Jim and John have done a great job with our vehicles! They aretimely and thorough and we are confident in the work that they do.We lost our mechanic of many years and he was the one who recommended Boro Line. They don't disappoint!

I have no complaint about the repair or the service. However, the price was quite steep for me. I am going to have to find someplace more economical. If cost isn't too much of a concern for you, this might be a good place to do business

Excellent auto service, reasonable prices, and very friendly staff. We go here to get our regular maintenance or to fix any issues we may have - never had an issue with any of the work done here. All work done in a reasonable amount of time too, which is a big bonus. Definitely check this place out if you are looking for a place to take your car.

I want to send my deep thanks to Boro Line Auto Service. I have been trying to find a way to keep my beloved, well-traveled Mercury Mariner on the road. My dad recommended Boro Line - he felt Jim seemed honest, capable, and fair. I got my Mariner back last week to find that Jim had fixed so many of its issues (including an air conditioner that has not worked properly for years). I can recommend this shop highly for excellent, fairly priced service!Service: General repairs & maintenance

The owner Jim and the other mechanic John are both great. When we lived in the area we found them and used this shop for both regular maintenance and a few more major repairs. They worked on our commuter car as well as our pickups. They went above and beyond to work with our schedules and estimates were always right on. Having close friends who are mechanics back home, I could tell that they are not pulling any punches and genuinely want to do a good job and form good and lasting relationships with their clients. If we didn't move 1300 miles away we would absolutely still be using them for all of our needs.Services: Electrical repair, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Wheel alignment, Brakes, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning, Oil change

I would leave no stars if I could. This is a money grab of a car repair place. Everytime we take our cars here there always seems to be a new problem with our cars. Jim is a crooked man looking to make a quick buck. My inspection failed due to a $1,200 issue communicated to me. I refused their repairs and I fixed the issue myself for $200 brought my car back to finish the inspection and now they tell me theyre failing for something that passed the first time and will now cost me upwards of $1,000. Jim seems like a nice man on the first impression but he just looking to con you. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!

Do not take your car here. Jim will try to get money from you however he can. He is not interested in long term returning customers. I have spent thousands with him and helped support his business and in return my wife and I were lied to. She took the car in for inspection and was told it would be upwards of $1,200 for struts and labor. I bought the struts myself for $200 and the labor took me 1 hour. 5 bolts to remove each strut. I m not even a mechanic. She was also told, there is a pin sized leak in the exhaust but the car will pass inspection if you just fix the struts. So I fixed the struts and brought the car back to get it inspected. I was now told the car would not pass unless I fixed the leak. The cost would be around $1,000. He supposedly found a cheaper option that would land me at about $600 after parts and labor. When I told Jim my wife had recorded him telling her that it would pass inspection with the pin sized leak Jim told me, I don t remember talking with your wife and maybe the hole grew. He apologized but would not inspect my car. I will not be taking my car back there as he was not willing to work with me. Jim if you are reading this. I was polite and respectful to you. I was hoping you would honor you word but you did not so I cannot trust you. I had the car on a lift and saw the leak myself and it did not grow.

We recently purchased a used car and chose Boro Line to get an inspection. We were so satisfied with the experience that we came back for an oil change and routine maintenance. They are always super kind, informative and helpful! Not to mention they have a lovely waiting room for their clients. Very friendly people & awesome mechanics! They took my car the same day that I called in, Jim was awesome really nice and funny and explained everything to me. Reasonably priced, definitely will be going here from now on! We are happy customers !

I had my tires changed at Boro Line, along with a few other minor repairs. They were incredibly professional and got my work done quickly and well. The prices were reasonable as well. I needed a small piece for my window washer fluid and they had to order the part. They gave me the option to just bring the car back for it whenever I had the chance, which I appreciated. I forgot for a while (despite calls to remind me) but when I eventually remembered they had the piece all ready for me and attached it for free.I was extremely happy with my service!

Unprofessional & dishonest. I called the owner Jim to get a rough estimate to have my front brakes done and was told that I'd have to bring the car in to get a quote. I left it for a few hours and was given an estimate via email to which I replied that I'd bring the car back the following week or so to have the work done. I went in to pick up my car after getting the estimate and was told that there was a $60 charge just for the estimate. So, they won't give you a price over the phone to make you come in and then they charge you for something that they never mentioned that there was a charge for in order for you to get your car back. Totally unprofessional & dishonest - stay away.

Is a hidden place that I found online. I had my inspection and emission test for my car sticker renewal. They have nice waiting area with Roku and you can entertain yourself while waiting, with water and coffee as well. They even out the date at the back in of the sticker, a special way that make sense. Thank you Jim, I was happy with my first time experience. Will definitely come back

Boro line automotive is a great place. They are very knowlegeable and upfront with the work they perform and the cost. Jim (the owner) and his son take good care of your auto. This place is a hidden gem, give it a try!

PRO:Very friendly mechanicsUpfront about appointment & service availabilityCON:Beware their "Shop Supplies" feesHigher supplies fees compared to othersDid not take ownership of tire lug nuts came out day after my $80 "safety" checkDid not take ownership of "car-battery OK" that AAA & 2 others said needed to be replaced.Like many places, this place puts the onus of "routine" & "recommended" car-maintenance back on you.I would not go back to pay 20-40% more for the same service others normally charge.

I've been going to Boroline Auto since I owned my first car at 16. 35 years later- this is still my shop. They are honest, they do great quality work and I would trust them with my car, my wife's car, and my daughter's car. Most of my friends use them now and are so glad I recommended them to them. This is a business you can trust.

Amazing car care and customer service! I personally don't know a whole lot about cars, so I greatly appreciate and trust their honesty when explaining to me what my car needs. Reasonably priced and super friendly staff! Will definitely be returning to this garage as a life long customer!:)

I have been taking my cars to Boro Line since moving to the area 20 years ago and they have always been friendly, fast, thorough, and fairly priced. In an age of growing internet sales and big boxing, I am glad to be able to support locally owned business whenever I can.

This mechanic is tucked back down the road, but is local to us. Figured we would try them. We've been there a few times now, for routine maintenance and less planned repairs. They do solid work and don't "find" other things wrong with the car while it is in. Pricing is OK.

This is the only place I take my car for repairs, inspections, and oil changes. Jim and his team are trustworthy and I am always happy with my service, at reasonable prices too.
