I am a fellow dealer and my family has bought 2 trucks from Hometown Auto. The business owner (s) are amazing and more than kind, overly kind. The trucks are clean and priced more than fair. Well I gotta tell anyone looking to purchase a truck, you wont find cleaner used trucks for the price. There is no such thing as the "perfect used truck." Hometown Auto is as close as you're going to get. I had been looking for awhile and either found rust buckets or trucks that simply weren't anywhere near worth the asking price. In todays day and age where inflation is insane Amy and her team do the good work in trying to keep trucks affordable. I didn't even try to haggle because I could tell by looking at the truck that there wasn't much of a profit margin for them. It was already priced perfectly. I drove the chevy off the lot yesterday. I couldn't be happier with the service, ease of purchase, and quality of the silverado i purchased. Amy even met me on her day off on labor day, and some other fellow looking for a truck for his college age kiddo.Honest used car dealers, and "truck specialist" dealers are almost impossible to come by. Hometown Auto is definitely a diamond in the rough dealer.keep up the good work yall. Thanks for being a model car dealership and I would recommend anyone coming here to look for solid used trucks.That was a week after i purchased the truck. Since then i took the fender flares off to find patched rust, and the fuel pump had to be replaced and the warranty did not cover it. Amy did offer me to use her mechanic, but i only trust the ones i know.....look at these trucks well before purchase.

NOT your typical car dealer. Their motto can be "no pressure." Amy greeted me and her first Q was "how are you?" NOT "what are you driving?"....not "What payment you looking for?" Amy is genuine and sweet. I ended up buying an '07 work truck F150 and so far so great. IF you see a truck you like stop in, I'm pretty sure they don't last long.Before leaving we joked about "Truck Lives Matter" Amy and Scott love trucks.....who doesn't?Bottom line? I highly recommend Hometown Auto Sales

There s a reason this dealership regularly receives awards from the city. Excellent service, they sell with honesty and integrity. I wouldn t buy pre-owned from anywhere else within a 200 mile radius. Highly recommend.

We purchased a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 pick up truck. The best vehicle buying experience that we have ever had. They have excellent customer service and Amy is professional while going above and beyond. We typically purchase vehicles from individuals, but we will continue to purchase from them in the future

Amy was great to deal with. Sells only clean trucks. Very trustworthy. Not pushy at all. I was referred by many to buy from them and my only issue was waiting for them to get inventory. As quick as they get them in they are sold which says a lot about the product they are putting out there. If you see one on the lot, you better jump on it. I ll definitely buy again from Hometown Auto!!

We bought 2 vehicles from this business and by far have had the best customer service from anywhere else our vehicles have been purchased. Highly recommend.

Great place to do business! Amy is knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to work with. If you are looking to buy a good used truck, this is the place to go. Absolutely no pressure. The Chevy 2500 sold itself. This is one of the cleanest trucks that I have seen for the year. I had been looking for a truck for two and a half months when I saw this one posted. I'll be back if I need another truck. Tell Scott my wife and I loved the price!Dave

Highly recommend Hometown Auto Sales. Been searching for a truck since November been to many car dealerships in that time and none compared to Hometown Auto. Amy was patient and easy to work with and very personable. The vehicle was in very good condition, clean and ready to go. If you re looking for a used truck this is the place to go.

Bought a 2010 GMC Canyon around October 2022 & had numerous issues with the truck upon purchasing the vehicle. Fan didn't work, tire pressure sensor came on, radio didn't work. Amy & Her mechanic were going to change the radio & never did. The interior light kept staying on, the radio stayed on with the door open. The title was filled out wrong & came back & had to be resubmitted. Had to take it to my mechanic to get above mentioned problems taken care of.Now I'm dealing with the truck not starting at all. This will be the second time it's been hauled to my mechanic because it won't start. Absolutely would not recommend buying an automobile here. I should've read all the reviews before going here. Don't know or understand how Hometown got best used car dealer in Indiana Pa.

This is a wonderful place to look for a good quality second hand vehicle! We are very happy with our truck that we purchased for our 16 year old son. Such good service from Hometown Auto and peace of mind!!! We would recommend buying from Amy in a heartbeat!

Hometown Auto has good prices, clean vehicles, and an honest, no pressure sales approach. The service engine light came on as I was driving the vehicle home from the lot. A quick text to Amy made me feel better. She had mentioned that her mechanic had fixed an emissions issue but had trouble clearing the light. She advised me to take it back in to get checked and that she would take care of it. Other than the light, the truck runs great. The 3 month warranty is a nice bonus, also. Vehicle shopping stresses me out, but working with Hometown Auto was a pleasant experience. When the time comes to get another vehicle, I will check with Amy again.As a side note....I had to leave my old car there over night when I picked the truck up and it snowed 6 inches that evening. When I went back the next day to get it, I found they had completely cleared my car of the snow. All I had to do was get in and start it up. They didn t have to do that, but went out of their way to make my day a little easier.

My experience with Hometown Auto Sales was fantastic from start to finish. They sold me one of the nicest 2006 Chevy work trucks I've ever seen. When I called them initially they did not have a GM truck in stock but did have one they just bought still being transported in from out of state and would not be ready for a while. They went on to replace a number of different parts on the truck and left no stone unturned, it had been gone through from front to back and anything that needed done was done correctly and they stopped at nothing to make the truck right. To top it all off, they sold me the truck for well under what anyone else would have sold it for even with all the work done to it. Throughout the process of getting it ready, multiple other people that saw the truck offered Amy much more than she was asking for it but she refused to go against her word to me that I would be first in line for the truck, and turned everyone else down. That element of integrity and honesty is extremely rare and I can't think of any other car dealer that would have done that for me. Now that I have the truck home I look forward to getting many years of use out of it and the next time I'm looking for a clean used truck I will be calling Hometown Auto Sales first thing!

Totally recommend Hometown Auto, we have been looking for a good used truck and found one at Hometown Auto. We found Amy as a very knowledgeable person, made us feel at ease.. and no pressure whatsoever. Her knowledge on trucks surprised us both. What was really great is she pulled up pictures of what the truck looks like underneath! Our last truck s frame rusted out from another auto sales, so we were relieved to be able to see the underneath without crawling under the vehicle. She was great!!

This amazing lady is my new favorite person. I contacted her months prior during an extremely busy time looking for a very specific, popular truck. She took down my info and what I was looking for and said she would keep a look out for me. Now mind you, most dealers would have just humored me and not bothered to get in touch. Knowing the truck would sell regardless. A few days ago she texts me with the exact truck I was looking for and it is in immaculate shape. Now knowing I had very short notice to make this buy happen she worked with us and stuck to her word. Even though she had many people bugging her for this truck she could have made the sale to anyone else. But she worked with us and made the sale happen. This woman will climb mountains it seems to keep her word and be honest. You have a lifetime customer in us and if we could give you 100 stars we would. Thank you Amy!

Went to this dealership and bought a 02 Chevy Silverado. It was very clean, no rust and in great shape. They gave me a price well below KBB value for it and it was a quick and easy process to buy! They werent pushy and it made for a great experience! Even after the purchase i found out the truck had bad wheel bearings about a week later and they were great and took care of whatevwr the warranty didnt cover. This place is honest and one of a kind as far as small dealerships go!

Wouldn't buy from again.Bought a white 04 f150 looked great isnide and out was impressed for the price took it for a drive drove good sounded good.so I bought it on the way home the air bag light kept blinking on and off and would make a dinging noise every few min then I got it home shut it off and went inside.came out later that night and opened the door the dome light wouldn't come on so I took it to the store went over a bump heard a bang in the front end and the dinging noise was still there every few minutes so finally got tierd of the dining took it to garage they couldn't figure it out they just said I believe the air bag light should stay on when started but wasn't sure so they suggested I replace the panel cluster so I ordered one off ebay put it in dining stopped then the noise in front end took it to my mechanic he saI'd both springs were broke in the front and both leaf springs were broke in the rear plus my axel shafts needed replaced and I just drove it off the lot. Very friendly though and did sell the truck to me for 8500.00 just think you should check over your trucks alittle better if your going to state that they are thoroughly inspected

Not sure who their mechanic is but they need to do a better job looking over the vehicle before slapping an inspection sticker on it. Instead they are in such a hurry to get vehicles off their lot. We bought a S-10 in November and we ve been putting money into it since then. So I recommend that you look the car/truck over very well before any negotiations are made plus don t walk out the door confident because of the cars warranty (like we did). Out of 5 local garages that we called in our area only one would accept the cars warranty because they are such a hassle or won t pay for the work to be done. The one who would take the warranty only did so with the condition that we would pay everything that the warranty company wouldn t. Other than that the truck is in good shape even though it was held together by a bandaid that fell off on the ride home. All things aside $3,000 and 4 months later it is a decent little truck.
