Absolutely wonderful experience at this location on Monday earlier this week.I worked with Eric, he was very helpful and quick with his replies. He didn't waste any time answering my questions and keeping in contact about the whole process.I totaled my car last month and needed a new one. Searching around I struggled to find an affordable used vehicle in good condition, I was very happy with my options here!My new car is doing great, making me super happy every second I drive it and keeping me safe on the roads.I will definitely return to this dealership when it's time to upgrade! For my first PA car purchase I am very happy!

Overall the communication was great. My transmission took a little bit of time to come in but it was nice to be kept in the loop. Once I finally got my car back I was told the manager drove it to his house and back to test everything out. This would be fine if he replaced the gas he used. Instead it was returned completely empty.

Ricky was phenomenal, very nice and did whatever to help me out. They gave me a ride to the movies while I waited on my car and the driver was great also. You can tell that specific Honda dealership has good people working there. Definitely recommend!

Highly recommend! Eric Josh and Larry were all Superb, pricing and process taking my 2020Ford ranger on trade for a higher mpg forester. Looked at 12 cars at five other dealers. This place was the best for friendly fast and financing got me a great rate

AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Just putting this out there #1 Cochran Honda in Johnstown are a bunch of crooks! Bought a car there June of 2022, it was a year old with 13,400 miles on it. Certified used Honda, 30 something strict checks to certify it according to this dealership. Since I bought it just over a year and a half ago-I ve been complaining about unusual tire wear, specifically the rear passenger tire. That tire goes completely bald twice now with less that 20,000 miles on it. Been aligned twice now-per the dealership recommendation. The car now has 57,000 miles on it-I ve owned the car less than 2 years, put 43,000 miles on it and it needs a 3rd set of tires now. Also, the rear passenger tire is completely bald again! Best part-when I bought the car, I was shown a car fax with a noted accident on the rear passenger quarter panel of which I was assured was cosmetic damage only. This dealership has repeatedly blown me off every time I ve been in there with this problem. They always say, well it s the roads here, cars are always out of alignment. They even went as far as to tell me that I make too many right turns !!! After yesterday and yet another-here s a bill for $1000+ dollars and your car isn t really fixed but it s good for now episode, we were asked not to come back to this dealership. These people are criminals! I ve spent more than $2500 fixing this issue with this car over the last 21 months! All the while still paying a $700/month car payment! Additionally with the top of the line warranty! There is something wrong with this car and they won t make it right! Don t trust these people! Go somewhere else! I won t say it s Honda-I think it is really just these people who operate this dealership. Regardless, I m taking this up the chain. I will have this issue corrected-I will not be shafted! They will make it right, if I have to go to court!

My experience purchasing a car from #1 Cochran Honda Johnstown was excellent. I worked with Rich Berkey through the entire purchase. He was fast to answer all my questions and helped out as much as he could. I would definitely recommend Rich. Not only did we get a great deal, I was able to test drive and look over the car without feeling pressured. Overall it was the best car buying experience we've had and the customer service was excellent.

I was impressed by how quickly the whole transaction took. Rich had everything ready for me to sign and I was good to go in less than an hour. They went out of their way to get me the color of car I wanted. All in all, it was a very nice experience!

I was treated very kindly and in a very short time. I was shown to the lounge to have something to eat and drink while I waited. It was a very comfortable setting and the time went by quickly. It seemed like in no time at all my van was serviced and ready for me.

Took my car in for tire rotation, oil change and inspection. Called at 11:30 and they got me in at 2 and returned my car in time for me to get to a 4:30 appointment. Saved me the cost of the tire rotation, advising me the better tires were already in place. Thank you.

I debated on providing a review or not. The longer i think about this, the more upset i get.I reached out to this dealership 1.5 years ago about a new civic type r. I saw they had one and called. I was informed that it was sold. I asked if they had a wait list for them and was told no. I asked if i could be put on a list for the next one they received. I was assured i would get first shot ar the next one. I stopped in at dealership April 2023 and discussed with my salesman. He said he was watching for it and as soon as allocation was in, he'd call me. I saw online one was in transit to their dealership just before Christmas. I called and left 4 voice-mail messages. Never one returned call. Usually, the car would shift from in transir to at dealership. It just disappeared.Why didn't they have the respect to just call me and let me know the situation? This is not how a good business is conducted.Additionally, whe at dealership in April, i asked several times if they wanted a deposit to secure the vehicle. Salesman said no, it's absolutely yours.I'm very disappointed and upset with the entire situation.I would suggest using a different dealership.Still, to this day, never a return call.

The women at the Sevice desk are fantastic they are honest and I trust them. More importantly my mechanic husband trusts their work as well. He is retired now and no longer works on cars. Thank you Cochran for such an awesome service and comfort while I waited.

I took the Ridgeline up for a recall on the camera harness and was told it could take up to 2 hours. I was going to wait but I live less than a mile just past Bigdogz Grill and I was going to walk but I was offered a ride down and when the truck was done it was dropped off at my home so great service. The only thing that would have been nice is some places wash the vehicle before it's picked up.

I recently had an oil change and inspection of my CRV at Cochran Honda. I have to say that I've always had a good experience there. I usually deal with Ricki Richardson at the front desk, and she is always very polite, helpful, and upfront about any work that is done or recommended. Customer service at Cochran Honda is top notch!

Friendly, accommodating and fast but...Edit: 11/14/23. My review is changing. I financed a car, an older one. One month limited warranty (this is probably where I messed up). Before I bought it, I test drove it. The brakes were awful. They were jumping. No problem, we'll take care of that they said. I bought the car on a Thursday and they got it serviced the following week. I talked to my salesman and the service center and I made clear what my complaints were and my complaints were in text messages. I said I needed the brake system fixed. The fumes from the exhaust and loud muffler and that the car pulls to the right and left when driving and the brakes.They serviced my car. Even gave me a loaner car and then brought my car to me. Told me everything was safe and I'm good to go. Put new rear rotors on but that they couldn't find anything else wrong. I thought wow, this is such great service!!I WAS WRONG! The brakes seemed better, at least not jumping anymore. But the muffler noise, fumes and steering were still the same. I immediately contacted them and was supposed to be followed up with the next day.I NEVER HEARD FROM ANYONE AGAIN.First, let's start with the service center. Number 1; I DON'T KNOW WHO CANT RECOGNIZE THE AWFUL SMELL OF SULPHUR! These are certified mechanics,?!!! Why would you try to tell me everything was fine?Number 2; thanks for putting "new" rotors on but left brake pads that were worn down to nothing. But I'm "safe" right? New rotors were never put on.I guess they couldn't hear the LOUD. muffler either?!The car was sold to me with a inspection sticker and emissions sticker only done 400 or so miles ago. I'll be pulling the station number off that.I haven't even put 200 miles on this car and only 30 days in, I have to replace a gasket in the exhaust system, new brakes and get the steering/suspension fixed.They could have at least said, this is what's wrong. It's not covered under warranty and this is how much it would cost. But they didn't. They said everything is good. I'm safe.My guess is they didn't want me to find out before the 7 day return policy was up and end up returning the car.I am so upset and disappointed. This was my first time financing a vehicle. I traded in my car that I owed nothing on. I thought I could trust a local, large dealership. I would think they had integrity and cared about their products and customers. I was wrong!! Now I'm stuck with monthly payments on top of paying for costly repairs only 30 days in.Buyer beware!
