Safe and Sound has been my go-to mechanic since I ve had a car! They are so helpful and honest, and they explain everything that s going on if you are a bit confused by cars, like me. Prices are very reasonable, and they are very thorough with their inspections and safety checks! Highly recommend!!!

I had a great experience getting my car inspected here! They were super flexible and kind, they were able to work with the work schedule, and they were very upfront about the cost of my service. They did an amazing job! They went above and beyond to help me. Super professional and nice. Lady in the front made me feel so welcomed and made sure (as a girl) I understood everything! The mechanic came in to talk to me about exactly what he was going to fix. I recommend this shop to everyone. Very amazing work for what I paid!!

Been going here for 10 years. Local, family owned and operated business. Honest and dependable,. I've never been overcharged and I've never had a complaint about any work I've had done. I can't say that about any other shop I've used.

I have been a customer at Safe N Sound for the past 5 years since moving out of my parents'. I was spoiled by my own family's auto shop back home, so I was looking for something family run and reliable. I am so glad I found these people, and love supporting a woman owned business. I count on them for inspection, routine maintenance, diagnostics, and more. These folks are EXCELLENT communicators; they will be 100% honest and work with you and your schedule. Just today they fit me in with an hour's notice on an already busy day to check for a nail in my tire -- plugged it up and I was out within 25 minutes. Typically when I need to drop my car off I speak with them on the phone numerous times throughout the day and get lots of helpful updates. We are a one car family and they always get it back to me quickly. The prices are reasonable as well, and they'll tell you what you'll need in the near future. I feel so so lucky to have them around!

Everyone who works here go out of their way to take care of you and your vehicle. We have taken three different cars here, old and new, and they have never failed to fix it completely and quickly, with kindness and a good price. They explain the issues so well and give you good options whenever possible. I have had many mechanics over my 59 years. Safe and Sound are the best!

I truly felt safe and sound here at the shop . During travel I had a tire blowout , near the shop and stopped by. They were more than happy to help me with the tire. Happen to have the exact tire I needed at a fair price even though I was in need. Thank you guys so much !!!

They have lied to my extended warranty stating extreme rust I have pictures that prove other wise also said I needed new brake parts at double the price. And when I questioned about it on Facebook they put my paper work up other garages quoted half the price but in the end brakes just needed adjustment

Went in to get my car fixed today and was greeted by the employees, owner, and mechanics with nothing but kindness. They knew exactly how to fix the issue and were very understanding and helpful. Great service and great staff. Highly recommend!

I was having a car emergency and needed someone to look at my car asap. As a young woman myself, it was comforting to be greeted by a woman-ran business. I immediately felt safe and they were very kind and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain everything to me and made sure I was comfortable with all the repairs and charges needed on my car. They even offered to call my parents and explain it to them. I did not feel rushed or pressured like I have at some big chain mechanic places. I really appreciated their great customer service and will be coming back next time I need something for my car & for oil changes. Glad to have found this place!

Would I utilize this shop again in the future? ABSOLUTELY. Outstanding service and customer service skills. All around great place to go, very knowledgeable on every aspect of mechanical issues. I tried for DAYS to remove a broken spark plug from the cylinder and couldn t remove it. Rob had gotten it out not even an hour after I dropped it off. If you ve got an issue with your vehicle, take it here! They will make you feel like family, not just a number.

I can not say how much I love this garage. I came to them for the first time under the recommendation of my partner and I will do everything I can to continue to use their services. I love in Reading and the drive is worth it to me.I originally came here after my vehicle left me stranded on a random weekday on my way to work. It was just before Christmas and I was struggling to say the least. Autumn immediately put me at ease and listened to not only my car troubles but helped to calm my nerves overall.They were able to get my car running and at a reasonable cost. I have since taken my car back for further work and don't see any reason to find another place to work on my vehicle. I also can't say how much I appreciate their communication and dedication. They explain everything and kept me informed so well. I know they care and I can't say how much that means.

The employees there are very helpful and kind! They explain everything and provide estimates for services/parts needed. It was super easy to make an appointment and they have a place to wait while they work on your vehicle. Overall, I was very pleased with the service I received here and I highly recommend them for automotive services!

Safe and Sound was originally recommended to me by my former neighbor and I've been going here for over 10 years. Always received great service and never had any issues with quality of work. Pricing is reasonable. Highly recommended.

I cannot say enough good things about them! I've been an avid customer of Safe and Sound for years. Steph and Autumn have always treated me like family. Plus who doesn't love two hot moms!! They've taken great care of my Camry. I'd trust no other place to take care of my vehicle. Very friendly and inclusive atmosphere, they love everyone if you're looking for a great mechanic and good prices look no further!!

Have used this auto shop several times for repair & maintenance that my son need while in college. He found this shop and is very happy with and continues to use it. The staff (Autumn & others I'm sure) have gone out of their way to look out for the customer and give fair and honest feedback on repairs needed and how best to address each issue. They have even given some unbelievably helpful information and direction from their past experience and knowledge in the field. A great local business with caring staff and top notch customer service!! They have secured our return business and deserve yours if in the area and looking for a reliable great place to do business.Thanks so Much!!

Been going to Safe and Sound for years. Never had any problems with their services. Always willing to explain what and why everything is needed. The mechanics are a riot to talk to and the ladies in the office are like moms I ve always wanted, extremely caring and informative. Thank you guys for the amazing service!

The ladies than run the place are amazing, always friendly, squeeze me into their schedule when needed, and offer great prices. The mechanics are awesome, they show me what s going on with my vehicle and what I need to keep an eye out for to maintain it. This is the only place I take my vehicles to get serviced. 10/10 service.

I've been taking my car here since I started driving.Friendly and knowledgeable staff, convenient location, reasonable prices, and amazing service.They go above and beyond every time I take my car there and are always willing to work with my schedule. I have been utilizing their services since they opened in 2007. They're always friendly, upfront, and honest. Outside of suggested maintenance, they won't ever sell you on anything you don't truly need at the moment. Rob is a rock star car tech with great attention to detail. I always trust my vehicles to Rob, and those he has trained and vetted.It's kinda corny but I really do feel my vehicles are Safe and Sound in their care

Great local business to do business with. I have had some major repairs done to my vehicles with them and have never had an issue afterwards. They use quality parts, the prices are reasonable and the quality of work is top notch. Steph, Autumn, Rob and the crew are all people friendly and fun to chat with. Anyone looking for a new mechanic, I refer them to Safe and Sound.

I went to safe and sound to get my oil changed and their service was amazing. They offered me something to drink and the remote to the tv. I had good conversations with all of the employees working. It was my first time getting my oil changed and they were all super nice about it. The price was very reasonable and what I was expecting.

For my own preference, kind customer service is something I really appreciate and every time I have dropped my car off the customer service has been amazing. They also will touch base with you while they have your car and make sure that you know what s going on. There is a welcoming energy about them that just makes you feel good to be there. Honestly one of the best places in the area and I will not be going anywhere else.
