Have used Longwood for over 5 years mostly for state inspections, oil changes and minor stuff. Recently had an exhaust leak and was charged $900 for a flex pipe AND a proposed $750 future charge for tailpipe/muffler. I contacted Blitz Auto in Kennett for a second opinion and was kindly sent by Blitz to Jennings Exhaust in Oxford as "they specialize in exhausts." The $750 became $400. The $900 was quoted by Jennings as "we probably could have cut and welded in a repair for under $200." Longwood certainly did not cut a customer any favors like Blitz did. Back to the Buyer Beware. YMMV but I now know who my future mechanic is.Services: Exhaust, Tire rotations, Auto emissions testing

I was in a pinch, and Steve fit in an appointment for me and finished up with my car extremely fast. The prices were great, and Steve provided excellent customer service that turned my bad day around very quickly! I took a shot in the dark with going to this business and I m really glad I did. I will definitely go back in the future!

Great job on my repairs. Good service too. Owner John Ross spent the time to find the best deal for tires for our Subaru Outback. Love them. Also fixed the AC in my Ford truck which hasn't worked for 4 yrs. I'll be thanking them every day it's above 90. Great job.

When I found out I had a mega problem with my exhaust, I immediately started researching a place to take my car and I took note of this place after reading numerous positive reviews. Excellent customer service and repair work! John is pleasant, respectful, and polite...he understood my situation, having an old car and not wanting to put a lot of money into it. He discussed all steps with me and explained to me exactly what work my car needed. He got it all done in a timely manner and prices are about as reasonable as one could get! A week later, a new (more minor) problem arose...I dropped my car off with him again, told me he *might* be able to look at it on a Thursday (we called on a Tuesday afternoon), but by early afternoon on Thursday, it was all done and again the price was very reasonable! I am so appreciative, it's hard to find a good mechanic!

In the middle of my workday I experienced a flat and needed to have the tire replaced to drive the 40 miles home. Drove past 2 other tire places to get to Longwood Tire & Service because of great reviews. I received the best service possible. I felt very safe and trusted the service. Thank you!!

My second visit to Longwood, needed tire repair. My first time was for new tires for my wife's car. Service was prompt, price was very good and John's tire recommendation was right. My tire was repaired for a slow leak on this, my second visit, and again, service was prompt, and reasonable. I appreciate mechanics that are knowledgeable, professional and fair with pricing, and this is why I will return for my auto service needs to Longwood Tire. Thanks John.

Places like this are the reason why I support local businesses whenever possible. John provided excellent and honest service for my vehicle, not to mention that he s friendly and courteous as well. If you need any repairs or maintenance for your vehicle you will not be disappointed here!

Very personalized service. Dropped me off at work while they took care of the car. They had to order a part; the emissions and the yearly inspection was done the next day. Very courteous repairman. Will seek all car care there.
