After years of avoiding AWE due to falling quality and lack of responsiveness, I attempted to give them another try with my new VW. Emailed a few questions a week ago through their site and no response, not even an acknowledgement. Seems not much has changed in 10 years, unless you're rocking a $100k+ car, you're not worthy of a reply. I'll continue with their competitors. There are plenty of high quality manufacturers for VW/Audi/Porsche enthusiasts out there.

Thanks AWE for making an awesome exhaust. Been looking at getting an exhaust for my '21 Silverado LT Trail Boss with a 6.2L. After comparing videos and reading about all the other exhausts, I had to go with AWE. For me, the biggest factor was drone, or lack of drone but still giving a deep/rich sound. Installed my full catback system and love it everyday! Did the install myself at home (instructions were very detailed). Highly recommend for all Silverado Owners. I have sound clips on my youtube page @PureGarage or Instagram @PureZ71

Best sounding exhausts on the planet for sure! I have one on my RAM TRX, my 2020 C8 Corvette and my 2019 C7 Corvette! The people are nice, professional and best of all, knowledgeable!

Following a minor issue with how long it was taking to receive my new Touring Edition exhaust for my 21 Jeep GC SRT, I cannot begin to express how much I love it!!!!!! If you are reading this review, and you are on the fence about buying this exhaust, please just DO IT!!! I promise you, you will not be disappointed!!! After you hear the sound of the YouTube samples, you might be wondering how loud it will be inside the vehicle. The thing is, ITS NOT loud in the vehicle. Unless you drop the hammer, but then you want to hear it right? The touring edition truly delivers its intended best of both worlds experience. During normal driving, you will hear the exhaust a bit inside the vehicle. And those around you will know you have it. And then it s an absolute BEAST when you open it up. The absolute truth is that the exhaust has made this vehicle so much more fun to drive!!!!! Thank you AWE!!!

Ordered the touring exhaust with quad tips and resonator for my 2016 Audi with the assistance of John V. He has exceptional customer service skills!We've been corresponding back and forth for several weeks He's been very patient with me. He answered all my questions within 24 hrs. Can't wait until my exhaust arrives!Update: It's been about a month since the exhaust installation. I had 3 different issues with the exhaust. First the rattling, had spacers installed to get rid of the noise. Then the driver side exhaust was tilting because the bracket closest to the exhaust wasn't sturdy enough to hold the weight. They installed another bracket to distribute the wt.The last issue is purely cosmetic. The driver side exhaust tips are protruding out 1/2" more than the other side. I can't push it back any further because the weld is in the way. Other than adjusting the passenger side to match or cutting 1/2 " off the pipe to match both sides.

Customer service is awesome. These guys know their product and love talking about cars in general. Called in to switch up my order for an exhaust and they made it quick and easy for me. Spent more time talking cars and mods with the guy than actually switching my order. Overall great company to buy from and will be using them in the future.

I've worked with AWE on a number of different parts for 5 different cars now, soon to be 6. They are my go-to manufacturer for anything exhaust related because their engineers prioritize exhaust SOUND, not just volume. They know how to make cars sound great, the products they create are insanely high quality, and I'd buy an AWE Exhaust 10 times over before I bought from a competitor. Two thumbs up and five stars!

Just got back from Corvettes at Carlisle where I had an AWE Touring exhaust installed on my C8.Working with Darron setting up an install time was simple and straightforward. The install was perfect and the exhaust sounds and looks amazing. The two techs that did the install were impressive, and at least from my vantage point, knew what they were doing. And they didn t mind me watching over their shoulders as they worked. I knew the real test was the highway drive home and the exhaust note did not disappoint. It was easy to live with at a steady 70mph and came alive whenever I laid into the throttle.All in all a great experience and money well spent.

Exhaust is awesome. However, I ordered black tips but was given chrome. There's been no response when I asked about shipping me the new tips, or refunding the $100 for the difference in cost. Exhaust, 5 stars. Support, 3 is generous.

This company has the best customer service John at extension 225 is a cool guy. I've brought alot of aftermarket parts from companies but I've never received a thank you package like the 1 Awe sent me. 2 t-shirts, coffee mug, and a license plate frame.The touring exhaust on my c7 sounds amazing!!!

Updated review after receiving product. The exhaust system is what I hoped for. Unfortunately, they aren't able to get the black diamond tips in currently, but they handled this situation well by providing the chrome tips and offering to ship the black tips later when available. The only reason I'm docking a couple stars is for the lack of communication. I was quoted 2-4 weeks for the build and checked in on the 4th week. Initially, I got a response quickly but then it was check back in 72 hours and then silence for about a week and half. I wasn't sure if I was ever going to get the product I ordered. Odd because they were very communicative during purchasing. I wish AWE would have just been transparent about why it was delayed and provided realistic time-frames. Would have made a huge difference. Regardless, product is great and I think their staff is struggling with production. Just be transparent and up front with your customers. I was OK with a delayed timeline but not the run around and no response.

First of all I want to say John Voss is awesome, working with him was great. He is was very responsive throughout the whole process (even after purchase) and made sure my exhaust got to me on time. Now as for the exhaust itself (the touring edition for the 2023 gr86), it sounds amazing and makes the car 10x more fun to drive.

Absolutely amazing. Friendly service from the second you walk in. Gave a tour of the facility which is amazing. You also get to sit next to a McLaren in the waiting room which is nice. Absolutely amazing cannot wait to go back for the next thing! Blow pop and stickers on the console are a nice touch also. Will be back for sure.

I was so looking forward to getting an AWE exhaust for my 23 Toyota GR86 but the whole process has been nothing but a headache and disappointing. I put my order in right at the end of December, was told by website that it would be about 3-4 weeks for the exhaust to be made and shipped. It is now March 7th and I still have no exhaust, I have contacted support about every 2 weeks to inquire about my order and every time I am told that it s gonna be another 2 weeks and the date keeps changing. Was super excited when I first placed my order but I am getting very close to giving up.

Ordered my exhaust for my 20 silverado on 2-19-23 I understand supply chain issues its now 4-10-23 and I'm waiting very very patiently and am suppose to get some shirts. I hope this exhaust is worth the wait. I would love to give em 5 stars it's suppose to ship 4-24-23 or 4-28-23 two people gave me two different answers let's hope that date stays over 2 months idk how much longer I can wait.i called last week and have yet to get a response if my exhaust is still coming on time. And by on time I mean over 2 months after I ordered itUpdate got my exhaust and installed it. Sounds amazing. I'm glad I waited. How I got a response is I messaged them on Facebook and got a tracking number within a few days. Definitely worth the wait!!

I bought the AWE Fully Resonated touring exhaust for my 2012 B8 S4 two years ago. Love it. I m now adding another exhaust for my other car. I spoke with John and he s outstanding. Super helpful and knowledgeable and just great to talk to. Great product and great CS!

When I bought my 2023 C8 Corvette. Even though I got it with the performance exhaust it still wasn t loud enough. Coming from Corsa on my C7 Corvette it was natural for me to want to install them again. However, while they do make a good exhaust most of my friends had an AWE Touring exhaust. So I began my research. And the more I researched the more I found I was liking what AWE had to offer even more. So I called and spoke with Sarah Riordan. Talk about PROFESSIONAL! After speaking with her there was no longer a question. AWE was the exhaust for me. Super simple install. Shaving 31 pounds off my C8 and not to mention the aggressive sounds I was looking for. Couple that with their 180 degree technology I have zero drone! And guess what. NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT! I am sold on AWE especially for the C8 Corvette. This is what the performance exhaust should have been in the first place. Thank you to all who work for AWE and especially Sarah Riordan for superior customer service! AWE for the WIN!

UPDATE TO THIS POST. READ BELOW !! I am giving this company a 1 star rating based on their customer service not the overall quality of the product, however I never got the product so I do not have anything I can compare to. I purchased a cat back exhaust system for a Ram that was to be used for a charity giveaway. I purchased the exhaust on line and talked with the rep at the end of Feb and was told it would take about 4 weeks to get the exhaust completed and sent out. 4 weeks came and went. I called to check on my order and was told it would be another couple of weeks but it should go out Mid April. Mid April came and went. I called back and was told that the exhaust was done but they were back ordered on the black tips. That was going to be in at the end of May and would not ship till June. I asked for chrome tips. Those were back ordered as well to the same time frame and still would not get to me until June. One excuse after another. Dates given to you they don't meet because everything is on backorder yet other companies that sell their product say it is a 4 to 6 week ship time. Tired of the excuses and can get a very comparable product from another high end exhaust company and have it built and shipped by Monday next week.17 May 22. UPDATE!!! I want to add to this review based on the additional customer service I received after my initial post. Mike contacted me by email and asked to call and discuss my experience. After a little phone tag we connected. Mike apologized for the issues that I had with lack of communication. Was straight up and no B/S. I can respect and appreciate that. Mike did everything he could to make things right for our build and the team. If it wasn t for a return policy issue with the other exhaust we already have I would have extended the build a couple extra days to get the exhaust and work with Mike. Totally changed my view of the company and I am sure my 4 wheel club and I will be getting additional parts from Mike soon. Mike. Thanks again for the great follow up and the help. It didn t work this time but there will be another time real soon . Thanks again.

Ordered an exhaust from them in February. It is now May, they had given me 3 different delivery dates and only because I had go pry it from their unresponsive support staff. Don't do business with them. They will take your thousands of dollars and then forget you made an order.

I'm trying to be fair and understanding here. It's been 4 weeks and I do understand that things happen but I've already paid over 1800 dollars and I have been trying for over a week now to just speak with someone and get an update. Not once have I actually talked to a person. I've left many voice-mails and emails and they never get returned. I'm going to hold on a little longer but the customer service can be a hell of a lot better. I am very disappointed that with this much money being spent I can't even get a single updateUpdate: got in contact with John Voss and immediately received my tracking number

Hands down the friendliest customer service I have ever encountered. I had been a loyal customer to another big name exhaust manufacturer but AWE has stolen me from them not just because they are nice people but they offer the same top quality product with a significant savings. Highly recommended by a very fussy person.

They make good products but I have to give one star because of their misleading business practices.I bought a catback exhaust for my Subaru WRX in January and selected black tips. Given that the exhaust is going on a blacked out car, the option of the black tips made an impact on my decision to go with AWE instead of the other numerous options on the market for my car.I received the parts pretty quickly, but they were knowingly shipped with chrome exhaust tips instead. In the package was a flyer explaining that supply chain issues had led to a backorder on black tips. That was the only notice I got of the supply issue - there was no notice on the page for the product, nor when I added it to my cart, nor when I got my order confirmation. The explanation was that they'd rather send the exhaust now so I could use it right away with chrome tips, and they'd send the black tips after.I already felt uneasy because that in and of itself felt misleading. You're clearly aware of the issue (hence the flyer), why not be forward about it on your website?I emailed AWE for a timeline and they said they'd ship at the end of January. Fine, that's a pretty short wait. January 31st passes with no update, so I email again on February 7th. They never answered so I call them a few days later. I'm told that the new date for the black tips is March 1st. March 1st passes, I call again. This time I'm told they're looking at mid-June for availability. (And anyone with common sense would know at this point, that's probably not going to happen either.)That's unacceptable. I'll be lucky if I get the product that I actually ordered within 6 months time, and the kicker is that it is still listed as in stock on your website! Your support told me over the phone that it was a software development issue... as a software developer, that's just gaslighting. You know you don't have stock of the product, it is not hard to reflect that on your website.I feel like I was misled and trapped into this exhaust that doesn't have the qualities that I bought it for now. There are better sounding exhausts, but I chose this one because of aesthetic choices. If I had known what my options truly were through AWE, I probably would've gone with a different option. Of course AWE doesn't want to miss out on those sales, but you have to actually have the product.Dave

AWE makes the best sounding exhaust I ve ever heard for multiple vehicles I ve owned including a Mustang GT, Ram 1500 and 392 Challenger. The fit and finish is amazing, they have awesome customer service and the grin you get every time you fire up your vehicle or mash the go pedal is worth every dime! If they make an exhaust for your vehicle you are doing yourself a disservice if you don t buy it.

I knew I wanted to put an AWE exhaust on my C7 corvette years before I was even able to purchased the car, reviews were great and lots of videos on youtube to back it up. When enquiring my emails were responded to very fast usually within a few hours and I was very impressed with customer service and them answering all my questions which also sealed the deal. I was told lead time was 2-3 weeks out which which was cutting it close due to the car being in storage but was still doable and placed the order 08/22/22.I reached out to my salesman on 09/09/22 to inquire on status and there was no reply.I reached out to my salesman on 09/14/22 and there was no replyI tried again 09/22/22 AND received an email back this day :DHe informed me that they were running behind... I can appreciate that, but why would you ghost a customer for weeks? All that was needed was an update of any information for all I knew the shop closed down as I was never able to get through by calling ( over a dozen long distance calls over this process) press 4 for shipping rang for a while then vmail, I tried other extensions but was never able to speak with a human, again this was spread over weeks.Exhaust is on the car now and I'm happy with it, but I don't see myself ever purchasing from or recommending them.(curious to see how long it takes to get a response from AWE on this review, will it take weeks or be immediately?)

I ordered a touring to track conversion for my Mk7 GTI from a third party vendor. I placed this order on 7/15 and was told 2-3 weeks. After three weeks I decided to contact awe directly. I didn't want to bother my vendor everytime I wanted an update. I got in contact with someone about my order and was even given an exact ship date. Well it didn't ship and was told my order would be expedited to the top. This was about 5 weeks after I placed my order. Well now it's 7 weeks since I placed my order and nobody is responding to my emails.Edit: Awe saw this review and got in touch with me the next day to resolve the issue. It seems it was a software issue that delayed my order. I got the exhaust on this past weekend and it sounds great! Great customer service! Will order again for another vehicle!

Placed my order on 7-12-22 was told a 2-3 week lead time. It is now 10-4-22 and I have not received anything. I have contacted several times looking for a ship date which I was told dates that were over a month ago. Now everytime I have tried to contact since I can not get a reply. All I asked was for a actual date that I will get my product or my money back.Update after putting a 1 star review I got a email the next morning along with a tracking number for my exhaust that was shipped that day, imagine that.I have had it installed for a couple weeks now I really enjoy the exhaust it is top notch as I was expecting. Just too bad that I had to put a bad review out to finally get it.

I ve been looking and researching an exhaust for my A3 for a while. I heard a lot of great things about AWE. I had to call and John helped me pick out exactly what I ve been wanting. Great customer service! Answered all my questions and concerns. I went ahead and placed my order the next day and should be arriving by the end of the week! I ll make sure to send a few pics and videos of the setup after!

Ordered a exhaust from AWE back in December and was service was actually pretty good initially. Of course once I completed my order with a sale rep and payment was completed my service went out the window. I didn t hear anything till almost the end of January and that was after I had to reach out to the sales rep asking for a update. The rep then informed me You should be receiving a email from fedex by tomorrow, possibly Friday . Fast forward 3 weeks still no email from fedex or the sales rep. I then had to go to the AWE website and create a support ticket. I then was contacted by a different rep that was true to their word and finally got a tracking number for me. Finally come February the exhaust finally comes in. Upon opening the box I realized the exhaust was sent yet no clamps to put the exhaust together were sent. I may have the wrong understanding but you would think after ordering a exhaust and the price you pay for it you would get the hardware to install it? Only reason that I m giving two stars is because as far as I can tell the build quality is good. Probably won t be ordering anymore AWE products after this simply because of poor customer service.
