Excellent company! I was in an accident on interstate 78 and was towed to Loves by another company that never stated they weren t AAA until the car was on the back of their rollback and Joe Mays towing was calling to let me know they were on their way. The gentleman from Joe Mays told me exactly where the next exit was and that I were to call them and AAA once I got there. He then towed the car to the destination it needed to be. They are top notch when it comes to customer service, honesty and professionalism!!!HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I was connected to them randomly through AAA when I needed my Audi a7 towed. they showed up promptly even though it was after midnight on a week day. they helped with my battery issue then towed my car to its destination. they were very friendly, and mindful not to scratch the bumper on the ground while loading and unloading. I am very happy with my experience with them.

Just want to thank them for changing the tire on our pickup that was quickly going flat. Had us back on 81 and headed the 2 hours home in no time and charged us next to nothing. So appreciate you guys!!!

Excellent service and FAST! We were stuck with a bad battery 100 s of miles from home. The new battery was delivered and replaced within 20 minutes!! Thank you for helping our vacation get off to a good start . High Five!

about 10 months ago, this company broke the side of my range rover's door. the person who did so lied and said it was because of the weather, but range rover themselves- along with 2 other experts who have looked at my car since- have confirmed he just handled my car incorrectly, and broke it. when this happened the worker told me the company would fix it free of charge, and told me to text/call his manager. upon doing so, the manager told me that he just ordered the part to fix my car, and that it would reliever the following week. he said that after that, we could set an appointment to fix it. he ghosted me for almost 6 months. no response to multiple texts or calls. i reside in georgia, and was going back for the summer- so i showed up in hopes to get my car fixed. when i got there, as a young teenage girl, i was in a room that blocked out cell service- unable to make any calls, text, or connect to the internet. there were multiple men there, giving me dirty looks. the manager lied straight to my face and told me the part needed to fix my door has been on back order so they did not have the part and couldn't fix my car. he offered to give me $100 for the part, and $50 for the labor, claiming that's what any auto shop or dealership would charge me to fix that. wanting to leave this incredibly unsafe and weird situation i took the check and left, and went back home to georgia. of course- no car place in the nation would fix my car door for $150. every place i went to quoted me $1,000+ to fix the side of my door. when i came back up to pennsylvania, i had my dad reach out (since it's very obvious they don't respect women and like to scam young girls) in hopes they would do the honorable thing and fix my car. since they had given me $150- which didn't even cover the part- i was happy to pay for the part anyway, and just asked for it to be installed. since that's what they promised in the first place. they refused to do so, or to help in any way, shape, or form. i highly don't recommend going here, unless you like having parts of your car broken, being ghosted, and being scammed!

Amazing service!!! Being stuck on the side of the road is never fun...especially when it's with two young kids! Being from Canada we were not familiar with the area. We were so relieved to find Joe Mays towing and Nelson who showed up no more than 10 minutes after our call. Beyond the tow, the team at Joe Mays prioritized taking care of family, ensuring that my family was safe; driving us to a hotel, helping with car rental etc...full service! I really can't thank them enough for helping us in such a stressful situation, going over and beyond what I would expect from a towing company. Big shout out to Nelson...thanks for everything.

Donovan went above and beyond and completely saved us mid-road trip.On a long drive from NY to NC with my 80 year old parents, I stopped for gas at Love s and my brake pedal sank to the floor on the way out. I limped it to a parking lot and though we were grateful we didn t crash on the highway, had no idea what we d do next. My mom had just gotten out of the hospital a few days before and was still recovering.My dad saw Joe May s and went over to ask for help.a) Donovan walked over with him and crawled under the car to check the brake lines, in a gas station parking lotb) I followed him back to the shop and he immediately got it in a liftc) He diagnosed it, ordered the new brake line and fittings, got the work done, and bled the brakes twice with test drives to make sure they were safed) Just under 3 hours from our breakdown, we were back on the road driving to our AirbnbVery grateful to this shop, and particularly Donovan who did such a great job talking to my dad, letting him stay and watch the repairs, and for being so proactive (or as my dad called him, a go-getter ) in making sure the repair was done as quickly and safely as possible.

Broken down in my own garage so, I placed a call to AAA. Joe May s Towing to the rescue! Timely, friendly and professional. I m sorry I didn t get the driver s name because he should be recognized for his service. Highly recommend the service. Would definitely use again hope I don t have to! You can t go wrong.

CALL JOE MAYS IF YOU NEED SOMEONE TRUSTWORTHY! I am so very grateful to Joe Mays!! I am traveling by myself with a 3 y/o and 3 m/o and my car battery died at Hershey Park. My husband called Joe Mays from out of state while I wrangled our boys and they assured him they would take care of us. Sure enough, Randy showed up to rescue us, helped me load the boys and their car seats in the cabin of his tow truck, dropped us off at our hotel, and took the car back to the shop. Just heard from them this morning. We were worried that it might be the alternator, but they ran their charging test and said all we need is a new battery! Honest & trustworthy, AND they are sending someone to pick us up so that I don t need to walk on the road with my boys. I am grateful beyond words. I can tell it s a business full of fathers, husbands, and brothers. Thank you for being my village, guys!!Service: Auto battery replacement

I needed my vehicle towed via my AAA membership, and Chad & Randy from Joe May's Towing both did a fantastic job throughout the entire process. My vehicle is low to the ground from factory, so they brought their specialized truck to help get my vehicle on the truck bed. They were very careful to help ensure my front bumper didn't scrape. They do great work and I would recommend them to anyone.

My husband, step son and I were on our way back from a road trip and had some trouble with our van. The location of the shop is super convenient to get on and off the highway. The guys working we re able to pull the van right in and ordered the parts to replace our coil pack and a spark plug. Gave us an awesome price and was in and out in a couple hours! Thanks so much to Joe May s and I would highly recommend them!

Car broke a front strut, called AAA roadside assistance and they sent out joe mays towing. Very fast response time and very professional tow team. Guy took very good care of hooking up and towing our car. Didn t speed or drive reckless while our car was on the roll back. When he dropped the car at our house he was very careful on putting it down. Even helped us discover the strut broke in half. Tow guy even kept us up to date while loading and unloading the car. Will definitely use them when I need a tow again. Very satisfied with the service we received from them.

Joe Mays driver Shawn was sent by AAA to tow our vehicle today. He was amazing. It was a difficult situation and he handle it professionally, taking great car of our car and never gave up. He was friendly and comforting at a stressful time. Big shout out to the Shawn and Joe Mays towing, you rock!

My girlfriend and I were on a road trip and heading back home when the wheel to my car nearly fell off. Luckily we were right by an exit and found Joe Mays close by. We gave them a call and even though they were about to close they still decided to help us. They stayed after hours for us and fixed my car in about 30 minutes. We truly don t know what we would have done if they weren t so willing to help us in our time of need. A huge thank you is in order and we couldn t be more grateful to have such a helpful shop take care of us.

Had a tire lose pressure while on the highway. Pulled into station and they immediately checked it for us and found a screw in the tire. Screw also broke the sensor and they replaced that for us while patching the tire. Great service!Service: TiresService: Tires

Responded quickly on the weekend when I needed my motorcycle hauled to a shop. I called several other tow service companies that wouldn't haul a motorcycle. Joe May's came through for me.

The folks at Joe May bailed me out in an emergency. We had two tires on a motorhome damaged on I81 recently. After several phone calls it appeared that we'd be stuck looking for a hotel and service in a day or two...hopefully. Then I called Joe May - they said they could get the two tires i needed (unusual 10 ply LT tires) in an hour, and could take care of it that afternoon! I was disabled for less than two hours, then back on the road! They really stood out for their care, and for their willingness to interrupt their day to help me continue on my trip. I highly recommend them!

A sincere thank you to the entire crew at Joe Mays. I was on my way from NC to NY when my truck broke down at Exit 90 Loves. I called the local Chevy dealership and a very nice lady suggested I call Joe Mays. Within minutes of having my truck towed to their garage, they had the exact diagnosis. Unfortunately, due to the time of day, they couldn t get what I needed that day. However, they assured me it would be in by 9 and would have me back in the road by 10:00. Exactly how it worked out and my truck was perfect when they were done. Very friendly, thorough and understanding of my situation. Thanks guys, I m very grateful!

The owner and the employees are friendly and qualified mechanics and also In towing.I've had large and small repairs done on many vehicles and always get good information(no stories).They fix em correctly the first time promptly and for very fair rates. My car was towed to your service station at approximately 3:00 pm from Route 81 N as directed by the PA State Police. It was a horrible experience to have all the functions of my car fail while I was driving on a major highway, side by side with wall to wall 18 wheel trucks!When we met you, I had concerns about how the repair could be done, after seeing the mess in your service bays, but you assured me that you would repair the car and that the alternator was warranted. After two hours, I paid you in full, in good faith, and even gave your guy a $20 tip! You claimed to have installed a 'new' alternator.We were back on the road shortly after 5 pm. Within ONE HOUR!!!! The exact same problem happened again!! This time I was on Route 78, an hour away from your service station. Another PA Trooper arrived and towed us 5 miles further north to Lehigh Valley Hyundai. It was nearly 7 pm before we got to the dealership. I had to stay in a hotel and then the next morning we had ANOTHER NEW alternator installed because YOUR ALTERNATOR was only putting out 6 volts of charge!! AFTER ONLY ONE HOUR OF USE!!After disputing your original $504.93 charge for a defective alternator, you refused to refund my credit card! Your alternator functioned for 1 hour!I'm in my second month of hassle trying to resolve this.It was a nightmare scenario that everyone dreads.YOU COULD HAVE RESTORED MY CREDIT CARD OF THE $504.93 FOR YOUR DEFECTIVE ALTERNATOR!! BUT NO! ENJOY YOUR MONEY. KARMA...WATCH OUT FOR IT!

Our check engine light and the traction control system (TCS) came on this past Sunday right before leaving for our camping trip. Had it checked out at our local AutoZone prior to hooking the camper up to our vehicle. Code came back as a P0301 (misfire in cylinder 1) and the employee there told me that it was safe to drive as long the light(s) were not blinking. We assumed it was just bad gas from the week prior and it would go away eventually. Two days ago, another light came on, the VTM-4 light, and stayed on. I was starting to feel uncomfortable driving our vehicle since then. I had seen an employee here at the KOA campground and asked if they knew a garage that could help us out. The employee referred me to Joe May's across the street (within walking distant - quite happy about that). I took our vehicle over yesterday and had them re-scan it. Still the same code. I asked if they could fix it the next day in the morning. The one employee said yes. He took my information and ordered the parts for my vehicle. I dropped my vehicle off at 8 am this morning and received a phone call within 1.5 hours that it was ready. Lights are no longer displaying.Thank you so much for taking care of my vehicle as quickly as you did!(They accepted my AAA discount.)
