I had the best experience here! My mom actually pointed Karls out to me especially after seeing how good his reviews were. I was super nervous about going to a new place 4 hours away from home but Karl was so sweet and super helpful 11/10 thank you so much!!!

Took my car for issues I was having with brakes. They had the issue fixed within a few hours and charged me 1/3 of a quote from another shop. Would recommend the shop to anyone in the area.

Stop searching and just go here. Have a kid in college in this town who had a mechanical failure. Fix was above my pay grade, so needed a hand getting him in the road. After reading some of the reviews I thought I'd give the shop a shot. Karl got us out of what could've been a holiday wrecking situation. Fix was fast and very fair priced.

Was given a recommendation to go here after another garage told me they couldn t do anything for me and said to go to a dealer. Karl was very nice and fixed my issue in a timely manor and at a very fair price. He fit me in when I didn t have an appointment and kept me informed about what he was doing with my truck. My daughter's Subaru is rather old and has had it's normal repair issues due to the year it is, but has been a great car for her so far. We keep it maintenanced and stay on top of any repairs needed. I googled garages in the area just before she started school out there and decided to send her to Karl's for any issues she may have. I just want to say, this place is wonderful, reliable and gives great service! What a god send this place has been I don't have to worry because I know they are there to help her! Thank you so much for your service and kindness!

As a parent of an IUP student, we had a situation where our vehicle was in need of quick repair to get our child home in time for Thanksgiving break. Karl and team took the jeep in and repaired in less than 24 hours. The pricing was great as was the service. In these situations it can be nerve wracking to utilize a shop you have never seen and know nothing about beyond Google reviews. I encourage anyone, and particularly, IUP families to use Karl's!Service: Engine repair

This is the 3rd time we used them and they are amazing. I went in thinking it was one thing costing $750 and they found that it was something else and only charged me $200 when I would have never known the difference. I noticed I had been having coolant leak issues with my 2004 Volvo S40 after fixing an an oil pan leak I had as well. I m a student at IUP and away from home so I wanted to find someone reliable in the area and someone I know who wouldn t try to just scavenge any dollar they can off who they think is vulnerable. I did a little research and found Karls place. I walked in and immediately knew that they were gonna take care of my problem. Walked in, made an appointment with the very wonderful lady at the desk. Eventually got the car looked at, got the problem addressed, got a reasonable price to fix the problem, and an appointment immediately. Couple days later I brought my car in and they had it done in the time manner they said they would. . I recommend these guys, they will get you rightService: General repairs & maintenance

They did a great job. Trust worthy. Honest people. He is employee I knew from a previous repair shop that worked on my cars before he worked for a shop that the owner passed I was glad to see he worked for Karl

I took my car to Karl s several times over the course of the 2 years I lived in Indiana. Karl and Ed are good guys and Ed was always especially helpful! Sometimes they took a little longer than expected, but they also don t have that many people working in the shop. Definitely recommend!

Karl's Auto came through for me in a clutch. I was getting multiple quotes for a repair that others claimed to be $300-$600 Talked with Karl's and gave them the OBD codes pulled. They got me in a day earlier than expected, and i was relieved when they called me and with confidence stated they discovered the problem and could be fixed in just a half hour. They got me back on the road, and in the end, my bill was $109. It takes a lot for me to trust a mechanic, but the service and professionalism offered by Karl's was beyond anything i expected.

Karl and company have always done us right - I'm a small business owner and know how to treat my customers, and I know the value of my repeat customers. Karl does too! AWESOME experience. Being a college student away from home I've been jipped more than a few times by mechanics when things go awry with my car, but this couldn't have been a more different experience. I chose Karl's because the reviews looked good on here and I'm so glad I did! Not only was it a personal exchange, but my car was quickly and efficiently done for a very fair price. I would encourage any and all college students to take their car here, I know I'll be back for any issues with mine for the rest of my college career. Thank you Karl's Auto :)

Karl's Repair was awesome. My sons truck broke down and I couldn't get to repair it. I was able to call Karl and he made time to fix my sons truck and was very fair and affordable. I would definitely recommend his business. Thank you Karl

Very friendly and helpful staff. They seem very experienced and trustworthy. I haven't found an auto repair place I can say I trust around town until I dealt with them. Would recommend to anyone and will go back in the future.

I may be biased because Ed is my dad and Karl is his cousin, but I'm not lying when I say you won't find better mechanics in Indiana. They are both honest snd reliable. Many of my friends have needed them in a pinch and they always pull through. I used to say, you don't need AAA if you have ECM (Ed Markel)! And the same goes for Karl!

Everyone was very friendly and helped me out without talking down to me. As a young woman, that's happened far too often when I take my car in to a garage, but not here! I will be coming back every time I need repairs done for now on - though hopefully that isnt too often!

Went to get car inspected found other issues and came to discuss issues. Set up an appointment to get fixed. Very easy and laid back atmosphere.

Found Karl and Ed when we moved into the area from Eastern Pa 4 years ago. Haven't gone to anyone since-knowledgeable in their profession and price is right for their labor.
