My wife got hit and my insurance company recommended this auto body shop because it was close to our home and they are part of their network . When I called they were fast and picked up our car within the hour. Fast forward a few weeks and they called to say our car was ready. What a great surprise , our car looked fantastic , inside and out. This is one great company and I highly recommend them. Thank you all for such a truly professional job

Unfortunately, I have to say that in over 22 years I have never had an experience like this with a business that does car repair. Direct Paint & Collision Inc kept my car for a total of 68 days (over 2 months!) to repair some front end damage from a car accident. I gave Direct Paint & Collision Inc my car on October 13, 2023 and it took them until December 20, 2023 to fix it. Direct Paint & Collision blamed the delay on an "auto parts strike". However, the delay in finishing my repairs persisted weeks beyond the end of the supposed auto parts strike.During the months of November 2023 and December 2023 I would call at various times for updates on the status of my car repair. When I would call sometimes I would be told that the car be ready soon, but they were just waiting on a part to come in. However, on more than one occasion I was told that they're waiting on a part or two and that the car may be ready to pick up the next day; the car was never ready the next day on these occasions and nobody called me to follow up either.So, after a few failures to deliver on claims that my car may be ready the next day or ready within a few days, I called for another update on December 12th 2023 (60 days after dropping my car off and 8 days before the car would finally be ready) and this time I was told a harness needed to be fixed and they also needed to figure out why my check engine light mysteriously triggered, but should be ready within a day.Eight days later, I finally receive a call from Direct Paint & Collision at 2:00 PM on December 20 2023 telling me that my car is ready for pickup. To add further insult, when I arrived to pick up the car, one of the employees at the front desk has the nerve to joke that my car has been there "longer than some of their employees". It's really not funny.Again, I've had cars serviced over the past 22 years and this is by far been the worst experience that I've had. In a situation like this, you are truly at the mercy of the business that's handling your car repair and you really do feel like a helpless consumer. The work appears to have been done well, but that's very little consolation considering the delay, failed claims of delivery and the attitudes of the staff about the delay.

Direct Paint & Collision was recommended to me by my mechanic and I am so thankful for these guys! I got in to a minor accident and always assumed that the most difficult part would be dealing with aftermath, but these guys made it so easy! They got me in very quickly & communicated with me every step of the way. They also did all of the communication with my insurance as it pertained to the estimate, which meant I could focus on other things (replacing car seat, rental, etc.). They also had my car back up & running in no time. I highly recommend!

My Chevy Impala was recently rear ended, resulted in me coming to Direct Paint. I was expecting the "runaround" that the last shop gave me. Well none of that here! Not only did Michael Esposito call and have Enterprise pick me up that day, but he gave me regular updates and a mere 6 days later, I had my car back. And it was IMMACULATE and fresh inside when I got it back. The paint job matched PERFECTLY. The work was awesome!! Michael and Tyler are the best, and this is my new spot for auto body repair and paint. Tell a friend.

Direct Paint and Collision replaced my car s door quickly and perfectly, and gave me an excellent courtesy on a repair for a prior accident. Tyler was in touch with me for the repair, but the entire staff did a wonderful job of keeping in touch with me and letting me know what was going on.

After an accident (in my case, my two vehicles, parked on the street, were damaged, one badly, when they were struck by a drunk driver), when it is easy to get angry about having to deal with the aftermath, the last thing you want is to have problems with a body shop. Within minutes of beginning my interaction with Direct Paint & Collision, I knew I was dealing with competent, efficient professionals. I could not have hoped for a better experience. They assisted with everything, including facilitating dealing with insurance companies and car rental. Ian told me it was his goal to get vehicles fixed so they are as good as new. He met his goal with my vehicles.

I had a great experience with Direct Paint and Collision. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The time they had my car was reasonable. My car was cleaner than when I bought it and looks like nothing ever happened.

This is a long overdue acknowledgement of the superior service that was done by your shop, Direct Collision, after an accident. From the initial estimate on July 20th done by Mark Horn until the final completion of the car on September 25th Mark made everything seamless. This was unfamiliar territory to me but Mark assured me along the way that he would deal with the insurance company and I would not need to. Once the car was in your shop I no longer dealt with the minutiae and the wrangling. He absolutely took care of everything. There were multiple requests from the insurance company and I was notified after things had been settled. I am sure that you are accustomed to this type of back and forth but to someone who isn't familiar with the process it was reassuring to know that an individual like Mark who had my best interest in mind, was handling it. The work was done to perfection and the vehicle came back to me looking new. Thanks for the clean out of the inside! Please be assured that if I find myself or know of a friend who is in need of repair service in the future, Direct Collision will be the first I think of. After my experience, I refuse to take my car anywhere else. When I got my car back, I didn't even know which side was damaged previously because my car looked perfect. Please do not waste your time anywhere else. If you are wanting to get your car repaired, look no further.

Had my car repaired and they even fixed a small dent the size of a baseball on the other side that is not related! I could not believe they fixed it for me for free. I was asking different shops and one in Manayunk quoted $2700 for paint over, $5000 for replacing the panel (panel over front wheel).I think the owner is genuinely kind and not out there to charge anything more than what it really costs. My impression is that the business is honest and ethical. Strongly recommend! Picture of the dent that I am referring to. My car looks brand new :)

I was directed to Direct Paint and Collision by Geico my insurance company. Direct Paint was able to assess the damages for Geico and provide a reasonable time-frame for the repair. They did a great job, the car looked great upon return. I was met by the rental car company at the shop and left the rental there when I picked up my car. The whole process was amazingly seamless. I highly recommend.

Had my car repaired here and it was an amazing experience. Super helpful employees, felt comfortable to ask any questions, and was communicated with thru the whole process! I would recommend them to anyone who needs work done on their car!

A few weeks ago, the rear of my car was badly smashed when someone rear ended me when I was at a red light. I am glad I didn't work with the company the insurance recommended. The other body shop did not have good reviews and I didn't feel comfortable trusting them. I had heard good things about Direct Paint, so I took my car there instead. I worked with Keith during the process, and he was very responsive to my calls and concerns. The car was ready in just over 1 week, which was faster than I was expecting. Plus, they thoroughly cleaned my car! An all-around great experience.

I got hit while I was parked and fixed everything through insurance. Direct paint & collision was a top option through geico. I can confirm that they returned my car back better than before! It felt like I was driving a brand new car. The repairs and paint were perfect. Everything was completed in a timely manner. They even washed and waxed the exterior, and vacuumed the entire interior. It felt like I also paid for detailing! They were very accommodating for after hours pickup. Overall, I would use them again for any autobody needs.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Had a sizable scrape on the rear bumper, while the car, a 2015 Acura TLX-SHAWD, has a unique deep red metallic flecked paint that's really hard to match. Direct Paint & Collision did a super excellent job in getting color matched and the bumper cover repainted perfectly. Getting the job done was a very good experience, they were extremely thorough and detailed in their estimate, accurate for timing to get it done, and did a super job communicating job status all the way through! For the second time in eight months, my nearly new Honda CRV was hit by a distracted driver. And for the second time in eight months, Direct Paint came to the rescue. Hands down the best auto body/ experience you can get. Given how much it costs, I m incredibly particular with my vehicle and notice every little detail (good or bad). I was rear ended and after examination would require 98 total parts to fix. Direct Paint & Collision did the estimate, the replacement parts, repairs, painting, diagnostic testing, everything needed to restore it to original condition.They ordered all OEM parts, refused any parts that were shipped from manufacturer and weren t correct to the cars VIN (super important they won t just slap on any part that comes), communicated with me DAILY on updates and status. Most importantly, they answered all my many questions (which also came daily) and made me feel comfortable / positive about a very negative situation (car accident).Everyone at Direct Paint is a pleasure to work with. Very knowledgeable in their area of expertise. My car is a brand new 2020 Mercedes and what I would consider a complex vehicle given the many (although unnecessary) amount of parts for simple things like a bumper. With that being said, these guys took care of it with no problem and the car literally looks better than before the accident.They detailed, washed, buffed, and cleaned the entire inside/outside of vehicle as well. Total estimation for completion was 3 weeks and they did it less than 2. I would highly recommend considering these guys if you have the option.Services: Exhaust, Painting, Electrical, Body & Trim

Direct Paint and Collision is fantastic! I brought my car to them after hitting a deer- there was a lot of damage and the car looks brand new. My insurance company was holding up the process and they did a great job communicating with the insurance and getting the project underway. Not only was the repair work great, but the inside of my car was so clean.I have a dog that loves to ride in the car, but she sheds like crazy. I had basically given up on getting her hair out of my cloth seats. When I got the car back, you couldn't even tell that I have a dog! Cannot recommend Direct Paint and Collision more!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I'm still in the process of working with them, but so far it's been a good experience, at a bad time. My son's vehicle was totaled, and towed there. I went there for my son to empty out his car. The person that was helping us was great. Very polite and informative. He answered all of my (mom) questions, and gave me a general explanation of the process we would be going thru. So, so far my experience with them has been all good. Once I'm completely done dealing with this aspect, I'll update my review and get the name of the man I've been dealing with. He's been great, and as I said, very helpful and informative.

I feel so fortunate to live a short walk from this place. Great customer service and also great work--my car looks better now than it did when it went into the shop! The employees have a great sense of humor and even took the time to give me recommendations for local mechanics when I asked. I cannot say enough great things about Direct Paint & Collision. This was my first time using their auto body shop and I would recommend them to anyone! Their excellent communication and customer service made the process easy for me. I don t know much about cars, but they went as far as to print out diagrams of the vehicle parts to explain to me what needed to be done. My car looks brand new and I am so happy to have found them!Service: Painting
