Alex is awesome! He turned a scrap head into a completely usable head after he rebuilt it for my mazdaspeed 6. Highly highly recommend! Extremely knowledgeable with factory AND aftermarket stuff. Answered all my questions and explained things that I didn't even know in a easy, simple way. Turnaround time was very convenient even with ordering parts for my head. Communication was primarily through email and was very fast to respond. Prices are also very fair.

If I could give 6 stars, I would. I had all the machine work for my Chevy engine done by Alex and he did a fantastic job. Extremely fair and transparent on pricing. Excellent communication, he s always keeping me updated on his progress, answers all of my questions and finishes the work before the expected date he gives. I HIGHLY suggest using Alex at Reardon for all of your engine work.Services: Engine repair, Motor building

I bought a set of LS heads from Alex, overall great experience. Prompt communication, easy to work with and gave me a great deal. Additionally, even answered some questions that I had outside of purchase. Most importantly, .....a great guy. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for an amazing machine shop experience, look no further. I had my 7MGTE (not very common engine) engine worked on by Alex and he has done an AMAZING job. As other have stated, upfront and fair with pricing, great communication, and answered all of my pesky questions through the whole process. We revive older antique and classic cars for clients and began using Pat Reardon for machine work in 2017 when I moved to the area. As Pat retired in 2020 the new guy Alex took and he has not missed a beat. Alex took over while one of the cylinder heads they were doing for me was being done. His communication was first rate as it always has been. His pricing was clear and did not differ from the estimate as before. His delivery was ahead of schedule and communication throughout the machine work was accurate and clear. I was impressed with their adaptability to our sourcing some of the more difficult to find NOS and antique parts, as our doing so kept the job time line down and minimized the time our job was using space in his shop. For machine work done well with great communication, a fair price, and no surprises, this is the spot!Services: Engine repair, Motor building
