he was pleasant and courteous is an understatement. I had to get some holes in my tire plugged and not only did I receive great service but he also recommended some other repairs I needed without being pushy. While I waited I watched as her graciously pumped gas for elderly patrons and greeted customers by name. I won't go anywhere else for my cars. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF you are in the Delaware County area.

UPDATE: I took it to a different shop and it cost me **$160** for repairs to pass!!! I m so glad I didn t cough up the outrageous $1400 at Tire & Auto. I knew my car didn t need that insane amount of repairs. They were trying to rip me off, maybe taking advantage of me being a woman and not having automotive know-how, regardless of me being a new customer.I took my car to get inspected here because they have cheaper state & emission inspection rates compared to many other shops in the area. Now I know this is because they will completely gouge you on repairs to pass that may or may not be needed. I ve had many used cars in worse condition than my current and have never been billed anywhere near **$1400** to pass inspection. I also did the math on the itemized bill they gave me, and the parts, labor and other costs add up to be less than what they have printed. They re assuming the customer won t check. When I told him I would get a second opinion on the phone after listing off everything that was wrong and ending with the astronomical bill, he was rude to me when I arrived at the shop to pick up my car. I regret not taking my car somewhere else.

I brought my car to PA Tire & Auto for a brake light fix - not only did Robert and Bram complete the repair on the spot, they were kind, courteous, good-humored...and promptly wished me a wonderful day once finished. I was confused - shouldn't I pay inside? They smiled at me, still walking away. Was I being pranked? No...once inside...Robert would not allow me to pay for the repair. He and Bram lost time and money on my car's fix, and left me not with a receipt, but surprise and an act of pure kindness.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I worked with Larry F. the senior advisor to schedule my car for routine maintenance. He could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Lead Tech Tony C worked on my car. This place is the real deal. It is the local auto place we all want, and talk about, but cannot seem to find. They have the perfect combination of the highest standards, aligned with what seems to be a genuine interest in great customer service. Awesome visit! I thought I was in Cheers! The owner made me feel like he s known me for eons. The front desk young man (I didn t get his name ) was respectful and sweet. I have had nothing but a smooth and enjoyable experience so far. Chris and Larry have been especially helpful and knowledgeable about my car, which is what I ve really needed after a few really bad experiences and $$$ wasted. Larry even came out to my house when my car would not start and fixed the issue for me until my next appointment so I could drive. Services: Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment

I almost don t want to share how impressed I was with Robert and in the new ownership of this autobody shop for fear this place will become too popular! I don t know how long it s been since Riggins retired or sold but I was in search of a new place after DiMascio s closed. I thought my quote was fair and I was given good advice. Extremely impressed and I will be back!

These guys are the best. I've continued going here since Nick and Tom(the grumpy brother) decided to retire. Chris and Robert came right in and joined the neighborhood immediately. They are both knowledgeable, personable and explain everything without trying to bury you in BS. I have done most of my own work for 40 years, so I know whats going on. I am so happy that Robert and Chris decided to continue a business in our neighborhood. Thanks for the great service.

I came in and was treated to next level service. Larry at the counter is a true god send. He was extremely personable made me feel comfortable and welcomed. He offered me snacks and refreshments as well as phenamonal conversation. The work to my vechile was great and proffesionally done in a quick manner. Great business! Took my car there for state inspection. A few minor repairs needed to be addressed. Tony discovered a broken stud, possibly due to a different business replacing my tires. Larry was very personable, kind, and seems to enjoy meeting new people. First time going to this shop after I was referred by a friend. My car was making a noise every time I went over a bump and Chris was super helpful in diagnosing the problem and showing me exactly what was causing the noise. Turns out, I was missing a bolt on my break and it was hitting the rear body of my car. Chris was able to get the part and install it on my car the same day. I am really happy I came here after two failed diagnosis of what was causing the noise. The other staff were very helpful as well. Great experience.
