I have never written a review in my life. But I write one today because I am so moved by the kindness of Colket Automotive. My car refused to start even though my lights would come on, so I never suspected that it would be a battery issue, rather something more serious. I called Colket for help and she was incredibly friendly on the phone, attentively listening to my concerns. They agreed to come tow my vehicle, and came equipped with a tow truck.One look at my car and he said it just needs a jump start. He helped me jump start my car, it started right away.I tried to give him some money for the troubles of hauling their tow truck out here and giving me a jump, but he is owner and He wouldn t take it.He is so professional, kind, and honest people; I would recommend them to any of my friends and family.And of course will utilize their services for anything I need for my vehicles in the future.Service: Auto battery maintenance

Needed a safety inspection done for my car within a few days and Colket automotive was able to fit me in their schedule within 2 days. Inspection was less than 30 minutes. Staff was friendly. Would visit again in the future.

Hello from rochester ny! I haven t been here before but I read about this shop in magazine called shop owner . Sounds like they re true professionals and care about what they do. I love that. Keep up the great work! :)

I cannot express enough my thanks to Ross and his crew. I had scheduled my SUV for inspection & they alerted me to a potential issue-needless to say I ll have them take care of that! In the meantime my backup car ran into a small issue of which they were able to fix the following day. I recommend Colket for all of your car care needs, it s tough to find reliable services and ones that are fairly priced. Do give them a call :)

It was quite a pleasant experience to find such a knowledgeable front office team at colket. They answered all my crazy questions patiently. I happily recommend this shop for anyone looking to get work done. A special shout out goes to the two ladies that run the front office, you girls are awesome.

I had my trailer here for new bearings. We had a minor issue which I understand things can happen. The owner personal reached out to me and made it right. I would definitely recommend them as they stand behind there work.

As always the service was exceptional. 6 out of 5I'm pretty sure Mr. Colket knows how I feel about his shop. But, I have been reminded that others should know how I feel, so here goes:I made this appointment at the last moment, and as always the service was exceptional compared to others, but the standard for these guys. The attitude of everybody in this shop is always positive & uplifting. They always strive to accommodate, they all want to help. They stand behind their workmanship. in short I have been going to these guys for years & I've never been disappointed. But what I am most impressed with is their HONESTY.Something they never knew until now is that before my job kept me out from under the hood of my cars, I always used to work on my own vehicles from tune-ups to brakes to suspension to engines down to the short block etc. The reason I go to Colket is because of there honesty. They never recommend work or parts unnecessarily, but they will discuss things that may become a problem in the future.In short I highly recommend Colket because it is a GOOD VALUE, You get a big bang for the buck.Thanks Ross.

Ross Colket is hands down THE BEST mechanic I have ever used! He provides professional, fair, and honest service. I had some major vehicle issues that were not resolved or even able to be duplicated by 3 dealerships and 2 other mechanics over the course of a year! Ross not only researched the issue and called multiple mechanics and the most recent dealership to try to get them to ensure the issue was covered under warranty, he went well above and beyond to learn how best to duplicate the issue and have it fixed properly. On top of that he made sure that, since the extended warranty would not cover this covered cause , he only charged me the absolute minimum for the job. Believe me I researched the cost of the parts and typical labor, and Ross did right by me no doubt! I wish he had a location where I m loving to because he s the type of mechanic you keep for life! I highly recommend Ross and his team of professionals! My 2017 Dodge Challenger was plagued with electrical issues since purchase that no other mechanic nor dealers could help me resolve. Ross jumped right in to help figure out the origin of the electrical issues and repaired it!! Great technical knowledge Thorough diagnostics BEFORE investing in parts Excellent communication Timely and complete repair...that's why I'll be returning for more business.I've had a long road before finding what I consider real 5 star service. It involves numerous trips to franchise garages and the dealership. Sound familiar? My investments to remedy my Jeep's O2 sensor codes are the source of considerable entertainment at the office. Time to throw in the towel and cut my losses I thought.Still I felt my Jeep was mechanically sound, if it weren't for those sensor codes. So I googled what I was looking for: "automotive technical expert," and Colket Automotive Technical Service came up. I left a message that night of my pathetic case.Ross Colket called me the next morning. We discussed the codes, symptoms, my previous attempts to repair, and my general disbelief that anyone could figure this out. Ross was very professional and told me about his background as an instructor teaching future automotive technicians and his expertise in automotive diagnostics. Ross expressed a high level of confidence that he could evaluate and diagnose the problem relatively quickly. I was convinced that it was worth trying to figure out this problem one more time. After all I like my vehicle and I didn't want a new car payment.Within a day, Ross got back to me with a full explanation of the problem, the tests and results he did, and estimated time and cost of the repair. By the way, this repair took minor parts and time.When I came to pickup my Jeep, Ross took the time to answer my questions in detail. He and I agreed on a followup plan should I experience anymore issues.I wish I had gone to Colket first as I could have saved considerable time, money, and frustration. After 2 years of constantly getting system codes that no one else seemed to be able to resolve, all it took was a few hours of solid diagnostics by someone who has the technical knowledge and is willing to search for the root cause. Colket is getting my automotive business going forward.

Got my AC/ Heat worked on. Prior to drop off it wasn t working well at all and now it feels like a jet plane with how strong the fan is blowing. Very good pricing as well. Two things make Colket Automotive the best repair shop I've ever been to: honesty and expertise. Everyone working there--from the woman working the front desk to the owner and master repairman--possesses extraordinary knowledge about cars.When you bring your car in, the crew performs an in-depth diagnosis of the car. And instead of rushing through an explanation in order to get you to foot the largest bill they can charge, they carefully explain every facet of what ails your car. Then they explain your options. And when your best option involves paying them less money, they tell you.My 2010 Subaru Forester unexpectedly broke down on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Colket Automotive was the closest repair shop, so I chose to be towed there, even though I don't live in Lansdale and knew nothing about their shop. This turned out to be the only good luck I had all day. It was a blessing to work with Colket.

I have been going to Colket for at least 8 years now. Always done on time, reasonable costs of repair, very knowledgeable and friendly staff. I have 2 cars and 3 Harleys, all of which go to Colket !!! Great service and honesty, hard to find in this day and age. Thank you Ross and crew!!

I recently took my car in for service. The check engine light was on and it was over due for the 100k service (timing belt and tune-up). I knew I was overdue and did some shopping around before I committed to Ross and his crew. He explain to me why the check engine light was on and the step-by-step process how he came up with the diagnosis. I did have my car at another shop and the dealership and they were unable to give me a clear-cut answer on why the check engine light was on. I felt that they were just throwing darts at a dartboard. The check engine light has now been off for over two months and after doing the timing belt and tuneup the car runs like it is new again. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the work that was performed and I believe that Ross has an A+ crew working at his shop.

I got my trailer inspected here (new to PA). Super friendly, communicated with me about the progress the entire time, and were very helpful. Given the chance, I'd definitely go back again. Thanks guys!

We are a one car family and needed a repair so on advice from a friend we called Colket in the afternoon. They asked if we could drop the car off and I did after hours that day leaving the key in the night box. We received a call in the afternoon next day to come pick up our car! It s a 1995 Mazda MX-6 and the fix was not cut and dry. We are so greatfull for the care and prompt attention that we were given.

I've been going to Ross for years. He has always been upfront, fair, and provides available options as well as the potential impact. He won me over in his prior location, and it has been great to see his shop expand.

I liked coming here, the guy on the phone was nice. I don't recommended making an appointment online because they couldn't find my appointment. I had to wait an extra day because of it.Hey guys thanks for the follow up. I'll bump you up a star and try online appointment again next time (from the website) and give a call then. No need to work on it now, no worries.

I brought my car in for a few things to be checked out. Not the owner but one of his worker started the digging couldn't find the problem. My car came back with no radio ,navigation etc, now there is more wrong with my car. I made a mistake toNot to demand he returned it the way I brought it in. Never again will I recommend or visit this place . They f*** my car up!

After seeing how they drive customers vehicles I would not bring another one here. It's absolutely ridiculous how they drive them and I understand testing the vehicles but they go to far.
