Wayne has been my favorite mechanic since I started taking my car to his shop. He's helped me out with several repairs and I'm always taking my vehicles to him first if I can. He recently saved me a lot of money in repair costs vs what the dealership quoted me.

What a fantastic experience! The owner, Wayne, is an experienced and talented mechanic who takes pride in his work. In my case, I was treated like family and he even drove me home and picked me up in my car once work was completed (I lived within a mile so I wouldn't expect it).I liked that he followed up throughout the week with personal videos showing me the work as it came along and explained how things work. So I got to learn more about car mechanics.Services and parts are charged at a VERY fair and competitive rate (military veterans can receive a discount). He will look for the best rates and/or alternatives (e.g., the flywheel was resurfaced instead of replaced which worked perfectly fine and was cost-efficient). Services were performed in a timely manner. After repairs were finished, the car performed like it was brand new!Taking my car here was a godsend (clutch was about to go out and I had to travel the following week). The experience was great and I highly recommend it! I would take my car back here every time and recommend his services.Side note: I read some previous reviews and understand YMMV. I do believe the administrative side (and presentation) may be a little informal and may come off as off-putting. If you're on the fence, give it a shot - there's the saying, "kill them with kindness" and "you catch more flies with honey." Just explain your situation and be flexible, if possible, and he'll take the job and put his top-notch expertise to use.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Brakes

Don't trust the owner the guy is a well-known gambler. Go here at your own risk. You have been warned.

this has by far been the best experience with an auto mechanic. wayne was straight forward and my truck hasn t run better since i got it. he gave me a quote and it was spot on, and cost half the price of other local places. he was in communication with me through every step and even offered me a cheaper way to fix the problem temporarily so it would pass inspection but recommended to do the job right and i trusted his opinion. he s got a customer for life. thanks again for an A+ job

My husband and I brought our Chevy Colorado in and received excellent service. We felt strongly that even if the issue wasn t fixed, they would make it right. It s happened before to us at other places... they say something is fixed and the issue/it comes back again the next day. Not at PA Auto... you are in good hands! A diamond in the rough - we will be back over and over again! Very reasonable pricing too.

I recently purchased a 12 year old Ford Taurus for My son to use at College, which is 300 miles away. My son limped home this spring with the check engine light on and multiple misfires . The staff at Pa auto checked over the entire car and repaired the problem (spark plugs and wires ). They also identified other issues which should be addressed in the future ( rear brakes, E-brake cable). Necessary repairs were performed quickly, affordably, and the car has been driven 800+ miles over the last month with no problems. I plan to return to have other work done. Communication from the shop was good, and service was great

I called to make an appointment on a Friday and spoke with one of the three gentlemen that worked there. It was very unofficial and they told me to bring my first vehicle by on Monday between 9 and 10. They said the first vehicle would be inspected in a few hours and they would call us and we could swap out so we could get our second vehicle inspected. It seemed like a great way to get both cars done. On Monday I dropped my vehicle off at 9 AM. The guy in the shop had no idea it was coming but said he'd take it anyway. I called the shop at noon to see how my car was doing. No answer. I called 4 more times and left a message stating I was coming to get my car. I arrived at the shop at 3:30 PM and it was closed. Doors were locked and lights were off. LUCKILY there was someone who had the personal number of the man working that day. HE HAD GONE HOME WITHOUT CALLING ME ABOUT MY VEHICLE. The guy came back to the shop to give me my keys but didn't know how to use the card reader, so he couldn't process my payment. He left for a family reason, and while I'm sympathetic, it's still UNACCEPTABLE that my car was done, sitting on their lot, and I wasn't contacted. The owner called to collect payment the next day and after he was paid, he LAUGHED about the situation, said "sorry", and hung up. We took the second car somewhere else and won't be going back. Completely unacceptable.

Wayne is the most honest auto service person I ever met. I like to troubleshoot problems on my own and Wayne always offers the best advice. He doesn't try to "sell" me on his service, he actually gives me tips on servicing my own car. When I'm stumped, I always bring it to PA Auto Service.

All of my vehicles are serviced at PA Auto Services. Owner is knowledgeable, honest and an exceptional mechanic. Everyone who works there is wonderfully helpful and friendly. I highly recommend PA Auto Services on Columbia Ave.

After getting a flat tire, I took it here (closest to where I got the flat), but unfortunately the tire had overheated and couldn't be repaired, they offered to find a replacement tire for a reasonable price (cannot recall how much anymore), but I politely declined because I had a warranty on the tire and could get it replaced where I purchased it. They were completely agreeable with my decline, and they even checked the air pressure on all my tires for free, they didn't charge me for their help.When my car failed inspection at Midas down the street I got an outrageous estimate for parts and repairs, so instead of having the repairs done there I purchased all the parts I could find myself (for cheaper than Midas estimated) and took it here to have the repairs done. They were fine with putting on parts I purchased, and they easily found the ones I couldn't find. There was a slight up-charge in labor because I brought my own parts, but even the parts they found for me were cheaper than what Midas wanted for finding parts, and the labor costs even after the up-charge was still cheaper than the estimate Midas gave for their labor cost. Repairs they preformed included: replacing exhaust manifold and other associated parts, changing oil/filter, and they were even able to clean out the EGR, and topped off my coolant levels. They made all repairs to pass my vehicle's inspection. They even gave me a bottle of injector cleaner for the gas tank to use in my next two fill up's (with clear instructions how to use it).I plan to come here for my auto repairs from now on.

I will never go back to PA Auto Service. I spoke with owner to schedule my appointment for PA inspection/emission. During my call, I indicated that my check engine light was on and that I wasn't sure if any work would be required in order to pass inspection/emission. When I dropped off my car I filled out paperwork stating that car was in for inspection/emissions and that they were to call me if the car required any work in order to pass. Final outcome was that the owner had receptionist call me to authorize a bunch a work/parts in order to clear check engine light, before he even began the inspection/emission process. Come to find out that NONE of the work was required to pass inspection/emission.

Did great work on my vehicle. Very polite and helpful are the crew there, led by Wayne. Recommend all to take there cars and trucks there. Honest and always looking to save you money

This place is THE BEST service I have ever received anywhere! Not just the owner was friendly and most helpful, but his mechanics are also excellent! If you have any car problems, don't waste your money on anywhere else! The prices are also the lowest I've ever seen!

I ve used this car service here to do pre-buy check up on a car from local car dealership. I am highly impressed and totally satisfied with service. The owner of shop is honest sincere and knowledgeable.

I had my car towed there the first time about 6 years ago. I thought the repair was something expensive. Turned out to be a very minor thing costing $50. They could have told me it was more, but didn't. Been a customer ever since.

PA auto is able to fix most any problem that comes my way. My truck is used for business and I depend on it for my living. PA auto takes my limited down time and gets be back on the road.
