TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE DO NOT GO TO THIS MAN. He will scan you for a service fee for a diagnosis for your car and won t follow up on the appointment to get things fixed. WASTE OF MONEY. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING BLACK BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will say James and Chris def know cars and can fix accordingly. HOWEVER they do not respect your time at all. On two occasions I was given a time, took off from work as I really needed the work done and was given many reasons for delay. And last go round, did not show, and needed to reach out. He truck "Broke Down" The mechanic SMH. I really like the both of them and they do good work. BUT, right now I rather spend the extra money to take it to a shop. They cost me hundreds of $$$ having to adjust my work schedule. I hope they take heed, because this is service of great need and they are squandering an opportunity to blow up.

My breaks was so bad parking break wouldn t release Chris came out fixed that came back to replace brakes after I had to order part from dealer now I m up and running great service reasonable prices.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

This service got me/my son out of a jam. I worked with Sam M. My son s car wouldn t start and he was in a parking garage. He lives in Philly for college and I live 2 hours away. I explained the issue and he said it was $120 to come and check it out and tell us the problem. By this time we knew it wasn t just needing a jump. We assumed the starter (which is was) it was just after 1 and the guy said he could get there by 4. I told him I would give him extra if he could make it by 230 given the garage fees were racking up. He made it. He got it to start within 10 min and he said he could drive it to college and he would come fix it later. He sent me a price which I checked with my home mechanic and it was very fair. He came at 6 and was done by 715. The car was running and I venmoed him the money. I used cash app earlier. This was huge for me considering my son didn t have any cash on him. They don t take credit cards directly so be aware of that. Overall very helpful and friendly. Will use again if the need ever arises.

I have used this company several times and each time they have came through and fixed my problem. But it can be a hit or miss some days they are reliable and come straight out other days I can wait for hours.I had a flat and they came out and looked at my tire put air in it and told me I would need a new one. He came back the next morning and brought me a new tire and put it on. On another day I was told they would come in the morning g but I waited all day.If you are looking for a mobile mechanic I would recommend them. Just know some times they come right away and some times you will wait forever.

I was looking into purchasing a new vehicle in the Philly area. It s costly so I wanted to make sure that everything was all good before purchasing. I call these guys up and I m telling you within 30 minutes they had a really cool and knowledgeable mechanic on the scene. He walked me through everything that was good(most of the things in our case ) and also what there was to look out for and what he was checking for. After surveying the vehicle, He took it for a spin and told me the status of the engine, transmission, and brakes. He even told me what he was looking for so I knew what to look for the next time I look at a vehicle in the future. I m very happy with the service and would definitely use again

James Williams is a Con-man. His Mobile Mechanic is a scam! I contacted him with a battery problem. I had been told that my battery kept draining due to an electrical problem. James came with his little diagnostic tool ($40 charge) & convinced me that there was no electrical problem, just a bad battery. Two weeks after he put in a new $165 battery (5 year warranty)my car was completely dead! I called him & he promised to call back in 20 minutes. After I made several calls & texts, he promised to come the next day. I spent the day calling & texting him. No response! Save your money & contact a real professional mechanic! James Williams just uses the name Mobile Mechanic. He is a mobile crook! Be Advised!NOTE:I had a REAL mechanic check my car & it now runs fine. Due to illness I still rarely drive. That has had no effect on my battery!STAY AWAY FROM THIS CROOK! His response to my review was nothing but lies! I stand by what I said.I Stand by my Review! Do not trust this con-man!

I was in need of someone that can come take a look at my Jeep I was having trouble with my brakes and the brake light kept coming on. After I had already put 4 bottles of brake fluid in it & the light still wouldn t go off. So I decided to google travel mechanics near me, And these guys was the first put up, I gave them a call nobody was able to see me that night or morning but by the even my Jeep was fixed and back on road. I m very satisfied with the work and price. Thank You so much Chris you did a great job. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get a job for a great price. Btw black owned business definitely have my support.

Scheduled a 1:00PM appointment with them and went to the auto parts store to pick up parts I was told they would need. I've waited all day and spent money just to be no showed. Two thumbs down find a reliable mechanic.Update: Guy calls me 7hours later and upcharged from 90 to 250 to change spark plugs. Don't waste your time

Really awesome service, especially in a pinch. Our driver side window was stuck and wouldn't go up. Was able to call, Chris and his dad came out within about an hour and a half. He was able to put the window back up the night before it rained all day the next day!Chris even took the time to run a computer diagnostic test with his tablet/system and was able to let us know of a tire sensor malfunction that we thought was a slow leak in one of the tires!Thanks again!

The service was great the response time was fast and friendly the mechanic was knowledgeable and helpful and did a speedy job. Aug 2017- I Called got quote, but had to prepay in order for James to create an invoice to come out toto service my vehicle.After arriving late with a passenger he proceeded. After a few hours he told me he was finished when he actually did not complete all the work I prepaid for. In addition to causing more damage to my driver side seat controls, which he also did not fix. I did forget about it for a min, but yes I am still waiting for my refund dam near an year later Even after tracking him down about 2/3weeks ago with proof my refund was not processed back to him/his business. So today July 30 2018 I will attempt to get my refund. AGAIN!

OMG! Great service and they never got tired of my billions of questions. The customer service is great! I needed to a new starter and it was replaced in minutes. I also got a diagnosis testing! Definitely great rates and they answer/work quickly and efficiently. They are definitely my go to from here on out!

James Serviced my vehicle before so I wanted to continue to show support. James was supposed to do my brakes and rotors on 7/23 @ 5pm. I purchased my parts and he never showed up nor texted me to say he couldn't make it. I contacted him on 7/24 and he apologized and stated he was down because of the storm ( the storm was Monday 7/22 ) and said he will service my car between 530 pm and 630 pm. STILL a NO Show. I texted him at 7 he read the message but never responded back lol. Never Again will I Support. Communication is Key when it comes to your customers!**UPDATE 8/03: I get it things happen. What Im saying to you is communicate with your customers if you cant show up after you have scheduled with them.

Waited around all day for this guy. Zero professionalism. Excuse after excuse, the man clearly doesn t care. He stated he didn t have basic equipment for the job either. After 6 hours I had to cancel his services. Do yourself a favor and read some of these reviews. He will waste your entire day. Unprepared, unprofessional and certainly a case of poor time management. Don t use him.

This CAN'T be a real business! I was talking to someone last night(1/5/21, 9pm) and while we were in the MIDDLE of a convo, he told me to hold on and he had to check the price, then NEVER RESPONDED again until THE NEXT NIGHT with "80 bucks". IF YOU HAVE AN EMERGENCY or need consistency in convo, THIS COMPANY IS NOT FOR YOU! They are NOT courteous OR empathetic! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! This might not even be a legit business! UNRELIABLE!! JOKE!!! They're NOT COMING TO YOU unless it's a SLOW DAY, and they will leave you hanging!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!

We were in need of a mobile service for the car and this was our first time doing this and we contacted a different company and they never showed up so I contacted this company and they came out right away after contacting them about the issue. Chris was very friendly, nice, on time, and good person. I would definitely recommend this company.

I was looking for a mechanic that would come to me. On Google but the search engine was filled with people who didn t. I went on Craigslist found Mobile Mechanic and I got a response back in a meaningful amount of time. They came out the next day and even worked with me on the payment. Frank replaced my wheel studs on my passenger side and after he was done, Frank even rode around in the car with me to make sure everything was cool. It felt smoother than before.

These people are very unprofessional!!! I spoke to them at 11 am and they didn't come until 1pm. When the mechanic arrived he said the price is $90 and he would be back with an hour because he had a brake job to do. I had to call them again at 3:45 only to be told that he's caught up and would call me when he's enroute. 5:12pm still didn't call I texted him he gives me his partner number and the partner tells me it's $150. Bottom line do not deal with these people they have no professionalism nor do they honor their word and time frames. And needless to say I didn't get my car worked on by them at all. Such a waste of time

In capital letters...I WOULDN'T ADVISE NO ONE TO USE THIS SERVICES...Ima make it short for EVERYONE!My van got stuck out Philly way, and i live in Harrisburg.The guy was supposed to come out Sunday around noon like he said. He BS me and gave me stories up to 9pm. Then Contact me Monday morning and said he was gonna come and STILL NEVER came.HORRIBLE SERVICE and I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. RSBE AWARE & USE ANOTHER SERVICE

awesome job John! and thank you James for recommending me to John. Well, this is how it all played out. I needed an Alternator installed. I called James @ Mobile Mechanic (I used the service last year). James wasn't available so he gave me John's number (his partner). John came over, he got all the slick tools. less than 30mins my alternator was installed, he also fixed my battery terminal, changed one corroded terminal free of charge. Awesome job guys. If you have your part, sit tight and call Mobile Mechanic. I will.

Quick response time and a fair price considering the amount of money ot cost for a tow. i had service mechanic Max, nice guy very honest and hard working. If i had two critiques there should be receipt given at the end of all transactions, the customer should not have to request one . That covers both the mechanic and the customer. Also professionalism is of the upmost importance, never should the mechanic be touching a car with greasy dirty hands and limit help to one other person. Having too many people touching or around a car can cause potential issues.On a whole i am glad i reached out to this company to have my tire plugged.

so unprofessional omg i made an appointment for today my brakes to be fix and the time was between 12-1 so they called to tell me that the tech was running last that they would text me the number of the text and call me in a half hour. then i got another call from and another company quickfixhere and they came out to fix the problem right away. quickfix here is so professional. if you honestly didnt want to do the just you could of just been honest to tell me. instead of having me wait almost all day. you also dont know how to text a customer. very uncomfortable and unprofessional. no company asks for the money upfront. a customer pays after the job is done. thank you for not coming because i now have a better company to work on my car

My car broke down in the middle of the road at new years day in Central Philadelphia. They got to me in one hour, have the car fixed and back on the road in another hour. Impressive and inpecable service with a very reasonable price.

Got a call back 5 hours late.I was quoted $500 to $650 (labor ONLY) to change a sensor on my VW Beetle.(Based on a random website)1/2-1 Hour Job. Req flat head screwdriver, 10mm socket wrench and a car jack. Easy to access.I DON'T RECOMMEND!
