I had the windshield in my Tesla replaced here. When I got it back the windshield squeaked horribly and I had to bring it back to be reinstalled.Fast forward to a month later the inside cabin camera on my car was not working so I made a service appointment at Tesla.They found the camera was not connected and the housing for the camera was not installed correctly when the windshield was replaced.I called safelite to be reimbursed for the fees Tesla charged me to fix the problem that was caused by safelite. They told me I should have made a service appointment with them first and refused to reimburse me for the 100 repairs that they caused.If I have an issue with a camera in my car I m not calling the windshield company I m calling the dealer. This was just a sorry excuse to not pay for the mistakes they made.I do have to add I did not deal with the manager at Safelite Johnstown but the 1-800 number for Safelite. The manager at this store was nothing but helpful and friendly but I do not recommended ever using Safelite when they don t own up to their mistakes.

If I could negative stars I would. The store manager is as unprofessional as they come. He uses foul language with customers and is just down right rude. I have dealt with more professional people at the McDonalds drive thru. The store is not open the hours that are posted, I had to make multiple stops at the location to actually catch someone. Today, I waited for nearly 20 minutes for someone to come to the window. I would never recommend this store to anyone.

Booked an appt online for the next day (that showed avail time) dropped my vehicle off 1 hr early, 5hrs later still did not hear anything from tech so ride 40 mins back to Safelite to see my vehicle has not even moved. The gentleman at the counter said they work on dropoffs in between appts, I explained to him that I did have an appt and showed him the confirmation text and email. He said this is considered a drop off to which I asked them how do I make an appointment he then shows me the exact website I scheduled my appt on in the first place. Just wondering what the sense in scheduling an appt online is for if you are considered a dropoff instead of an appointment, makes no sense to me

Very Professional and courteous staff. From front office to installation, all around very satisfied. Completley protected my vehicle during windshield replacement which was very important to me with nice clean results. Polite with a quick replacement time. *I did make an appointment prior so the windshield was ready and waiting by the time I got there*.Overall a Great team at this location. Made the situation not as bad for having to replace the windshield out of pocket..A+

I highly recommend the Johnstown office for any windshield replacement needs. The technician, William, that came to my house did an excellent job. He was courteous and it took slightly over an hour. They have a very nice staff. They do great work! I'd recommend them to anyone. They offer you coffee and refreshment as well. They are very fast only took them 45 minutes to put a complete windshield in my van. Defiantly recommend them,

Our Technician, William, ID#: 1832-253, was wonderful. Pleasant, competent, professional, and on time. Went about his business with confidence, cleaned everything up afterward, even cleaned all the car windows as a courtesy. Safelite is fortunate to have such a stellar young man on their service team, and I would highly recommended him and the Safelite company any time you are in need of an auto glass replacement.Service: Auto windshield replacement

I had a bad leak in the rear of my truck and I dreaded getting this taken care of. I realized I needed to get it taken care of as spring was approaching so I called Safelight. I had an amazing experience with this facility. When I called I got an apt. the very next day. My leak was fixed before lunch and they did not charge me for the work they completed. Said it was so minor that no charge was needed. I highly recommend this facility.

Came in to get my window motor fixed and here it was a 25 dollar switch instead of window motor. The manager was so nice. He had one of his guys tear it apart while I waited and found it was just the window switch, put it all back together for free what an awesome group of guys. A crack on the driver's side of my windshield was to be repaired. The guy "fixed" a chip that had already been filled by the dealership, and he said that he didn't even notice the LARGE chip and crack on the other side. I had made sure I listed the exact location on the crack through the appointment notes. The guy told me that I would be fully refunded because the chip can't be repaired. That was Monday, it's now Friday and I'm still missing the $109 dollars that I had prepaid for the appointment.Service: Auto windshield repair

I set up an at home chip repair. Unfortunately, the windshield cracked while the tech was fixing the chip. He told me that his boss would call me Monday so I could arrange to get my windshield replaced. He didn't contact me until Wednesday after I left a review from the email safelite sent to me. He called me and was giving me prices for a OEM which was too much and then said an off brand was cheaper. (I had already quoted earlier on the website for a new windshield at $365..) He told me that out the door they could do a new windshield for $407 and that included coming to my house for the repair. When I looked at the appointment, the price was over $500 dollars. I cancelled my appointment at this store and scheduled with the Duncansville store who honored the quoted price and didn't try to cheat me out of over $100 dollars. It's great business practice to break someone's windshield and then try to screw them over on the price of a new one. I will continue to use the Duncansville store if I or any of my family members have any glass issues but will stay far away from the Johnstown office.

They went above and beyond for me and my Jeep. I will recommend them to anyone! I had been stressed for weeks trying to find the root of a water leak problem and the manager Chris and technician Doug took extra time and steps to pinpoint where the issue was, when other companies could not, such a positive person. Called earlier in the day concerned because my seal had worked itself loose from my windshield for no reason (and at no fault of anyone it just happened) as I was worried the windshield would fall out. Phil talked me off the ledge and advised they would be able to put the seal back in if I could stop in after work which I did. Phil and the technician were extremely friendly and helpful and had me in and out in no time at all. Would (and have) highly recommend Safelite!!

Extremely professional. The guy I talked to on the phone when I scheduled was great, and the tech they sent to replace my windshield even vacuumed my car out. I didn't even have to be there, the windshield was just magically repaired when I got home from work.

PLEASE PLEASE DONOT USE THEM Just got my car back after the damage that safelite did to it and find out that one of there other techs broke the plastic piece that hides the camera this plase is horrible. If I could take stars away I would I had tech william he took my beautiful car and destroyed it damaged the exterior around the windshield the hood the backs of the side mirrors and a trim pice on my door but they claim he didn't do all that I know my vechical and them marks were not there so if you go with them take many pictures and he also left my whole car a mess inside dirt on the dash the seat come on safe lite your commercial claims your the best but clearly your guy was a big let down this day .They claim they will fix around the windshield but come on safelite your guy did all this damage fix my vechical back to how it was before you technician messed it up

They were great professional and I had issues with my bank card but they were very helpful and understanding as I waited for my bank 2 fix issue which after almost 25min of w8g on a customer rep and another 20min resolving issue they were nothing but patient and did a quality job

Fantastic. The Johnstown office did a perfect job fixing the stone nick in my windshield. While the repair was setting the tech washed all my Windows inside & out & vacuumed the interior of my car. Covered by insurance

If there was an option to give no stars I would. Corporate will be hearing about my experience and the names of the people responsible for it. First off I got there at my correct appointment time, the doors were locked, the sign said OPEN and no one was answering the phone. Had to call the other non-local office to track down the manager which was ridiculous. He ran to the "bank" and forgot to switch the sign to CLOSED but this was DURING NORMAL HOURS??? Then when the manager arrived, he was rude and sarcastic like he was annoyed. If you don't like your job buddy, go find a new one. Also he insinuated I was less intelligent by saying I wasn't "up to speed". Well guess what, you locked both doors and left the store sign to OPEN, I'm pretty sure you're the one thats not up to speed. *By the way the number of times this person used my name was ridiculous and creepy. I don't know this person haha. Also the insult he made towards me was because I put my keys back in my bag after he walked out and we met because evidently he wanted them right then and there but I wanted to unlock the car for him since the lock is sometimes hard and so I put them in my bag and started to walk to my car to unlock it. Apparently I'm supposed to read minds and know he wanted the keys 5 seconds after saying hello WHICH BY THE WAY it says in the order confirmation email that they are SUPPOSED to show you what your order total and sum up is BEFORE they start. NOT ask for the keys right away. Then as I was sitting in the waiting room, the manager came back in and told me that someone ELSE was going to finish the job and gave me the nastiest look ever and slammed the garage waiting room door so hard it could have broke. HAHAHA I think its so funny how a man thinks he can act macho towards a female but can't towards another man because I KNOW he would of acted different if my boyfriend was sitting next to me. BY THE WAY, not scared buddy. Some of us are liscensed. Then a nice guy finally came out, I paid and left. On the way home, my passenger door wasn't shut the whole way and was wobbling to the point where I got concerned it would fly open so I reached over and pulled it shut while driving, my steering wheel was unlocked and my rear view mirror was facing the ceiling. BY THE WAY, if my door would of hit someones car SAFELITE would be getting sued right now. Can't wait to call corporate on their next open business day!!!! -AmberP.S. There was also another girl in the waiting room so I asked her if she was having a good experience. She told me they were supposed to come to her but made her come to them. She had to drop what she was doing which was WORKING to be able to have the appointment.

They replaced the front heated windshield in my 2014 KIA SORENTO. Today I'm taking my son's vehicle to get his replaced due to a rock hit and nasty crack. They do excellent work. I will entrust any of my vehicles with Safelite's professional standards! :-) This Past year of 2018 they replaced my son's Dodge Advenger windshield and did an excellent job!!

I had my wind shield replaced a year ago and I find a crack just recently about a week ago and it stemmed from the bottom of the windshield not being placed in properly which I had not noticed at first...they told me to bring it in that they can inspect it and fix it I go they then say they can't that it will still cost more money after they say it had to have been from my car getting hit or an ice scrapper which I never use and that it's not a stress crack which can only be strait and occurs within a few weeks of service...i got a hold of a manager which took almost a week of b's phone calls to be told he can lower the cost but they are a billion dollar corporation they should do the right thing but they don't they take the money and run I say shame on them...never again with my experience...there are other ones out there...dont waste the money...may get an attorney over itIt's not new damage...it is from NOT being put in properly...but you guys keep sticking to that story...mabe 1 day you can live up to your reputation...and how about that amount off of another repair I was never told on how much it was ...guess that was a lie too right?
