Chris and his team are incredibly professional and patient. I was particularly grateful for the level of communication. My car is running great after a major repair. It's not cheap to maintain a European car, but it's worth the cost when you can trust that the work has been done correctly.

I took my Bmw 335xi to Chris at EMC by tow truck with no idea what the problem was. Himself & Jaden quickly diagnosed what my issues were and throughly inspected damages to know if it makes sense to even spend the money.My timing chain had jumped which this normally destroys the valves in the motor;After some tests Chris confidently told me it would run again.He assured me their work would be top notch and boy they delivered! Along with that, I had a transmission service & solenoids, spark plugs, pulleys, and whatever they suggested I trusted them along the way.I ll be back when I'm in need.. Take it from me, go see Chris at EMC.

It's never good when your car has issues and your from out of town. My Volvo XC 90 needed assistance. Luckily, I had a partner in European Motorcars (Chris) and they were insightful, communicative, and honest through the process despite the long distance. I can't say enough about the integrity of the business as they did everything they could to get my car going again. Trust them to get your work done.

Had my fuel pump system and battery replaced and the prices were reasonable under the circumstances. I drove my car away and it started acting crazy with lights and the speedometer. I took it to scan and it looks like another part may have went out, the transmission fluid, filter and conductor plate. Chris took time out of his day and went out of his way to meet me at the auto parts store to look at the car and give the best diagnosis he could. That means a lot to me and says a lot about them as a business and Chris as a person. If I can figure things out, I'll bring the car back and I'd be happy to have them work on it again. Thems the breaks with an older, higher mileage European car. Thanks Chris, I'll be in touch.

Quality work and great staff. They know the extra care it takes to work on premium import vehicles. Small errors leave big issues and with EMC you have none of that to worry about. They won't rip you off or do unnecessary work. They are the best around.

Chris with European Motorcars was fantastic. My daughter s Volvo XC60 broke down enroute to Penn State and Chris and I were able to talk through the extensive repairs despite me being 200 miles away. His recomendations were well thought out and they quickly had us back on the road. Highest marks for Chris s shop.Joe Woomer

Chris and the staff did a great job. Very responsive from the first call, to parts ordering and updates throughout. Had answers for all of my questions as well. Very nice shop to work with for foreign cars. Chris is very friendly and seems to be the most thorough mechanic around for anything foreign. Had my bmw 650i xdrive in for service here a couple times. Great place

Thorough diagnostic work & easy communication I was buying a VW from out of state, and Chris did a great job with an independent evaluation. He gave me the confidence to make a car purchase from far away, test drove it for me, & was available anytime to answer questions even several times a day. Easy 5 stars. Chris and the crew at EMC know a LOT about European cars, way more than the dealerships Ive worked with, and they charge a lot less to fix your car! He is helping me restore/rebuild a classic 80s German car with TONS of known issues and weird designs, and they've figured it all out without issue. If you want your European car maintenanced and repaired back to factory/OEM spec this is the place to go. All parts and services are directly from factory and approved by original manufacturer. These guys know their cars and are very pleasant to do business with. Thanks Chris.

These guys are absolutely incredible. Extremely professional, and will not overcharge you. They re absolutely the best in the business. I will only take my range rover and my Jaguar to these guys. I live in Hollidaysburg PA where they re located in the middle of Pennsylvania where it s hard to find anyone to work on European, vehicles. They are an absolute blessing. Again, thanks guys for everything and will be seeing you again. I highly recommend European motorcars everyone with a European vehicle. These guys are awesome! I was about to take my x5 to the dealer for electrical gremlins, I'm happy I didn't. They figured out my issue pretty quickly and you can't beat the pricing either. Chris and Tim are very knowledgeable. They know what to look for, how to look, and what it's "supposed" to look like. They are mechanics, not parts changers, like so many other shops. If they say I need part xyz, I feel very confident that I truly need it and that it will be properly installed. They have done work for me on 3 different cars, from routine transmission and differential maintenance in my SUV to a complete engine swap in my mid engine convertible. I was a few hours from home on the highway when my car had some troubles. I called EMC and they told me that they don't normally do unscheduled work but to head that way and they would see what they could do.Despite having a garage full of cars and other work going on, Chris diagnosed my problem in the driveway, called every part store in the area to source what we needed, and got me back on the road. Not only did I avoid a massive tow bill or a stay in Altoona for the night, I even made it home for dinner.I can't say thank you enough, and also need to emphasize how honest and reasonable everyone was. They even bought some extra pizza for me at lunch time since I was stranded and they didn't want to leave me without food while they ate.Patronize and support this business if you've got a European import that needs work done!
