Had a great experience with a problem I had. I ordered a catted H-pipe from American Muscle and it came without the sleeves that seal the midpipe to the headers. I reached out to pipes directly and Mike was awesome and sent me the sleeves at no charge and super fast 1 day shipping. Great customer service and the h pipe sounds awesome on my 07 mustang gt/cs

Title: Terrible Experience with Pypes ExhaustI recently ordered long tube headers and a catted X pipe for my 2005 Mustang GT from Pypes Exhaust, and the experience has been nothing short of disappointing. The package arrived incomplete, missing the O2 sensor cable crucial for extending the wire. This oversight wasted days of my time and money, as I had to rent a shop for the lift.Upon contacting their customer service, I spoke with a representative named Mike, who assured me he would send out the missing part. However, the frustration continued as they opted for standard shipping instead of expedited, despite my significant investment of over $1600. This lack of urgency and attention to detail is unacceptable, tarnishing the overall quality of their product and service.

Thank you so much for an awesome exhaust system. The 2 1/2 inch exhaust system with cut outs worked perfectly on this big block Chevy can t wait to get it on the road it s still under restoration. But here s a pic underneath my car. I recommend this exhaust system thanks again.

Company is great. Products are very well constructed. They stopped making the MVR46 muffler which I have on my Chevelle but other that that their stuff sounds and performs top notch. Pic of the system being fitted. Also a pic of the entire headers back system with Pypes 3.5" X-pipe, MVR46s and custom 3.5" tailpipes all in stainless welded up.

The Pypes system fit perfectly and the 2 1/2" Race Pro mufflers are just what I wanted for a quite system in my HOA neighborhood. Next classic car will have a Pypes system and the 67 Camaro I am re-buiding for a friend will have Pypes to replace the Flowmaster that someone before him installed. Love the throaty sound, no tin cans here. Thanks Pypes for an affordable system I could install.

I am running a Pypes 2.5 Cat-Back with Violator mufflers on my 84 Monte Carlo SS and love it. Sounds pretty tame at idle and nice sound at part throttle - but hit the go fast pedal and she roars. So glad I chose Pypes!

The exhaust system fit very well on my 1968 Camaro with a 350 and a Muncie 4 speed. I really like the polished look. The only downside to the exhaust is that the sound is not as aggressive as I hoped for. It is not obnoxious at idle and sounds decent under hard acceleration. I purchased this through Summit Racing and their customer service is awesome.

I have a Pypes high tuck off-road exhaust on my 17 Wrangler. Install was easy with a friend helping. A year later I added a resonator in front of the muffler. This moderated the sound and lowered the pitch. Again, not so hard to do. I did call and buy a second mid pipe, in case I screwed up or in case I decide to remove the resonator. Each interaction I had with Pypes has been entirely positive. Good people make a good company.

Shipping was fast. Product arrived early and in good shape. The pipes and mufflers fit great. Al bends matched to the body of my 1978 Camaro Z28 better than the stock system. The sounds with the violator mufflers is just loud enough at idle to hear the cam and when you open the throttle you get the neighbors attention. Will use Pypes again and recommend to others

I bought the SGF43 with the Race Pro mufflers for my 1979 Trans Am and it's amazing. The fit is perfect. The kit came with everything that I needed (except for a collector) and was very easy to install. The sound that comes out is quiet when wanted but aggressive when revving at higher RPMs. I did buy the silver tips and it would be nice to know where to cut the dump pipe, but otherwise the kit is amazing. It even looks impressive underneath the car. 10/10 would recommend.

I needed just the tailpipes from a kit they sell, but they didn't want to sell them to me because I didn't buy the whole system from them. They were concerned that they may not fit and I wouldn't be happy. I assured them I could make them fit. And I did. The pipes fit perfectly. Good quality materials. I recommend them to everyone. Very satisfied!

Pypes Violator muffler is great. Deep, throaty sound without being obnoxious. No cab drone. At least once a month, random people compliment the sound of my truck. Customer service is outstanding and they stand behind their product.

I'm restoring a 1970 Buick GS455 and reached the point where the next stage was the exhaust system. I used muffler shops in the past with good results, but most of the shops familiar with custom and performance systems located in my area had gone out of business. A friend who had recently installed a Pypes Exhaust system suggested I check their offerings! I was surprised that Pypes had audio of the various mufflers on the internet and had many Youtube videos of installations which looked like an easy system to install! I ordered a complete system of 2 1/2 inch stainless pipes with the X-pipe and down pipes for the original exhaust manifolds and completed the installation in "record time", because it was very easy and only required minor triming with a hacksaw! I chose the new turbo mufflers that are not overly loud, but still allow the great rumble of my performance camshaft! Thanks Pipes for the R&d that went into your ptoducts!

I had a set of PYPES on another car. I loved the sound they make. Much better than competitors. So I got a set for my truck. Couldn't be happier. Install was so simple because everything was included. About an hour (not including prep time by jacking up truck and safety things)

I had a pypes full exhaust with x-pipe and violator mufflers on my 92 mustang gt. They sounded great, especially at high rpm. Being stainless the system stayed in great shape, and this car lived outside. I am looking to put another system on my 63 nova.

Great system for SG60 Firebird. Fits great and I needed to modify the rear tailpipe areas for a 4-Link suspension , but the system fit good with the modifications. There is nothing out there for modifying these systems for 4-Link and they need to provide Instructions or make a modified tail kit as many are installing Rear 4-Link's now. Thanks Pypes!

Ok I have a 2011 Mudtang GT/CS and was one of the first to get the Pypes Supersystem installed. To this day I am still on love with the sound and looks of this system and still get tons of compliments. I only had one issue that Pypes failed on an that was the alignment of the DS exhaust. Not terrible but that is why 4 out of 5.

18 months ago I bought a complete header back 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust for my 68 LeMans convertible. My system has Street Pro mufflers, X-pype with dual electric cutouts and stainless tips with the 3.5" upsized GTO trumpets. Fit was great, no issues anywhere. It came with high quality OE style hangers and clamps.I have received many compliments on the sound, and if I want almost open header music, that's just a switch away. I say almost since the cutouts are on the down flow of the X-pype and it is only 90% as loud as pure open headers. This summer I installed a Tremec TKX 5-speed, and with the Ram Air IV cam, 400 Pontiac, Kauffman 74cc aluminum heads she's running mid 13s around 106 mph in the quarter. With or without the cutouts open, my times are the same. Pretty good proof the system flows well indeed.

I used to drive an older V6 Mustang and when time came to replace the exhaust I turned towards Pypes for a catback. Results were astounding, my car was finally breathing and the sound gave me shivers!! Best place around, thanks again for being there Pypes.

I purchased a 3" full X pype exhaust system for my 67' Chevelle. I was blown away by how well it fit and how easy it was to install. I'd highly recommend the purchase of any of their products!!

Im on my third set of Pypes mufflers and my second full exhaust, for the same car, in the last year. I called Pypes and told them what I wanted... They talked me out of it and said that it would hinder my performance. So I spent $1000 and bought what they recommended. My GTO was then so rediculously quiete that it was outright embarrassing and I would get laughed at when I went to car shows. I called them back and told them that as I first informed them, I wanted a loud muscle car exhaust. They said I needed new mufflers, so I bought them. It was still ridiculously quiet. So I bought two more sets of mufflers, and it was still too quiet. By now, the new exhaust was chopped to death and I hated it, so I called and ATTEMPTED to purchase a 3 inch exhaust. Once again, they refused to sell it to me, claiming that my cars performance would suffer greatly, so they sold me the loudest 2.5" exhaust they had, and it was quieter than my stock 2022 V6 Silverado. Finally, I put dumps on the car and installed baffles at the dumps. My car now sounds like a GTO is supposed to sound. Authorative and mean... and I picked up over 20 HP on the chassis dyno! So... the whole small pipes add torque wives tale may be true, but if your car already has too much torque and the flow is restricted, then you need a big exhaust. It took me a year and $3000 to resolve this issue. Pypes shouldve known better, AND they shouldve sold me what I asked for.

I recently purchased the 70-73 Camaro Pypes 3'' exhaust kit with the Violator mufflers and X pipe. My 70 Camaro has a big block and Turbo 400 transmission with headers and 3.5'' collectors and is lowered about 2''. Even with a lower car and large header collectors the mandrel bent exhaust fit like a glove and the mufflers sound amazing at both idle and especially W.O.T. !!!!!!!!!! The kit was absolutely worth it in every way so a HUGE THANKS to Pypes for creating such a great product and getting it to me in a timely manner !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS AGAIN PYPES !!!!

I, personally, had a bad experience. The quality of the product looks okay. I purchased Thornton shorty headers for my BB Olds engine. They recommended Pypes down-pipes for the exhaust to mate to the Thornton headers. I explained to Pypes what I was in need of and and gave them the part number from Thornton, then told them Thornton said they would know what I needed. They said yes, they knew what was required. This was all on the telephone, not online. They sent out the standard 2.5" exhaust pipes which don't even come close to fitting the Thornton headers. When I called back to tell Pypes what I received, I was told that is all they have for my application. Then they stated I should send back the Thornton headers and get the stock-type exhaust manifolds. They did not want their pipes back, but, stated they would take them only if I picked up the shipping. There was a hint there may be a re-stock charge as well. I gave up and still have those exhaust pipes in the basement. The project did not get completed and I bought long-tube headers instead. I am done with Pypes. Not sure about Thornton, yet.

called a few times before I purchased the exhaust system for my 65 mustang convertible. Mike at pypes was very helpful.. I would recommend them to everyone I meet. The system fit perfectly and I only had to do some modifying of pipes from collector to X pipe. I all my years these are the best people I have ever had contact with.
