How was it? It cost me 5 grand for my 2017 caravan to have the transmission rebuilt. A week later and its... fine. But only time will tell. I believe a 1 year warranty is too low for this price, but what do I know.

Recently Had to have the rear end rebuilt on my 2004 Toyota Tacoma after 193000 miles My mechanic sent me to Marenchin s. Said they are the best with transmissions and rear ends. He wasn t Kidding. They are totally honest, up front and fair. Explained all of my options and choices pros and cons. Totally comfortable working with them from the start. Excellent job on my truck and it hasn t run this nice in years. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. They were definitely the right choice for me.

Charged me 795 to install a used rear axle didn t even replace the pinion seal that was clearly leaking no new break lines no new u bolts. Do not recommend!!!! Anywhere else will do the same quality of work for literally half the price!!!!! Avoid avoid avoid this place

This is by far and away the most knowledgeable, reputable, and honest vehicle repair shop that I have ever been to. I brought in my Honda Civic to be evaluated for potential transmission issues. They diagnosed the issue very quickly, were extremely transparent, gave great advice, and in the end my car was repaired at a very reasonable price. I could not be happier. I took my Subaru Impreza to Merenchin's after they were recommended by multiple people in Grove City. Keith was respectful and honest throughout our communications about how to get my car fixed and when the timeline could be. He made it very clear that he's busy and to be realistic but he exceeded my expectations for the good. I also talked to Jeanie and Frank on the phone and they were excellent communicators and very kind as well. If you have patience and want good, respectable transmission work; check out Merenchin's! Called about an issue my Subaru was having and that I thought it was the cvt control module. Made an appointment to drop it off on a Monday evening for Tuesday. Well before I expected it, I got a call about it telling me it was in fact the control module and that a first inspection of it doesnt indicate any other problems. What I appreciated most was how I was treated. I was merely spoken to like it was any common thing that someone may or may not know about. It wasn't over or under explained-and I was treated like I knew my car. We discussed the repair. It wasnt cheap, but no work like that is and the price was fair. At first I was unsure of when I would be able to have it done, and they were willing to let me figure that out amd call back. Remembered something and ok'd the work. Car was finished sooner than anticipated and I picked it up by Friday (it was done Thursday). The person who worked on it was called in tontalk to me when I came to pay. He discussed the second inspection they do before replaing the part after the old one is removed, which I appreciated. There was nothing else wrong that they could see, but still discussed it. So far, so good, too. Everything seems to be running as it should. I am appreciative for the work and the customer service. I had used them about 20some years ago with my first car and service was the same which is a good thing.

This is one of the best garages in town. I've been to countless places that rip you off and do terrible work but these guys know what they're doing. I've heard a couple people saying, "they're expensive", to which I say, yeah, they can be a little pricey, but do you want the work done right? Or do you want to have to take your car back five times and it's still not fixed? Because in my experiences, personally, with other garages have been a nightmare. The mechanics at Marenchin's are polite, knowledgeable and they do darn good work. And the lady at the front desk is always kind and helpful. She's kind of the unsung hero there. If you want your car or truck fixed right and you don't want to be ripped off, go to Marenchin's. It's a family business with a personal touch and friendly service. I can't recommend them enough.

I can't thank them enough for the great service and communication. My daughters Cruze transmission, something broke off inside and tore apart everything inside. Even gears.One place refused to work on it. We took it to Marenchin and he was completely honest and told us how much is involved. They rebuilt it and it works perfectly.If you are looking for your quality repair with a nice warranty, I highly recommend them.

We had two very good experiences with Marenchin's Transmissions recently. They rebuilt the rear-end on our truck and replaced our transmission cooler and leaky lines. They successfully repaired what a previous mechanic failed to do. Their customer service was top notch and I think I received a good value for the price.

They do great work......The only complaint I would have is that they are so busy they couldn't get me in sooner than 2-2 1/2 weeks.

While traveling home after Thanksgiving my car broke down on I80E at the OH/PA border, 7 hours from home. I was towed to an Auto shop who after 3 days and $400 worth of parts could not figure out how to fix my car. Then I took the car to Marenchin s transmission. Keith Covert Jr. opened my hood and in under an hour had the problem diagnosed, the part delivered and the repair done for $85. This father/ son team is the best. Nice, smart guys. I don t know why you would ever bring your car anywhere else in this area.

These guys are awesome, they took care of us. We were on our way home to New Mexico and the tranny on our truck started acting funny. They fixed it for a great price to.

Had a tough diagnostic on my transmission. These folks spent a lot of time searching it out. My car runs as smooth as a baby's behind. Only a few hundred dollars (instead of a few thousand). I'm immensely happy.
