I took a 2002 Rendezvous to this place to get a headgasket replaced. It took 2 months to get the car in, and then 4 months to get the car repaired, for a total of 6 months. So far I believe the head gasket was done right, though I've only driven the car 10 miles since I got it back due to other issues.When picking up the car, the mechanic told me the car had an issue with the EGR valve. I would later find out after taking this to 3 mechanics and then a GM dealership that the reason the EGR valve didn't work is because the mechanic at Holly cut the pigtail connector from the harness and re-wired it wrong when it was reinstalled. You'd think they'd get one wire right, they got 0 wires right. This caused serious issues with the car, as an important engine sensor was wired completely wrong.The second issue was that it sounded like it had an exhaust leak, the sound would go away after the car was warmed up. This was caused by a mechanic at Holly destroying a secondary air pump hose, and then not installing it properly after fixing the head gasket. The pipe is discontinued, so I had to have someone try to fix the one that was mangled.The GM dealership said and I quote "whoever worked on this car did quite the hack job"I also noticed the bolts for a reservoir tank and other various pieces not replaced after the head gasket was done.I gave a 2 star rating because though the headgasket appears to work right, the cutting of the harness for the EGR valve and the destruction and failure to reconnect the secondary air hose combined with the 6 month total repair time is unacceptable in my opinion.The car in question has 49,000 miles on it as well, almost had to throw a like new car away because of this incident. Not pleased.

Questionable about this mechanic to fix certain things. Cannot count on this mechanic to give your car back @ 100% complete functionality. There were issues after we got our car back. Was not happy.

My friend Sarah brings her car here when it needs work. I know absolutely nothing about cars and felt Steve was very honest and reasonable in pricing with me. He even took the time to break down what was done/needing done in dummy terms so I d understand. Very good customer service/experience.
