Great service. Great communication. I love that they keep in touch without you having to call several times. They were willing to dive into my Cadillac when the dealership had me chasing my tail. Some places don t want to touch your 15 year old car but they were happy to help. Now she runs like the day I brought her home. I recommend J s to anyone, especially those who are tired of mechanics and dealers wasting your time.

I went to J's Auto Service to hopefully see if they could fix my favorite 2009 GMC Acadia (163,000 miles). We have traveled all over the country and love this Acadia! There was a bad engine that shook for several months, and J's Auto Service was able to fix our engine with reasonable prices. I had taken this GMC to three places; 2 GMC dealership/services , and a local auto service, and none of them COULD FIX THIS DAMN PROBLEM W/ ENGINE without charging me exorbitant prices. I already spent over $2,000 and still the engine shook. I heard about J's Auto Service via this rating and reviews. I visited J's Auto Service, and explained to John (owner) about my frustrations with different services and spending $$$. John understood my frustrations, and worked hard to figure out exactly what the problem was. John found that a new part that I had paid for recently at the other local service was no good! He said it was a bad coil and definitely not new. Unbelievable! J's Auto Service gave us an AAA discount with great and reasonable prices for parts and labor, for the Ignition Coil, Catalytic Converter, Evaporative Control System, State Safety Sticker, Premium Rear Disc Brake Rotors, PA Inspection and changed the car fluids. I am so happy with J's Auto Services. We found an HONEST service with great prices since we moved back from New Mexico recently. We will be using J's Auto Service from now on!

J's Auto Service went above and beyond for me when my car was in. Especially Christine who took my call. She worked with my warranty company and got them too cover everything!! I have a 1995 Cadillac Eldorado that was in need of a head gasket. I wanted the NorthStar Performance kit installed I got the recommendation from Jake Wiebe's at NorthStar performance. After talking to John i knew he was going to do a good job. He took on the job along with a lot more work that had to be done. I shipped my car from Ct after speaking to John. J's Auto was the best repair service I have ever experienced. They kept me informed on the progress of my vehicle. Christine was available for updates. They were outstanding. I got my car back and it really runs like new I would highly recommend J's Auto to anyone looking for a quality repair shop They were super friendly and Very Professional. Granted, I've only been there once. I just bought my 2019 Mazda CX-5 off the lease and decided not to schlep an hour to the dealer for an oil change and tire rotation. J's is convenient to my home, got me an appointment for the next morning, and has really good reviews. Now I know why.My simple maintenance appointment turned out to be a not-so-simple oil leak caused by a cracked cylinder head a known issue for the car, but not by me. They took a ton of time, communicated regularly, and in the end sent me back to the dealer because the issue is covered under warranty.The following week, Christine checked in to see how the car was doing I'll have it back today and I told her that their diagnostics were spot-on. Running errands today with my 6 year old, I became concerned with my car s warning of low tire pressure, odd on a warm sunny day. With safety in mind, I headed straight over to J s, knowing they would help. Without hesitation, John drove it into the garage & was able to quickly report I had a nail in my tire. They filled it back up with air until I am able to bring it in for repair. I so appreciate the excellent customer service, even in the absence of an appointment. Although not an emergency situation, it put my mind at ease. 5 stars!!Service: Tires

I started using J s Auto for my car needs in February. I cannot say enough positive things about this business and the people who run it. John is courteous, honest, accommodating and always willing to answer any of my many questions. I have needed service multiple times and John has always worked around my schedule to fit me in. He explains what needs to be done in a way that I can understand and provides quality work at honest pricing. Christine has also been there to answer my questions and give recommendations. When I needed tires for my car she did not quote the most expensive brand but rather recommended a quality brand at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend this business to anyone who is looking for an honest reliable mechanic.

In the service writing class I took when learning how to work on diesel trucks, I was taught that when someone has a bad experience with a company, they tell up to seven times more people about it than when they have a pleasant and enjoyable experience. That may be why writing a review never occurred to me until now. At J's they take pride in their work as if it was their own vehicle. They aren't out to get you and your money so to speak. They have fantastic pricing for the elite level of service they provide. If you dont understand something there is always someone who is more than happy to explain in a way that even the least mechanically inclined can understand. They are also very accommodating and tailor every interaction as needed to provide a smooth ride from start to finish so you can enjoy a smooth ride once you leave. If you live in the Hatfield area, i highly recommend J's Auto Service for all of your car and truck repairs. They make finding an honest and caring service center easier than ever.

I FINALLY found an amazing auto service that does a great job and can trust!My car was driving loud, we figured it had something to do with my tires and while at lunch I asked the server if she had any recommendations because I was completely frustrated with who I have been using in the past.She told me she had been going to J's Auto Service for years and have always been happy with them.I was leaving town for a few days and figured this was the best time to drop it off and try them out.My husband and I walked in and a woman came to the counter to help us, we explained the problem and she immediately asked if she could take it around the corner, we said no problem. Within minutes, she pretty much diagnosed what was wrong so we left my car in their hands. My car is 11 years old, I'll get a new engine before getting rid of her, so of course there will be issues but J's Auto Service took good care of her.While out of town my husband was my liaison, Christine was very detailed with what had to be done and called him with every update.After having multiple things needing fixing I was very pleasantly surprised at the price! By no means was it cheap but it was definitely not what I have experienced in the past, VERY reasonable!I can't say enough how pleased I am that we tried then and how happy I am with how my car is driving now, I feel like I'm driving a new car!!!Thank you Christine and dad John, you have just gained two new customers and trust me the word will go around!!!

Wonderful place to have your car serviced. Staff is helpful and friendly. I did not have to wait for hours to get my car back. They also have this great service where they text you a video of the work that needs to be done to your car. It is SUPER helpful and gave me the trust and confidence I wanted in a business. Highly recommend!! The videos, photos, and contact are awesome, have never seen this with a car service.Service: General repairs & maintenance

The engine blew on my car and I had it towed here. They went out of their way to look at the car within a day and directed me to the Hyundai dealership because of a recall on the car.. I wasn t sure where to go and they really really helped me out they even had the car towed to the dealership for me this is best customer service I ve ever had when it came to my car Super nice and super fast. They keep you updated and give you all the options that s best for you. Totally recommend this dealership they will give you the best price and best quality of service.Service: Engine repair

My car's engine has a history of timing chain problems, so when it started running rough I suspected the worst. Turned out to be true, but J's took the time to check all other possibilities before jumping into a major repair. They did an excellent job of keeping me up to date on status and patiently explained all the related technical issues. I like a place where the owners do the work and stand behind it. Very experienced and knowledgeable, I would definitely recommend.Service: Engine repair

J s does excellent work and the prices are fair. But what I like best about them is their customer service.They are always so nice and accommodating to me. They take the time to explain to me what is going on with the car, what it needs and doesn t need. They also send a video of their repairs before and after just to show what they did.J s obviously cares about their customers and it is the main reason I will continue to go to them.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

I took a new car to J's to have some parts installed and to get an inspection done. It was a holiday so I didn't expect it back for a few days. They were able to get it back to me incredibly fast and at a very fair price. The atmosphere at J's is very welcoming. It's the kind of place that makes you feel like family as soon as you walk in the door. Most importantly they do excellent work and will absolutely take care of you as a customer. I can't recommend them enough.

Js did a great job on my inspection and tire replacement. Even went above and beyond to vacuum a mess in my back seat! I might be moving soon but if not I will be using them going forward. I ve been taking both our cars to J s for over 11 years now. They really know what they re doing! They ve fixed several issues with more practical solutions after other shops had proposed far more expensive complete replacements (transmission, etc)! After these experiences, I've really come to trust John, Jim, Christine and their team. Quality of work and customer service are also excellent. My current SUV now has over 125,000 miles with no major issues thanks in large part to preventative maintenance over the years at J s.

I was from out of town and broke down. I had my car towed here because reviews seemed good. When I got there late in evening the business across the street was open and the man working on their fleet Vehicles when asked about Jay's service told me they use him and have always had great service. Jay's got me in right away,, in an emergency situation kept me updated. Everyone was super nice and the work was great. When I called about some questions with a battery/ alternator problem Jim, Jays son, welcomed me to come back over and checked it out, tested parts, free of charge. Excellent experience. Family business but very professional and personable. Can't recommend it enough.

I had a great experience at J's and will definitely be using them going forward. They worked with me as far as time frames to get my car looked at, and were upfront with what I should do and why. They communicated well in the beginning and throughout so I never had any surprises. If you are looking for a shop that truly cares about their customers experience, performs quality work, and has reasonable prices - I HIGHLY recommend J s Auto Service Inc. Over the years I ve struggled to find a mechanic shop where I felt like I wasn t being taken advantage of. When I went to J s for repairs many years ago, I finally felt like I could breathe a sigh of relief.I recently moved out of the area and when it came time for inspection, I tried taking my car in at a new shop closer to me... Only to be ripped off, scammed, and completely inconvenienced. I immediately took my car back to J s and they had it done in less than a days time and I was on my way. Even though it is over an hour away for me now, J s Auto Service will always be the only shop I trust for my car. Always choose quality & trustworthiness over convenience! Their honesty, quality of service, and professionalism is so appreciated.

Went in thinking my engine needed major work and was anticipating a huge repair cost.Christine called and told me the mechanic found some minor issues that were the cause of my problems and NOT what I thought!! They are excellent and the video system they have is very impressive! I am glad I found this place after moving in the area! I have already brought my car to them 2 times, and they do not disappoint! They do an Excellent job and are fast with the repairs.I had a clunk noise coming from my car for almost a year. I had multiple locations look into the issue, but none were able to find it. The found it right away and one of the things I love about this place is they upload videos showing you what/where the issue is in your vehicle! Very impressive! I highly recommend this place and will be returning for future service.

Had a very large job that need to be done, J's not only did a great job, they worked with the extended warranty company to get the entire job covered to where all I had to pay was my deductible. Christine at the front desk did a great job keeping me in the loop and making the right calls to the warranty company. The job itself took three weeks, the engine had to be taken apart. and they would not of known if what they did worked until they put it back together and started my truck back up. All in all a very professional and reliable place to bring your car. And a big THANK YOU to the entire staff at J's

J s Auto has been my go to local shop for the past year, every interaction has been nothing but outstanding. Easy to get a hold of via phone and if they re busy be sure to expect a very prompt return phone call. I ve gone here for both large and small jobs requiring welding and the mechanics were very honest and straight forward. I've had nothing but good experiences at J's Auto since I started going there. In one visit they were able to diagnose and repair an oil leak that other shops kept "fixing" after multiple visits. They have loaner cars that you can use if they're available which is super helpful since my husband and I work far from each other and can't carpool when I need repairs, inspections, etc. I would definitely recommend taking your vehicle here. It seems like there's an honest crew of people here making sure your car is safe to drive and that you're well taken care of.

I am not an expert when it comes to auto care and leave it all to my husband ! I always brace myself going into a car dealer or mechanic and prepare myself mentally for the oncoming pushy attitude for the work that needs to be done! At J s I was pleasantly surprised! Christine is great and blew me away with her knowledge and customer friendly response! Instead, she helped figure out what I needed and wasn t pushing me to commit to anything and gave me the flexibility to choose without pressure. I accidentally found J's Auto Service by just googling for any auto repair service providers near my area. Then I encountered all the positive reviews from other customers and decided to pay a visit. I am very glad I did. They take the time to thoroughly listen to the customer's concerns and also take the time to explain why things happen and what can be done about it. They also took detailed effort and time to methodically work to diagnose and pinpoint the issue out of many potential culprits. They do not try to sell you unnecessary service as part of guesswork. They actually work hard to pinpoint the main culprit(s) and are extremely honest. It is quite difficult to find such an honest service provider who is also highly competent when it comes to auto repairs, skilled, and knowledgeable. They have me now as their loyal customer for life. Just as FYI, my car now runs like smooth, silky butter. Couldn't be more satisfied with their dedicated work and repair price. Go J's Auto Service Team!!!! Thanks so much you guys (and gal -- Christine, you were awesome!)

I took delivery of a Tesla Model 3 recently and was a little surprised to learn that Tesla itself isn't licensed to do vehicle inspections yet in PA. I called my local car place to see if they would do the inspection and they refused to even take a look at it. After reading the positive reviews for J's Auto on google I figured I'd give them a call. Spoke to John and although he didn't have any previous experience with full electrics he was more than willing to take a look at it.The next week I brought it in and John had done his research and took great care of the car, even using the red bump pucks at the jack points for added protection when it was up on the lift. If you're a new Tesla owner and need a place in PA to get your inspection look no further! Overall very happy with the service and will definitely use J's Auto in the future, thank you!!
