I was totally and completely ripped off, mis informed lied to and much more from good ol Danny. I personally and whole hardly would recommend you avoid him like the plague. Danny gave me a oral estimate. This is not legal. I read the other reviews and it said his estimate was spot on. So I give him a shot. Danny told me personally that was a estimate and did not honor the oral contract that he did create. He told me he was the best and he was a specialist. He is not! He told me he would replace the O2 sensors he did not. Why did he over charge me. Why did he not do what he was over paid to do? Let us dig deeper. Information that I have discovered, leads me to personally believe it is because he did exactly bait and switch me, I am Lee.I believe the reason he did not replace the 02 sensors is because he could further charge me for the second repair. Even though the first repair cost me way more then the two combined. He was supposed to do two repairs he did one and it nearly cost me the full amount of both repairs, but did even cause me way more and continues to cost me more each and every day. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from this shop as possible. He does not follow the letter of the law. If you deal with him this illegal activity that over flows from this shop is cancerous. His unclean hands might become yours. I shook his hand and God blessed him. He is not Christian. Nor am I or at least I m not a perfect one. But that s ok none of us are. I do believe in God. I am not judging him I am only tell you of my personal experience with Danny and DB automatic. Much illegal activity does indeed take place at his shop in Great Meadows, New Jersey. Consumer beware. You have been warn. I am currently sitting broke down on the side of the road. You know why? Because of, Danny. He bullied me into making the repair and did not give me the documentation I need that was oral. I need the documentation for my records. He is deceitful, deceptive and a liar at best. He done unlawful activity and it did spill on me. As I sit here stranded on the side of the road. In a dangerous and dark location I could be in harm way.

VERY disappointed in our car repair this time. Had water pump replaced and timing chain done since it's a big job on our SUV. Something wasn't right when we got it back. Called when they reopened next week and took it back in. They installed a bad part,needed to replace it. Go to pick up vehicle and they're charging me for labor AGAIN...I CANNOT BELIEVE THEY DID THIS. It was your part not mine, you cover the cost. We already paid nearly $2000 for the work & now another $490 bucks!!! It's not my problem YOU GOT A BAD PART!! NEVER TRUST THIS PLACE AGAIN.. we have used Dave before for other repairs in the past.

D B Automotive Sales and Repair are the best body shop in Luzerne County! Their mechanics are top notch (fixed my air conditioning) and they just replaced a damaged hood on my Lexus SUV. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have always been able to get me an appointment in a timely matter. I'll continue to bring vehicles to DB whenever I need anything done. Keep up the good work.

Made an appointment to get my car inspected- I got it there kinda late. Was told might not get today but most likely early am next day - due to the busy schedule (which I understood). Called 2hrs later and was the car was done. They were very nice and professional. I would definitely use this shop again and recommend they as well. - Thank you

i had some minor scuffs and hail damage-they fixed it in less than one day on my subaru for a fabulously low price! and gave me the leftover touch up paint. they had previously repaired some scratches on my wife's chevy cruze car (from probably my broom snow removal technique) and another damaged incident on her same car when a guy accidently backed slightly into it.he left a note-good guy! and paid) again they fixed it for a very fair price-very quickly bottom line: i recommend this business! UPDATE 5/16/23 HAD SOME RUST BUT THEY FIXED IT Perfectly AND EVEN WASHED MY DIRTY CAR TOO!

These guys are the best. The body guys are spot on. I purchased a brand new 2017 Silverado and I wanted some one off stuff done to it. They were on my level and understood exactly what I was after. I couldn't be any more pleased with my experience. Justin was very respectable with the price and willing to go above and beyond when it came to the work. I would trust anyone to come to get body work done here! Thank you guys I will be back !

Car preexisting damages: blown fifth gear in a five speed transmission with reverse.I went to D&B under good intentions and left my car for simple repairs. I had a blown out fifth gear. I dropped the transmission myself and took it to D&B to have it rebuilt, this is not the first transmission I have removed and swapped out, I have a good mind on what I am doing and how to do it. They had the transmission for close to a month before they called me back and said it was done. I picked it up took it home and reinstalled it to the car as well as a new clutch. After the swap was over there was the test drive. Fifth gear ( the one they replaced) grinding with every shift, same story for the reverse gear. Now to add to my damages my reverse lights no longer worked and my speed sensor failed to work. I swap both the speed sensor and the light switch and everything was working well other then the grinding gears. I took the car to D&B and explained what the issue was. They took responsible for the gears and said immediately that they knew what the problem was. They then dropped the transmission and did the rebuild again. Picking up the car was a nightmare. There were more things wrong now then when I dropped it off. New list of damages after being in their care: reverse light switch broken again, speed sensor broken again, head lights inoperable on low and high beams, ABS light on, transmission never re grounded to the car and a check engine light on. Now how does my car have more issues after leaving your lot then coming in? I give this list of issues to them a day after picking it up. The owner then tells me that the car came in with those issues?? If you reflect to the beginning of this write up you will see that the simple issue with the car prior to meeting D&B was a blown fifth gear. I never took my car back to them after this not ever for the damages that took place while they had the car. Why? You simply can't trust them or the work they do. Their mess up ends up costing me pockets full of cash. I do not recommend D&B for any simple task or complex job.

Best customer service I ve received in a long time. They finished my car quickly and did very good work. I was kept well informed throughout the time my car was in to be fixed. Justin was awesome in helping me with my deductible!

My daughter in law went to D&B to have her car looked at. It turned out she needed a new drive shaft. D&B changed it. The part they put on was also broken. She barely managed to get it to the closest shop the next day. D&B refused to help even when the broken part was shown to them and given back to them. I would think a supposedly reputable garage that agreed they saw what the problem was would have done something more. No money back. No new part. No agreeing to fix the mistake. Over a 1000 spent for nothing. She ended up having to take it somewhere else. I've been told after the fact from other friends and colleagues about horror stories regarding D&B. I hope this review makes it to atleast one person who will change their mind about going to D&B and I know I've saved them time money and aggravation! Please think twice!!

DO NOT bring your car here I brought my car here for 2 codes that popped up on my scanner and after having it for 7 hrs I finally picked it up and 2 days later I had my check engine light on and my car was back firing and stalling. After I talked to there one mechanic and explained what was going on I left it there another day thinking they would fix it but after paying $218 the owner was trying to charge me additional for the 5 codes that are now popping up when I dropped it there with 2. And on top of that they re mechanics where all drinking on the job and I received my car in worse shape then when I brought it in. Now I have to bring it to dodge because all these new problems with it and have to pay additional. The owner was very rude and I think I should get a refund because I brought it in there for a turbo leak and it still has it and came out of his garage with 5 additional problems and he won t even fix it...... I wouldn t even give 1 star if I could

Bad don't go please they will do you in they buy cars from junk sell em to you they brake down then they say you bought it ,then they laugh all the way to the bank they did it to me 3000 dollars,first the heater in 28 days ,then tranny in2 months they just laughed at me and said I bought I,Dodge neon now they have 3 more white ones don't buy em all the same old version cars
