I recently took my car into Rick's for an oil change and inspection. Rick found a hole in the flex pipe for the exhaust which caused it to fail inspection. He also found out the flex pipe is a permanent fixture to the catalytic converter so he had to replace the entire thing. He ordered the part and once it came in he had my car fixed up and inspected in a matter of a few hours. The price was reasonable and my car runs like new again!

I don t even know where to start but from the beginning. Rick had the job of changing the oil trap, air filter and my oil. I had also given Rick a list of things that needed to be checked on my car, at the top of the list was the water pump, I even had a detailed conversation with Rick about my concerns about my timing belt, as I had already replaced it and had to have the engine rebuilt once before, obviously a very costly procedure. The timing belt that is currently on my car only has 30,000 miles on it. When I picked up my car from ricks it was making a noise, he went for a drive with me and insisted that he didn t hear anything and then said that he had to get back to his shop. This was late Friday afternoon. My car continued to make noises over the weekend. I called Rick first thing Monday morning and left voicemails on both Monday and Tuesday. He never returned either of them, finally on Wednesday he answered and he tried to talk me into taking my car somewhere else. He finally agreed to look at my car that Friday morning. That same day when I left, I was driving down I 99 for work and my engine stopped. I had to have it towed back to ricks. He looked very angry, and was very hostile with me when I got there, Rick is very temperamental, and I highly discourage any woman especially, from ever going to his garage, as he will take complete advantage of and try to intimidate you. Lo and behold I finally talked him into starting my car to see if he knew what it sounded like. It was my timing belt which caused the valves to bend again and my engine was destroyed. He made no apologies. He did not give me any recommendations. Fast forward two weeks I had to buy a car from a friend of mine who let Rick inspect it. Just a few weeks after I purchased the car I was going through a stop sign and the brakes gave out. I swerved to avoid getting t boned. The car was taken to a different garage and it needed new cylinders and breaks on both rear tires. He had just inspected the car three weeks prior. There was no way that the rear brakes had been looked at. Ihesitated for weeks to leave this review, as I am not one to do something like this however, the public needs to be aware of this man and not only the debt, but the possible danger that this man is putting people in. in response to his reply, the water pump was the FIRST thing on the list!!! My mutual friend who knows cars very well was the one who told me to MAKE SURE I had the water pump checked!! When my car was towed to the garage to get the diagnosis the water pump was leaking!!! Explain that Rick! And my mutual friend was livid over a mistake that was made on his car over the summer, and as far as mentioning his height, he s 77 years old! And explain my brakes going out 3 weeks after you inspected it! Causing me to nearly get t boned after going through a stop sign! The rear brakes hadn t been checked! There is NO WAY I will remove this review! You are repairing people s cars that have children!!! And my car was well maintained for years!!! And IM the one who brought up my timing belt as I was very concerned about it!!!! Follow up! I asked him to get into the car as soon as it was done because it was still making the noise! You insisted it was fine!! I trusted you! And you laughed when you realized it was the timing belt and when Jimmy started to talk you told him to leave! BECAUSE YOU KNEW HE WAS GOING TO BLOW IT FOR YOU!!! I still have my Volvo, it s sitting in my garage until i can afford to get it fixed! I have every ounce of proof I need to sue you and I ve been told by everyone I ve talked to to do so!!!
