We stayed at the Kenanna in Grayland campground in Washington. It was clean and well taken care of. We were on a find a spot where we could camp and razor clam with easy access to the beach even though the access road is a couple of miles north. It was the nicest RV camping in the area that we found with full hook-ups.Only thing is because of ground water table, I think it could get a little soggy during rain.

The cabins are adorable, clean and look bigger in person. The staff was very kind and helpful. A quick 5 minute drive from the beach, will definitely be back!Nearby activities: Food, shops and beach close by.

Quiet nice campgroundBad hook up for dumping black/grayTubes are too high, makes it difficult to empty tanks, liquid has to flow up hill!!We couldn't empty our tanks. Not convenient when they offer full hook upNearby activities: Driving only, Can't walk to beachBeach and museums nearby to drive to

Can I rate in the negatives. We went here for a family vacation for 4 days, never again very disappointed. When my parents first arrived we went in to tell them that we were here for our cabin that was reserved and they're just looked at us like there was nothing reserved for that day, the worker was very very snippy to us. When we got to the handicapped accessible cabin as soon as we got in the doorway there was an envelope on the table that says it was carefully cleaned and tips are welcome, how can I be careful when you turn around and there's dirt on the floor all around the cabin and you go in the bathroom and there's mulch on the tile when you make your bed there is a stained quilt on top of mulch in the bed, a dead cockroach on the floor along with other bugs on the dust on the window sill. So you spend $200 a night plus you want to tip yeah okay, it is cheaper to stay at a nice hotel and you get more accommodations then it is to stay here it was $200 a night when it was all done. On the website it says there is a fully loaded kitchen which usually includes a oven, something to boil water in, big spoons, Etc..., the first night we were there we took frozen pizza with us because we figured we could heat it up in the oven because of the description on the website think again, if not an oven we thought we could heat the pizza up on the grill with some foil after taking a look at that filthy disgusting Grill we thought again, my parents had to run down for a $14 plain cheese pizza at their high-priced store $14 for cheese yep okay. After supper we went to set out on porch I'm used waving to people where I grow up not up here everyone is mainly rude it could have to be with the high prices I don't know. After we sat out on porch it was around 8 so we got ready for bed, FYI if you're a male in a wheelchair that has a difficult time transferring, like me, be prepared for an uncomfortable night because of the "handicapped" bathroom which has a higher than average toilet making it difficult, when your wheelchair is a little higher than standard height. When it was time for bed it was very difficult also because the beds higher than my legs at 5 feet 4 with the problems in my legs, where I have to slide down a little just to have my tip toes touch the floor when I'm getting in and out, without someone there I would have fallen on my face a couple times.FYI if you are going to take your trash out before you leave or every couple days depends where you are you will walk half a mile to the dumpsters that are so full that they don't close. Also if you want your pet to stay with you you're allowed to if you rent a property for a camper but not if you rent a cabin figure that one out I can't. Because if it's "carefully" cleaned to their standards then they will miss the pet hair anyway. In ending the decision that I come to in my head is stay at a nearby Hotel it's cheaper and you get more plus a free breakfast usually then it is to stay here and pay $200 and get less with a smaller room plus the water at a hotel isn't filled with chlorine that smells really strong and BubblesThank you for reading my review which I took the time to tell the truth and didn't make anything up I don't sugarcoat like others must with this review

BEWARE OF THIS CAMPGROUND!!! We looked at purchasing a camper here previously and in the process there were some minor set backs. Tried to introduce ourselves to owners and they were NOT professional at all, very rude. They disguise themselves or have others call to ask about the sale of your camper. I worked for a Campground for 8 years before I moved and never should owners treat anyone like that!!! I was shocked!!!! I am so thankful we didn't purchase there and pay their high fee with no sewer. There are plenty of other campgrounds for the same price or cheaper with pools, activities, professional respectful owners, beautiful sites and some even have places to park your boat for free (Pioneer charges extra). We have run into lots of other campers up here in Raystown area that have pulled out of there due to the ignorance of the owners. We feel blessed that they showed their true colors before we paid them $2600. Trust me, if you want you're own privacy, KEEP LOOKING!!!!! Don't even stop here!!!

We LOVE this place!! It s our home away from home and only 5 mins from the lake. This is our second season at Pioneer and we couldn t be happier! The owners and other campers are like family and everyone is so friendly. We love that golf carts are welcomed here. The general store has everything you could want and the food is awesome. We highly recommend the wings. There are lots of activities always going on and live music/DJ s most Saturday s. We have 4 small kids and they love it so much that they asked to move here full-time. Thank you Pioneer Family Campground for giving our family this amazing experience...we appreciate everything you all do! The Adams Family

Absolutely love coming here! Great price for a weekly cabin rental, right next to a pool, playground, volley ball and basketball courts. Within distance to delgrossos amusement park, raystown lake, and alot of other great things to do! They have a small store, with a snack shop, that sells breakfast food as well as pizza, burgers, and sides. This is my third time coming in 10 years and I will without a doubt bring my family back here again.

When you arrive no one in office to get info. Girl working in food area stated that it is all permanent sites. It is called Pioneer Family Campground. Was told only one site is transient and is a waiting list. Online says all kind of sites available. Very misleading and we drove over 100 miles round-trip to see campground about future trips.

Just leased for a year. We have been visiting here for several years though. Have always had a great time and more so now that we have a permanent site. Owners are really great people and so is everyone there.
