They do very good work with honest pricing. I got my alignment, oil change, and new tires here. I was able to get new tires mounted and balanced in under 24hrs after ordering them through Owen Motors.

Great service !!!! Didn't put new valve stems on my newly mounted snow tires :( BOOOOO !!!!! Fantastic job balancing my tires, friendly qualified guy. I'll be back !!!!!!

I don't write reviews , but my experience with Owen's Motor repair was so good I thought I'd share. My car was making a wheel bearing noise I called Mark on a Tuesday to see if I could drop it off. He said sure will look at it on Wednesday. By Tuesday evening he had looked at car diagnosed . He said he would order part. I expected the usual week and a half that most mechanics do. My car was repaired at a reasonable price by Thursday morning. Mark will be my family mechanic going forward ty Owen's motors!

Always fair and never tries to have me do unnecessary work. The honesty is highly appreciated and their business has been thoroughly earned. Highly recommend if you re looking for a good mechanic that won t ask you to do unnecessary work. Very rare these days. Owner even recommended parts for me to order and replace myself because he knew it was something I could do to save myself some money. Thanks guys.

Really nice man working there (I think he is the owner) We have walked in twice needing an inspection and balancing tires. Both times he worked on our car immediately while we waited. His prices are reasonable and we really appreciated that he helped us out so quickly. We will go back here for any future vehicle fixes!

Best honest professional Respectful truthful caring mechanic shop. Mr.Owen work on your car as if It was his very own. He always makes time for your car & he DO NOT CHEAT anyone for their money. Any negative review here is false. People want their car running safe fix as new come to Owen Motor shop you will not regret it.He works triple hard for your car & everything has a price. He has a family to support too.Some people don't really know how hard it is To fix a car.. *This is not section 8 people* Thank you Mr Owen .

Extremely rude and very unprofessional. Went in for inspection and emissions. He said he couldn't do the inspection because of a little rust damage and also didnt pass my emissions because he said the codes weren't there. When I got my truck home ,my mechanic passed emissions and inspection. Owen charged me for something he never fixed. If I were you I would try a different place.

Mark is great to work with, he services our entire fleet and is always honest with us if a vehicle is not worth the price of repairs or he sees something that could be a future issue. This is a very nice family buisness to deal with, we have never had any issues with them.

I have been buying cars and getting my cars fixed by Owen Motors for 12 years now. More than once they have helped me in emergency situations and I can not say thank you to them enough. They are wonderful and do great work.

Always a courteous greeting when dealing with Mark, the owner. Fast and reliable service at a fair and reasonable price. Been with them for over 15 years. The only mechanic in Lake Ariel I will do business with.

Manager Mark Owen runs a tight shop. Outstanding service at reasonable prices. Always do their best to work me in. Team understands that working people need their cars! Only place in Pennsylvania that I will ever take my cars for repairs.

The owner is extremely rude. I was thinking about buying a Volkswagen Beetle from him (not knowing the guy already has a bad reputation). I took the car to my mechanic to have it looked at to make sure it was suitable to buy. If everything checked out within reason I was going to purchase the car. A few issues came up. One had to do with the original exhaust system in the car. My mechanic told me the car needed a new exhaust system sooner rather than later. He also mentioned that this could be pricy to repair and recommended asking the owner to come down on the price. Well, when I returned to the car lot, Roy asked me how everything went. All I said was there were a few things and he immediately got defensive and rude. I calmly explained what my mechanic had told me. I was even willing to negotiate with him until he started getting loud. He denied the car needing a new exhaust and even told me to "go buy a new car so you don't have to put a penny into it for ten years". He was extremely argumentative. The fact that he would do this to any one of his customers let alone a 24 year old girl is very disturbing. I would NEVER buy anything from him or recommend anyone buy anything from this nut job.

This review is regarding the car rental that is proudly advertised on a sign in front of the business. Daily car rental for $19.95 a day sounds like a reasonable deal. Just wait until you see the car that you get. The car they rented to me was worse than any car I have ever driven. The rental took place in the summertime, and the air conditioning was not working. The radio was functional, but could not be turned off, only turned down. The car was very noisy and very likely was burning oil. The interior of the car was falling apart, and the exterior was very 'dinged' up. I expressed concern when I first saw the vehicle. I returned to the business a couple more times during the rental period to request some sort of improvement to my situation. When I complained I got a lot of excuses about how busy they were, and how poorly other customers treated them (after my experience I can understand why that might be). Further I was told that they didn't have a secretary or a person to detail the cars to explain why my experience was so poor. The car could not be improved by detailing, and a secretary isn't going to be able to get the car into better condition. I, myself, would be embarrassed to work for this company. There was no interest in trying to assist me as the customer to feel like I was receiving even close to standard service. I am a very easy-to-please customer with a very long fuse but I will not ever deal with this business again. I would discourage anyone who is interested in a reasonable level of service from attempting to use the services of Owen Motors. This was not a good experience on any level. I was in a difficult position, and the worker I dealt with took full advantage of my situation by giving me a substandard product and substandard customer service.

Always helpful and friendly, a best kept secret that getting out because they are just starting to get too busy. I never have trouble booking an appointment or just dripping in for a quick look-see. the guys know their stuff but don't look for problems for the classic upsell. Tell them what you want/need and don't expect them to waste your time or theirs looking at anything else.truely honest if a tiny bit on the worth it side if pricey.

Excellent Mechanical Skills. Price fair and work done when you need it. Also Rental cars for 15-$20. Must try.. WILL NOT TALK YOU INTO UNNECESSARY WORK... 9 STARS.Mark the owner, will do quality work. And always use Quality Products. Everyone I know goes to Owens, Tell Owen Big Mike sent you...UPDATE. My SUV had proplem in Scranton guy told me I needed transmission,$3500, went to OWENS.Didn't need transmition just fluid change. 10 out of 10.

Never ever ever again! My mother took my car as a favor to be inspected and was charged twice by this man. She called and he told her to call her bank so she did and disputed the charge. That was two months ago. Now we get a call telling us he searched social media to find me her daughter to find a number to call for his money . You were paid sir and now your stalking and this is harassment. Listing my friends on social media and reaching out to find me is NOT a good business practice. NEVER again will I let someone make me feel harassed! I should call the state police!

The best mechanic repair shop I have ever been to .. I will not ever bring my car when repairs r needed to anyone else .. I trust Mark & Roy completely .. I have NEVEF bee Mis led .. safe & knowledge on all aspects of automobiles beyond just repairs ..!!! Fair priced ..!!

I made an appointment for a tire change. But when I got there, he then informed me he didn't have time. Rude and unprofessional. A business should not make appointments and then not keep them.

Took my sisters car there.. A Volkswagen which supposedly they specialize in. 735.00 later and the car still isn't repaired. I called back and they wanted to charge her more to look at it again. They are a ripoff and I'm going through the courts to get my money back.

Bought a Jeep from them and was told their mechanic had fixed everything and it was good to pass inspection. Upon taking it to be inspected, three days after we purchased tge vehicle, we discovered there was not only rust but actual holes rotted through the front differential. Pa state laws States that no car shall be sold that will not pass inspection. This includes cars sold with an "as is" policy. A bad differential is actually listed as one of the items the seller is responsible for. So now we are in a situation where the vehicle is not safe to drive, if his mechanic actually fixed or even looked over then they knowingly sold us an unsafe vehicle, he also knew we had children who would be in this vehicle. As it is stands we are trying to resolve the issue without involving the police. We could have them shut down but are attempting to give them a chance to pay for and correct the situation. None of this would be happening if they had properly checked the vehicle and this is a hassle and stress that was not needed, nor should be involved in purchasing a vehicle.

I paid $100 for A.C. service and now they tell me I'll have to pay more to see why my car is still blowing hot air.. I told them this before..Dam mechanics don't trust none of them
