We were on the lake with our 2019 South Bay Pontoon when our150 hp Evinrude eTech engine suffered a catastrophic engine failure. There was a hole in the engine block the size of a quarter! Took it to Jim s and fortunately it was still under extended warranty and luckily Evinrude is still manufacturing parts and quickly got them to Jim s. They us back on the water in under 2 weeks!!!! I honestly thought our season was over! Thank You Jim s Anchorage and Evinrude for the quick action!

I enjoy fishing Raystown but must travel to do so. On two separate occasions, two years in a row, I had issues with my boat, and Jim s Anchorage took care of my needs and got me back out on the water. They do tremendous work, great customer service, and competitive prices.

Called Jim s Anchorage on a Monday, for issues w motor not starting, sputters for 10sec max at full throttle, then shuts off, I asked if they would be able to look at it, Isaac told me he would do his best to look at it. Dropped boat off on Monday after work hours, Isaac called on Tuesday said the carb needle was stuck and recommended a new alternator quoted me about $700 for both, I did tell him that that price was above my budget but since they were highly recommended at the marina, to go ahead and do the work. I stopped by at Jim s anchorage on Wednesday, around noon, paid $658 and picked up my boat, until here I was very happy with the speed and service. Ready to launch boat at marina, had the same issue, engine not staring, called Isaac, who told me that he would have a technician come to our boat slip. Technician came and was unable to resolve issue, said that he needed to take the carb to the shop. Received a call around 5:30pm same day, that boat was done, we took it out that day and the following it ran ok. I called Jim s Anchorage the next day and thanked them for taking care of the issue. Then Isaac called me later that day, said that I had to pay an additional $350 for the repairs, which was h20 in the fuel tank that needed pumping out, and that was a better deal than having to pay $530. I was super disappointed, Isaac said that he did his best to get us on the lake, and that my boat is my responsibility. I find this type of customer service unacceptable, I did not ask Isaac to fix the issue no matter what the cost.

Jim s is a top notch Marine shop!Jen in service took care of securing a hard to get part that other marinas would only sell to their customers Jim s Anchorage recognized that those in need, even if they are hundreds of miles away are customers too and treated me as if I were a regular in the store.Thanks Jen, you are my hero!

Very happy with service! Replaced a 2 stroke on a toon with a 4 in mid summer. Fast turnaround and very professional install and communication. Would highly recommended

We could not be more pleased with the most recent and unplanned service on our beloved Donzi. Thanks to the service team who responded to our emergency and replaced the worn out parts more quickly than we had expected. A special thanks to Tim for the actual work and the extra level of service he and another team provided during our emergency. Jim's Anchorage is the best!

The advisors and mechanics are very friendly. Atalie was a huge help and has been assisting me while I am trying to acquire parts for my Envinrude rebuild. She also had a mechanic check in on what is requested. Great people and professional phone etiquette.

By far best boat service in area. Had issue with boat while I was on the water. They got me in right away and was back on lake within an hour. Amazing! I have used them in past with similar experience.

This was our first time purchasing a boat. Wayne was great! He was very patient and knowledgeable. Ellen was extremely helpful! This being our first boat we had no idea of what we would need (ropes, anchors, etc). She showed us things that would be helpful and things we may want but don't necessarily need. Our whole overall experience with Jims Anchorage was great! My only regret is that we didn't buy a boat years ago!

I owe this dealership a HUGE apology, I gave them a very low review, it was not their fault, I was given misinformation, and hope to correct that now!!!We had always dealt with them and some bad info led me to believe it was true, BUT IIT WASN'T!!!I can not apologize enough for this, that is on me... Not on them... They have always treated us good, and went out of their way to be the most proficient dealership we trusted... Then I was misinformed and THAT is on me! I hope ANYONE who read my review will NOT think of them in that light!!! It was MY FAULT, Jim's Anchorage WAS NOT AT FAULT IN ANY WAY...I plan to go personally to these ppl and explain and apologize in person, when I learned it WASN'T their fault I thought the review was deleted, but apparently it wasn't... These are decent ppl, and I'm sincerely sorry that anyone was affected due to something I said!!!When I'm wrong, I SAY I'm wrong!!!

They took a Sea-Doo jet ski that I got water into the cylinders and I cleared the water as much as I could but of course the jet ski wouldn't run and I took it to Jim's Anchorage and they repaired it quickly and it has worked fine ever since and the fees for that were more than reasonable.

Jim's anchorage fixed a leak in my Chaparral boat that another dealer caused, turned out shift cable bellows was not slid on the entire way. After discovering where leak was entering bilge they loosened the shift cable bellows clamp and slid bellows the rest of the way on and tightened clamp, checked for leaks and none where found. Only charged me $120, well worth it.

I love this family own & operated business! The employees are very friendly, polite, & very helpful too!There's a wide variety of boating fun like boogie boards, inner tubes, rafts, water skis, life jackets for all ages even for your four legged friend & Jim's Anchorage even has much more of boating & lake fun necessities that would take me forever to list everything!They even do boat repairs & basic boat maintenance, then they have a showroom where they are selling new & some used boats to enjoy on the beautiful Raystown Lake!I highly recommend Jim's Anchorage if your planning on going to Raystown Lake for any type of adventure!

For the past 12 years I have worked with the Anchorage for my pontoon boat service. They have been MORE than helpful and fair. Ben Filson is a rock star and goes out of his way to get the job done. If you need any support in the Lake Raystown region call them TODAY.

We purchased a slightly used pontoon boat from a private owner ,which was bought new @ Jims . We had them look over the motor and title work along with some other thing s,They knew r names every time we came back .These are the kind of people @Jims u want to deal with . We will travel from the Pittsburgh area again when we need something .I ve always owned Mercs .This Evinrude 2 stroke engine is difinitely the way to go.
