I used to bring my Subaru Forester and RAV-4 for oil change, tire rotation and other maintenance needs. I always liked the professional atmosphere at the Service Dept with courtesy and trust shown to customers. However, today, when I was there for an oil change for RAV-4, the "Manager" slapped me with a bill for $ 118. When I showed her previous invoice (oil change done last Fall) with charges of $ 84, she was pretty upset. Has the price of synthetic oil gone up by by $ 34 in 6 months? She was so unfriendly and refused to accept 10% off discount for Seniors. Then, why does Reedman Toll even publish such discounts on their website? When I persisted for an answer for the steep increase, she arbitrarily made up a new bill for $98.48 and I was tired of dealing with her and paid the invoice. Here is the problem. When such things happen, the customer loses the trust in your dealership and the lack of courtesy on her part turns the customer away. For example, we have been thinking of trading our 2018 Forester for a newer version at Reedman Toll Subaru but after today's bitter experience at the Service Dept., we will seek another dealer for such trade off.

My wife and I purchased 2 vehicles from Reedman Toll Subaru in the past 6 years. Most recently a 2022 Subaru Ascent. Couldn't be happier with the service and how easy they made everything for us. Photos were taken back in February when we made the purchase.

On 1/26/23 went in to just buy 2qts of oil for my 2020 sti and figured while I'm here at at a " certified subaru dealership" with " certified subaru technicians" why not get my tire done too. I asked them to just put the tire on the rim and not to put it on the car. After sitting down I hear my car start up and stall twice then finally drive away. Got the car back same day after they changed the tire on the car, washed and put my trunk back together (happy about the washing and the cleaning). Next day I notice that my door is damaged while walking up to it. Went back to see the video and have a talk but was told that the camera didn't pick up anything but they would fix it for free... after having my car there from Wednesday afternoon till Saturday to fix the damage to the door. Now none of my electronics work on my driverside door and I was asked to put my car back in till Monday. At this point im going somewhere so theres not another problem and they have my vehicle for another week.

Nice and easy purchase. Gave me a better deal than Fred Beans and Glanzmann. The place is sparkling clean. Staff and the manager were very polite and respectful. I highly recommend Reedman Toll Subaru comparing to the other local Subaru dealerships in the area!!!

Couldn t understand why the man writing up my estimate was shielding it from the Manager as she walked by. He then remarked that he didn t want her to see the discount he was giving me. After a bill for over 2k was written up for an oil change, two light bulbs, a rear gate piston rod ( which he tried to convince me to replace both when only one was broken) and a diagnostic for the check engine light, he charged me to order an emissions filter that has not come in for about 6 weeks now. Got a greasy feeling.

The experience at Reedman Toll Subaru Service is sporadic. When I first purchased my car and started servicing it in 2015, Jerry and Quron in the service department we're a pleasure to work with. Now that I have had it for two years, they usually do not respond to my emails. Additionally, I was under the impression that the $1,100 extended warranty I purchased provided unlimited oil changes. Quron explained to me with an attitude that it did not. $100 for a synthetic oil change and tire rotation seems excessive to me. Won't be coming here again.

Brought Subaru in for regular maintenance. Told that everything was OK and that it would pass inspection. Brought in 2 months later for inspection and told I would need new front brake pads/rotors costing over $600. Surprised. Paid for failed inspection but not brake job. Brought to my personal mechanic who indicated he would replace brake/pads for circa $250 but his inspection indicated replacement not needed. Brought to another inspection station and car passed. without replacement. Beware this shop in reference to inspections and price !!

Jessica P was a pleasure to work with from start to finish! My wife has a disability and Jessica worked with us to find the best vehicle to meet my wife's needs. We ended up with a 2023 Outback and love it! Such a smooth ride, has really cool features, and just the right amount of space in the back. Highly recommend Reedman Toll Subaru

Had a known issue with window not wanting to close. They reset but that didn't resolve issue. Car was out of warranty less than a month when I brought it back for same issue. They wanted to charge me over $425 to fix it. After requesting escalation, I was advised that they would repair as a one time courtesy but will not guarantee their repair. I thought Subaru was built on quality!! Very disappointed! Keep in mind that the US was shut down for close to a year so they really benefited from people not driving. Requested to speak with Manager, still waiting.

I don't think a review can accurately describe how incredible the service department was. My family has one car and of course, an issue that Subaru *needs* to categorize as a recall, rendered the car undriveable. We were so incredibly stressed at the idea of having to pay for the repair (~$500 for parts and another ~$600 for labor) plus a rental car for the week or more that it would take for the part to come in, be installed, and the car issue rectified. We called nearly 4 different mechanics/dealerships for assistance and our stress was increased as everyone was rude, short, unhelpful, unsympathetic, or all of the above. We were ready to just move forward when I called Reedman Toll Subaru on a whim. The sympathy and understanding I received outright from Diana was so appreciated. That would have been enough to make us choose to go with this dealership for this large repair, but when we heard that they'd already serviced a few of the same issues before, that they understood the anxiety, and later, that they were going to get in touch with Subaru to inquire more about things, that just sealed the deal. When we heard back literally the next day that the car was fixed, there was absolutely no charge, and that we could pick it up at our convenience, I thought it was a prank call. I don't understand how an organization could show such care and consideration for people, it seems like an absolute foreign concept when I think about the many interactions I've had over the years for various mechanisms. We would have gladly paid them over anyone else for the parts and labor, just based off of the way we were treated. To hear that their staff proactively chose to address the situation in hopes of benefitting us felt like nothing short of miraculous.I have been singing their praises where ever and whenever I can since we received the car back. I know that not every experience can turn out like ours, but I am just so blown away by the service we received that I can't help but write a glowing review (even though reviews are not typically an action I take). Thank you, thank you, thank you!

ABSOLUTE Worst dealership I have ever received service from.My Subaru's engine seized up on me due to an internal engine problem. At first Reedman toll informed me that the Warranty has covered the repairs however waiting on parts.Months later, they informed me they supposedly pulled data logs from the vehicle and said I drive like an A** and performed lack of maintenance when I provided my oil change records and proven I had the oil changed every 3K Miles. They denied my warranty. Then they had the audacity to charge me for a warranty deductible when the Warranty was denied. They will NOT release the car to me until it is paid. General Manager keeps throwing charges at me and will NOT release the car till it's paid. This is predatory and consumer abuse. I intend to let news outlets aware of this vicious behavior.STAY AWAY!

I have just leased my second Subaru Forester from Reedman Toll Subaru dealership, and I'm so happy that I chose them a second time for my lease.Matt Tingle couldn't have been any nicer, and more helpful in the leasing process. I was tempted to go with the Outback this time ,but ,after test driving it withMatt, I stuck with my third Subaru Forester. Apparently there is a shortage of inventory, as I called other dealerships, and , everyone said that I'd be lucky to get a new lease byAugust or September . My lease was ending in June , so I truly wanted to secure a 2022Forester. I told Matt what Iwanted, and gave him two color choices.Well, Matt Tingle is " the man", because within days, he worked his magic, and calledto say that he had my dreamForester on the lot, and would hold it for me. I even got some credit towards new lease, as my mileage was so low, and also in great condition. All in all , Matt made the leasing processseamlessly stress free . He went above and beyond sales...setting clock, trunk height & pairing phone.BRAVO MATT !!

Went in for state inspection, dropped the car at 8:30 am, explained what needed done. Asked if I was waiting for the car, I live 5 blocks away, so I said no to call when it was done. I called about 2:45 to see if it was done. I was told it not looked at yet and it would be done by days end. They called told me my rear brake pad needed replacing, and that my battery holder needed to be tightened to pass. The cost $75 labor for tightening 30 minutes work time, thought that was much and expressed that. When I asked why, with a 8:30 appointment, did my Subaru not get looked at sooner. I was told I wasn t waiting. This was a very disappointing response, my time is just as important as those who waited. It is why I made an 8:30 appointment.

Literally can't say enough good things about Reedman Toll Subaru! The person that sold me the car was Jessica and she couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, we were so happy with her service we actually are purchasing a second car from her. The unfortunate part is due to the current situation there's really not many cars on the lot if you need a car right now. best bet is be prepared to order or have them check the inventory of what's coming in and be prepared to wait a bit for delivery.

3/28/19 - I had the most terrible experience at this service center. I took my car in for a state and emissions test at 8:15 AM on a weekday. I expected it to be completed by noon at the latest. I called at 1:00 PM to check on the status, someone picked up the phone and then left me on hold for 10+ minutes, so I hung up. I called again at 2:00PM, no one picked up. When I finally called again at 3:00PM, they told me that they were behind and that my car wouldn't be ready for another 1 to 2 hours. Next, they told me that I would fail my inspection if I didn't replace my windshield wipers. They then had the guts to CHARGE me to install my own new set of windshield wipers that I already had in my car. Already upset, I picked up my car and then realized that they never returned my registration and insurance card. I called FIVE times when someone picked up the phone and immediately hung up. Absolutely ridiculous. After calling another office, they kindly offered to walk over to the Subaru Service Center to ask in person. Someone from the service center finally had to call me back and said that they didn't have my documents and asked me to look in my car. I searched everywhere in my car. They told me that it had to be somewhere in my car insinuating that I had lost the papers myself, which is absolutely not the case.THEY STILL HAVEN'T FOUND MY DOCUMENTS AND WILL BE CALLING THEIR MANAGER. Safe to say I will not be returning here after coming here for three years for all other services.4/4/19 - In response to owner's comments: The manager has yet to call me back despite me leaving a message 4 business days ago. I am still missing my original registration and insurance documents and no one has done anything to assist.

Have had great experience's so far with Reedman-Toll Subaru. Back in the winter my vehicle stopped while I was driving it in the middle of traffic. It turned out to be a faulty battery system as I have a Hybrid. I managed to get it to the dealership and since they had to order parts, I was supplied with a free, brand new rental for a week. I was very thankful and have had my vehicle back for routine maintenance several times and never have to wait more than an hour for my car to be serviced. It's a 2016 and I like the convenience of being no more than a mile from my house. Nice waiting area too.

Worst service around. You could not pay my wife or I to bring our Forester back to here. 6 months ago we brought in our car because you could not put the passenger side window down from the driver side. We were told it was fixed, this week we had the same issue. Today we brought it back in to get it fixed. We learned after it got fixed it was a common issue among 2018s. They said when you lose battery power you have to reset the window. They charged us $80 to reset the window, found a tutorial online the task takes less than 2 mins..... $80 for two minutes of work what a joke. Will never go back. So much for Subaru customer service.

I m going to have to give this 1 star. I wish I could give half of a star. I purchased a Subaru from an outside dealership and have been taking care of it myself as well as leaving it with Subaru for maintenance. Particularly, the way service has been working is my issue. I have not been receiving any updates on my vehicle, finished or not. My last service, I called and I received a clueless oh it s ready .Next is pricing and communication, this dealership has failed to provide me with any pricing details on my vehicle over days of maintenance. My last service I was told my total was under $60. Upon arrival with no further communication, my service was over $200 charged.Next is ANOTHER communication issue. I dropped off my Subaru in for a transmission car fluid change and expected pricing on replacement of my fuel filter. After a day or so the called I received stated only that my car was ready for pickup. There were no pricing updates, I called and asked for pricing and my question went unanswered (I assume there s no flat rate). I get to Subaru and at that moment I was informed The fuel filter wasn t replace because the mechanic said it would cost too much .This greatly falls under my expectations. I have received better service from a Firestone..I thought my local dealership would be best for me, but clearly I was mistaken. I will have to take any future services elsewhere.

Terrible service people. Once on a Saturday no one called to tell me my car was ready and when I called they had closed for the day. Then on multiple occasions I ve had smaller issues. Fast forward another year. Dropped car off at 8:30 am and hear nothing. Call at 3:00 pm and find out they didn t even start but will get to it by 4:30 when they close. Called again to check at 4:00 and surprise they won t have it finished until tomorrow morning. If I hadn t called they would have just closed without calling me.

By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. This is the 3rd time I ve been in for the same issue. They put me in a rental car. I dropped the car off on Thursday night. They said it would be done on Friday. It wasn t done. Saturday I was supposed to receive a call back. I never got one. Today I went to the place. They said it was done but they didn t test drive it, so if the problem wasn t solved I would have to bring it back. I told them to keep it and rushed off to my obligations that I was late for due to this visit. I called to speak to the manager, I was told they were too busy. I sat on hold for 35 minutes before talking to an manager in a different department that couldn t address my issue. I waited for a call back and didn t receive one. I called back and they told me they had to order a part that would take 3 days. They want me to return the rental car and bring my car back. I live an hour and fifteen minutes away. They should have established that they needed to order a part during my appointment on Friday, instead of on Monday; and now because of their incompetence I am supposed to be inconvinced during the work week to accommodate them. Shouldn t it be the other way around?

Reedman is a predatorycar dealership. Steer as clear as you can. Ride a bike. Take a skateboard, anything to avoid having to deal with them.Edit: The dealerships response was a transparent attempt to appear responsive. They're not. Upon presentation with my concern, they've abandoned they're attempt, happy with their successful theft of my family member.

I don t usually write reviews but I want to thank the handsome man, Patrick who helped me out! I took my Mitsubishi Lancer in because it was making weird noises. I first tried to take my car to pep boys and they wanted to charge me an arm and leg for all of this work! I was referred to Reedman Tolls service department, I was nervous after with what Pep Boys said. I spoke with Patrick who was very patient in explaining things to me and kept me updated on exactly what was going on. Turns out it was a small fix and saved me a lot of money! My car is running smoothly! I will definitely be returning for all future work.

I recently had my car service at Reedman Toll Subaru, and it was a very pleasant experience. From the time I made the appointment, I was made to feel like Reedman Toll really cared and wanted my business. My service advisor, Nick Barth, could not have been for helpful. He explained everything in detail, and called me several times with updates. Best of all, the service was completed on time. I am completely satisfied, and will definitely Reedman Toll for service.

I brought my car in for a PA inspection. During the inspection, it was determined that I needed a new filter. I explained that I have a maintenance plan through Subaru that would cover the filter. The person told me that the plan only covers oil changes and she never heard of what I was talking about.Long story short, I'm in a different dealership right now for an oil change and I asked about the filter that was just changed recently at Reedman Toll and I was informed that I should NOT have been charged for the filter because I paid for the Subaru Maintenance Plan.In the future, I think it would be beneficial for the people who work here to be well versed in Subaru's plans and policies so they do not over charge loyal Subaru customers.
