I met with Jessica (store manager, Kimberton) on Friday 4/19/24 to arrange service for Saturday. Saturday morning at 8am my car went in for tires at 9:57am it came out. That is 3 minutes short of 2 hours for tires. After an hour I started looking in on the progress. I can t believe a man can move that slow but that was the case. I didn t want to make a deal about it until other people started asking why there appointments were not being honored. I have had good service in the past, something has gone wrong in this store.

Recently brought my vehicle in for inspection, I dropped it off 2 hours before closing assuming I d pick it up the following morning. I was thankful when Jason called me at 5:55 stating my car was ready and he d wait for me until 6:30 to grab the car. That was such a kind gesture and much appreciated. I was blown away by the customer service and I feel that the pricing they offer for inspection is one of the best in the area too.

Just look at my poorly balanced tires to give you an example of the quality of work that gets done here. The quality is the most egregious, but the imprecise service is what will keep me away for good.First and foremost I have nearly 5oz of weights on 3 tires, and half of the wheels having the weights from the old tires, and new weights being 180 degrees from other new weights. These wheels were previously perfectly balanced with much less weight with the exact replacement tires. The techs are not trained on the use of their equipment, plain and simple. I have to get these balanced elsewhere.Second, the gentleman on the phone who seemed to want to get off the phone as quickly as possible deferred an answer on my service request, offering a call if my request couldn't be completed. He seemed to know more than he had time to share. I did not receive a call and therefore expected my service to go as requested. Lo and behold when I arrived 2 days later at the scheduled time and some items of my service request were not a possibility. I rejected all services but the tire installation.Third, I got a call later that the tires were installed but the alignment which was not authorized could not be completed due to a 'bad hub' and it would be $480 to repair. I got my car back and immediately rectified the problem by simply torquing the axle nut down. The wheels were off, perfect opportunity to diagnose! The alignment was not authorized and if a bad hub and a loose axle nut are the same thing, PLEASE do not work on my car.While I do not believe that this place is the cause of it, my reverse sensor quit while at the facility, blowing a fuse which also controls my headlights. Perhaps this place is cursed. I would believe it.

One of my tires was losing air. They took me right in, found the nail in my tire and fixed it quickly, all at no charge because I buy the protection plan on the tires. Can't say enough about the service and standing by their guarantee!

Fantastic Service. I have gone to CJ s for years because of their quick and reasonably priced services. I recently had a headlight burn out and they accommodated me that same day.

Until today I have had good things to say about CJ s Tire. But today, $130 for a TPMS tire air pressure sensor installed on my rim and I even brought the tire in, they did not have to take it off or put it back on my car! You can buy these sensors for $15-$25 online. This was WAY over the top! Ask for prices before you get work done and if it is outrageous like this was, go somewhere else.

Store Manager, Leon provides outstanding customer service! I wasn't entirely satisfied after my first visit due to a communication error, but when I brought it to his attention, he went above and beyond to make it right. I'm very impressed and would recommend them to everyone.

I just started my landscaping business this year and out of no where my truck started having all kinds of issues. I started to have a melt down and the guys at CJs Tires completely stepped up and helped me in every way the could. I wanted to specifically mention the manager named Leon. He gave the best customer service I ve ever had experienced and really helped me out. They got the work done fast and did an excellent job. CJs will have my business going forward. A big thank you to Leon and the CJs team! Job well done!

Bob and his team are the best! They really care about their customers and it shows through their excellent customer service and problem resolution. They went above and beyond to correct the problem with my vehicle and my experience! Definitely recommend this place - they are the best around and most honest employees!

Went yesterday while out of town with my kids, had gotten a screw in my tire, thought they would have been able to repair it since all 4 tires are just a few months old. Nope, they wanted me to buy a new tire, stating the screw was "too close to the side wall", which is bull$#:%, as I worked in my father's repair shop for years and the screw was more than 2 inches from the side wall. Wasted about an hour total. The technician couldn't pull my car into the shop without stalling it (standard 5 spd manual). I'd say overall useless and looking to rip people off. I left furious, went to Mavis down the rd, they had my tire plugged and us back on the rd in a max of 20 min. Go to Mavis tires!!!

Had a terrible experience. Went in for an inspection, was told that I needed new brake pads because it failed the test. Then was told I'd also have to get the rotors because that's the way they are sold. They then tried to upsell be saying that I should get the brake fluids flushed on my car that has about 38,000 miles. The brakes and rotors I was told would cost around $568.I decided to take my vehicle for a second opinion to a trustworthy mechanic.The second mechanic agreed the pads needed to be replaced but I could wait on the rotors. No brake fluids needed to be replaced (said it was overkill).I had the second place do my inspection as well as the brake pads and rotors and came in at $421, well under what it would have cost at CJs for just brake pads and rotors.I was forced to pay the inspection even though it had failed at CJs but decided to pay at the second place again because I didn't trust taking my car back to CJs.Maybe they felt they could take advantage of me because I'm a woman or older? Or maybe this is the way they do business.

Would recommend anyone that needs tires. Same day service. The Kimberton store ataff was great. Just a short wait and I had 4 new tires. Thankyou Kimberton Store.

A+++ ~ You want to take your car to a place where they will provide excellent service. This location delivers on everything you would want: great managers who are knowledgeable & friendly. mechanics who know what they are doing and can think creatively to fix unexpected issues, and a great price. For us, they fixed a bad fuel filler pipe. Before our appointment, the manager help with looking our car so we could show him the issue and for them answer our questions. They quoted an excellent price. On the day of the appointment, they took our car in quickly (on time). The repair had a little hiccup (our after-market part required a little 'tweaking' to make it work). The mechanic John made it work. Just excellent excellent work. They could have said they couldn't complete the job, but they made it work. And, the front-end managers seem to be just 'good people'. Getting to know them a bit (while in the waiting room) made for good conversation and connects you someone new. Some people may not want to talk too much. They were very personable. It was good to get to know them & vice versa. --- Overall, an excellent experience and service, the way it should be delivered to any customer!

I m a few weeks late to posting but one day I had parked at Maple Lawn Shopping Center (about five min away from the shop.) and my car wouldn t start. I have jumper cables and couldn t get it started with the help of another person and their truck. AAA gave me a two hour window to arrive, totally understandable. It just happened to be one of those rare days when timing was important. and I was going to be late. I go to CJ s for service anyway and decided to call to see if they could help. Kyle sent a mechanic with a jump box immediately, we got my car started and I drove back to the shop and got a new battery. Thank you so much !!!

The service was great from ordering parts to installation. I came in with a leaky tube and was heading home with a fixed tire in less than 20 minutes

They took forever to plug one tire. They also managed to lose a specialty chrome valve stem cap that was part of a set of 4. And they neglected to tell me. I wanted to have both front tires checked for balance. I was informed that the charge would be $43, just for checking the balance. You have to joking. The bill total would have been $73. I said forget it and thanks for losing my valve stem cap too. All these tire places are rip-offs.

Always great customer service!!! They searched for cheaper rims for my car and found a guy that could fix my original rim. Above and beyond! He could have easily told me I needed a new one, for $200.00 more than fixing the rim. I appreciate all that they did for me!

I needed a new set of tires along with back brakes so that my vehicle would pass inspection. The manager on duty found coupons and discounts to help with the bill. He went above why he had to do and I was very happy with the final price.The tires are amazing! It s amazing what a difference a set of new tires make when driving!CJ Tire has always served me well!Thank you !Holly S

W/O an appointment they put our new tires on and had us out of there within an hour. Super nice & professional. Great place for tires and fixing other car problems. They give competitive quotes (I ve compared online).

I had 4 new tires installed and the price was fair. I received the free wheel alignment check and was advised that the front wheels were out of alignment which I didn't actually believe since I had only had an alignment done by Lexus a short time ago. I opted to get the alignment but I am not sure why. Big difference in handling. No more dealer alignments for me!

CJ's tire Kimberton is our go to mechanic. They're consistent quality and reasonable prices keep us coming back every time. I wish more places gave the quality care and service these guys do.
