Petrick's is the best. I've been going there for years. Jeremy worked on my cars when he was working for someone else. I've had the opportunity to watch him grow and eventually have his beautiful business. So proud of him.

These people went above and beyond to help me. They first looked for the part. for my car. And because it was a BMW everybody said I had to go to a dealer. I will never go to a bmw dealer again. If I have a choice. The mechanics know what they're doing. They do. what they do well. There is nothing better than Petrick!!!

Needed to have a wheel bearing and brakes done on my car. The first time I have taken my car there. The shop isn t much, but that is mom and pop old school. They got the job done on time and for far less than it would have cost me to take it to one of the bigger shops or national chains. I will be bringing my cars back in the future.

My 2016 Dodge RAM had been diagnosed as more or less 'DOA'. I had been told by some very good techs that it needed a ring job and that would entail essentially a complete rebuild or worse, a new engine. In very rough numbers it would be a $10,000 (minimum) fix and possibly more than the truck was worth. In true desperation I took it to Jeremy at Petrick Automotive for a 'last ditch' second opinion. Jeremy offered to have a look at it because he felt that these engines dont often need new rings. He really took his time and did a thoroughly professional assessment of my baby and found that it was not rings but a bad camshaft. He was very up front about the expense and took a good deal of time laying out the repair process, what it would cost and what my alternatives were. He even priced those options out for me in some detail. I gave him the go ahead and he took it from there. It was not a quick process but he told me right at the start that it wouldnt be. He kept me updated throughout and, as extensive as this job was, he only missed his promise date by two days. He tested it several times and turned over to me a truck that has meant a great deal to me and which was now running like it was new. Ive had it for almost three weeks and (knock on wood) it's been running great. Jeremy even arranged for a follow up appointment after a few hundred miles so he could reassess the sturdiness of his repair. He showed me the defective parts and described the work he did in detail--even to the point of identifying and rectifying a previous repair that had been dome improperly. It wasnt a 'cheap' repair but it was less than half what I thought Id end up paying. I just cannot commend the courtesy and professionalism of Jeremy and the team at Petrick Automotive Service highly enough. I would not hesitate for a moment to take any of my vehicles to him for service or repairs. In an age when 'scam' seems to be the watch word when dealing with almost any kind of service or repair provider, Petrick Automotive stands out as a rapidly disappearing example of how things used to be in the 'good old days' when trust and honesty were the rule and when you could count on your neighborhood mechanic to take care of your car as if it were his own. If you have any kind of automotive repair need from the very simple to the very complex, this is where you want to go. Thanks Jeremy!

Great customer service, price and follow up. There was a bit of a backlog in work which led to a wait for the repair, but I attribute that to the excellent service provided.

Very good service. When I saw the price to get what I need to get fix on my 2002 f150 I think it was wrong. They had my truck fix fast and the shop check up on me after I got my truck back. Very thankful

Petrick was able to diagnose the issue and knew when it had to go to the dealer instead for programming. They worked great with our warranty folks to get the job done! I think these guys are wonderful at what they do. As I hear from everyone. I actually initially just popped in a week ago randomly and was concerned with my one tire. Jeremy stopped what he was doing and helped me, he took the one tire I took off to do a pressure test to see where the leak was coming from. He let me know there is no leak and that they were dry rotted. Which we looked at together on the tires and pointed out. He was completely open about the process of looking for a tire (s) and trying to give me the best deal. He also squeezed in an oil change I requested the same day I dropped it off for just the tires. I'm a single mom to five kids, I was in a rush the day I dropped it off to get back to my kids and because by bus it takes two buses to get back to him and the one bus that goes by my house stops running at 4:00. So even though he was going to do the oil change in a little bit he quickly got my car in to do the oil change so I could just take one bus to get my car and go home to my kids who were going to be off the bus soon. I didn't even have to explain to him all the details but he was very understanding that I needed the car back at the last moment. His professionalism and customer service are great. Although after I got the car there was a clanking and it turned out the bolts weren't torqued or tightened down on my wheel. I'm not sure if it's dangerous to drive around like that but I came by 2 days later and they tighten them down. The loud noise immediately stopped.

They were excellent and very thorough when checking the vehicle. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking. Prices are very reasonable. I still feel this way they are a great bunch there. Jeremy went out of his way to come and check our car when it was down and all that was wrong was the battery died he jumped it for us. Definitely going to keep going there

Jeremy and his guys have done excellent work to my silverado. They are very good I've never had the same issue twice. If you need a mechanic Petricks should definitely be a consideration.

If you are in the Johnstown area and need mechanical work done on your vehicle, please PLEASE consider Petrick Automotive Repair 2.0. The CT needed new rear coil springs, timing belt, andddd an inspection. Being a student on a very tight budget, I decided to get some quotes and chose Petrick. I was slightly biased toward him because my family took our vehicles to his dad s shop growing up and always had a great experience, and Jeremy and his team didn t disappoint! They were easy to work with and scheduling was a breeze.Jeremy takes the time to explain the issues he finds, takes the parts and shows you what needs done or how it works, and answers all the questions. Safety is his priority, which was evident when part of my coil spring fell out of my car while driving it one day, days before my appointment. I called him not knowing what to do, and he had me bring it over right then and there to determine how much fell off and how much was left.Outside of running his business, he has also served as a volunteer firefighter in our area and is committed to giving back in the community. Cannot recommend enough.The car is back to running, full speed ahead (ahem).. but the best part? A great place to deal with for quality work. Excellent customer service theough and through. A while back my parents car was in for inspection and some repairs, at the time we also had a family emergency. My mom went and paid for the repairs and when we were done at the hospital Jeremy and his crew had her car turned around and cleaned off waiting for or her to pick up that night.More recently my son had 4 tires put on and an inspection done. Jeremy messaged me a few days later to see how the car was doing.I could not recommend them more!! Keep up the great work Jeremy and crew!!

Petrick Auto did a great job on repairing my car. They repaired a coolant leak, and replaced the water pump.Jeremy was polite and prompt in getting me a quote for repair. I was very happy with not only my service but the time it took for my vehicle. Driving to work one day I noticed my brakes were barely working. I called Petrick 2.0 and Jeremy came to my place of work and picked up my vehicle. He was there within an hour of me calling him. He replaced my brake lines and changed my oil, and my vehicle was done the next day! Price was also reasonable! Definitely recommend Petrick Automotive Repair 2.0 if you want good service and in a timely manner!

I've taken my vehicle there for a few things, but most recently I took my Ford Explorer in to get the exhaust system replaced. Jeremy and his team did an excellent job and even texted me a few days later to follow up to make sure everything was working smoothly. When I arrived to the garage to pay and pick up my vehicle, Jeremy showed me a diagram on his computer of which exact parts were replaced and explained the cost thoroughly. In all, excellent service.

Great service and great price.. Very professional. Got a tune up for my 07 ford f150 and exhaust manifold done.. They did a great job on both.. They also fixed my high beeam and low beam connectors since they where bad replaced fuse Wich I had no clue because I had replaced them awhile back 'ill be going back for more work in the near future..
