Booked a trailer last minute for our move. The desk clerk was more than rude, we needed a ball to hitch us up and rather than providing assistance on where we could obtain that and if we could just return with the ball hooked up on our vehicle he turned us away and told us we needed to cancel our booking and go somewhere else. The lack of help and professionalism was really surprising, do better folks.

We are new to PA and the inspection requirements are no joke! Barry's Automotive was amazing to work with to get my minivan to pass inspection. Super friendly, and I never felt like I was spoken down to or up charged unnecessarily. (A real problem as a woman where I'm from originally!) They worked with my schedule and communicated with me about everything. I have been so impressed with their work and their service. I'll continue to use them for all my vehicles needs.

Barry's Automotive is a good place to get gas --- but their computerized gas pump system really sucks --- which is why I rate Barry's Automotive only three out of five stars. I have to be really quick when reading the computer screen and punching the buttons or else the machine will time out and I will have to start all over again with the marathon of entering pin number, zip code, pump number, and grade of gas. The inconvenience of operating this confounded computer system is not worth being able to get gas at this place 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by using it. The final straw came one morning when I tried to get gas at 5:30 AM and the machine wouldn't even read my debit card! Again and again, in anger and desperation, I repeatedly inserted the card --- only to get the same "INCORRECT READING" message each time. I was forced to leave and come back at 8:00 after the place had opened for the day, not only to get gas but also to complain about the computer system, saying that from now on I'm going to get their gas only during normal business hours when the place is open so that I can pay inside instead of at the pumps. The strange thing is, the computer system read my card and worked just fine after 8:00 AM. BY THE WAY, there is no way to bypass the computerized pump system because EVEN THE ATTENDANT has to physically walk out of the building and over to the pumps and then use the computer system himself --- EVEN after I have walked INSIDE the building to pay for my gas at the counter. Barry's automotive would be the classic kind of place to get gas if only the computer system didn't foul it up so bad --- bunch of sheiss. This place needs to either upgrade its computer system to be more user-friendly or get rid of its computer system altogether.

I am a widow whose husband always maintained our vehicles or else knew someone who could do it. When I took my car for inspection at Firestone last year, they had a long, expensive list of things that it needed. Because of the cost I ended up just doing what was necessary to pass inspection. One of the things they mentioned it would need for the next inspection was engine mounts which I had totally forgotten about. In recent months, my car started vibrating and shaking terribly while in idle. It got so bad that I finally drove into Barry's Automotive to schedule a time for them to look at my car even though I had never been here before. The mechanic said he could look at my car right away. He found it was those mounts I had forgotten about then the manager gave me an immediate quote (way, way less than Firestone had quoted). I asked him to put me on their schedule, but the manager said he could order the part immediately and have it delivered and the car fixed within an hour! When finished, my car was super smooth again! The price was perfect! I am extremely satisfied with Barry's and have recommended them to my family and friends already! I will be a regular customer from now on!

Currently renting a van from Barry's while my work van is being repaired. Rental Is clean and reliable! I would recommend this company to anyone who needs a rental.*They have larger uhal trucks for moving as well!

I called to ask about getting a trailer hitch on my car but he was on the other line. He called the next day and gave me a price that was outrageous all in all he got good reviews ol so it seems they are under staffed and over worked.......

One of the few places around that still sells ethanol free gasoline! Pumps are automated so you can get gas 24/7 even if store is closed.

Holy hell, getting gas out the pumps here is impossible. First swipe your card and enter your code, then go through an extensive training excercise, where you need to repeatedly acknowledge that you know how to operate a gas pump. Then you get a 5 digit code. Then you need to re-swipe your card and enter the 5 digit code, followed by some zip code. Then you enter your pump number and finally the grade of fuel you desire. This is then proceeeded by a "invalid k" screen and you are prompted to swipe your card again. Only to go through the entire excercise all over again. Here's the secret: you never get any gas - ever.

Returned a uhaul and was charged a $25 cleaning fee because the $5 moving blankets I rented weren t folded. I was NEVER told the blankets needed to be folded. Obviously I would have folded them had I known. When I picked up the truck there was a pair of socks and an apple core in the door. Which was gross but I just threw away, now I m being charged $25 for cleaning!!

Rented a uhaul there to my daughter they let her leave with the uhaul having exhaust issues truck was loud and smelled of fumes very unprofessional when we tried to ask for some of our money back demanded and apology after we told him we was calling better business bureau I will never go there nor will my family or friends I would rate them a 0 but I m being nice after they was rude about the situation never go there again she even put gas in and he charges her for gas very unprofessional ripping people off

This is only about the gas that they sell is pure gasoline... No ethanol and it's as high as 91 octane... I appreciate that somebody who gives you a good product.
