Racecrafters will take the time to explain issues. They build relationships with their customers. Definitely a great place to go!!

Bob and Craig are amazing. Get work done in a timely fashion. Very professional, and always make time to talk to you about your project. Can't say enough good about them.

Worst customer experience i've ever had with a shop, after a brief conversation with the owner it was VERY clear that he had no idea on how to tune any cars other than modern chevy and dodges.

Bob was so helpful as a neutral third party when I needed a pre-purchase inspection done on a car at a nearby dealership, when I was on the other side of the country. He provided a very thorough evaluation of the car down to details most wouldn't even think of. He understood how much his input meant to me in purchasing a car without being there to inspect it myself- invaluable! I couldn't have asked for better input- and I went on to buy the car and am loving it.

I have bought Holley parts and accessories from Bob for my car. Today they dyno tuned my car and I could not be happier. Bob has taken the time to answer the phone and emails from me and answer my questions with detailed analysis. This kind of customer service can not be found just anywhere. I am very pleased with them and will recommend whenever I can.

The people were so great, I wish the review could be technically positive but they goofed and did not own it. If you own an older Mopar or an AMC you may wish to think twice before dropping your stuff here. I am new to the area and was looking for a knowledgeable machine shop for an AMC 401 build. I thought I would give them a low buck low risk test first to see how they would do. I called, was greeted nicely, was invited to come in, and I gave them a pair of drums with hubs still attached and asked them to separate the two. The drums were from a 1963 Rambler american Project car. My first cause for alarm was that they made no mention of swedging when I dropped the drums off: the studs on AMCs and Willys and some old school Mopars are swedged into the hub drum unit and usually most shops charge a fair penny for employing a swedge cutting tool on a vertical mill: there must be a cut made around each stud before hub and drum can be separated. When i came to pick up the drums and hubs, the drums were horribly mishapen which is fine: i was clear I would be getting new ones. What was not fine was that the swaging on the studs was not cut and when i went home I put the hubs in the same jig i had placed them in before they left: the pressing process distorted the hubs beyond use. racekrafters flunked my test. By comparison, when i brought the same job to Reardon's on Concord street, Pat was quick to explain what was required, quoted a price and delivered exactly what was expected: hubs with no distortion or runout with a set of fresh studs ready for swaging, and a bag with my old, cut studs. A wet sump 401 build nowadays goes north of $7.5K. Competence and communication are essential to me during such a process involving that much money. the guys here simply did not give me the confidence to do the build with them. It is now at another shop being done.
