I highly recommend this garage. Family owned and such great customer service. Very nice, accommodating and stand by their repairs. I trust them completely. Will never leave this business. (I hope they never close or change hands).

I can't say enough about the professionalism! I've been driving for 40 years, (2 years ago moved into the area) and have never felt as safe and informed about my car. Desiree, Joe and the rest of the team are a pleasure. When you find a great service, stay with it...this is it for me!

Honest repair shop with reasonable pricing. Joe and Desiree will always be transparent with what NEEDS to be repaired in your vehicle Vs what is recommended. It's very difficult to find trust in this industry as a customer, and they've been reliable since I've been going there the last two years. Car runs great because of them. I would highly recommend

This place is great. They have a nice loaner car. fast service. Thorough. Good explanations of what is going on, without mansplaining, and they don t try to sell me a bunch of unnecessary repairs! Franconia Auto Repair was my best mechanic experience to date! Starting from the scheduling all the way through to the speedy and efficient return of my car, working with the folks there was a breeze. They were extremely thorough while looking over my car and provided detailed feedback (including pictures and informational videos) about what needed to be done immediately and in the future. I was provided with a detailed quote and timeline for upcoming repairs as well. Overall, I am very glad to have found this place and look forward to having my car serviced there in the future.

The level of incompetence at this shop almost caused major damage to ourselves and people around us. The vehicle was returned after spending $1300 with NO BRAKES! Almost caused a very serious accident which they would have been 100% liable.From the moment the vehicle was picked up it was not operating properly after calling and complaining we were told to bring it back in however before we could the calipers came loose while traveling and almost cause a very serious accident.This shop has no issue telling you what is wrong with you vehicle or charging higher then average labor and part costs but they do seem to have issues with completing a job correctly.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP IF YOU CARE ABOUT QUALITY OF SERVICE OR SAFETY.

I moved to hatfield in 2015, I tried 2 other auto shops before I found these guys.I literally have never been happier with any other company. If your looking for reliable, professional,Quality and honesty then you need to come here. They are amazing.They go above and beyond for us. They always back up anything they find wrong. I get and email with pictures, and description. They will take the time to talk you through everything and anything you need to know. Desire� works the front office and I absolutely love her. She goes above and beyond to help us out. She takes the time for us and I always look forward to talking with her. I had an issue with mice nesting in my hood and not only did the guys take care of it and clean it all out, they sprayed special stuff all around to help keep them away. I live near a lot of woods so it happens. Desire� went and not only explained special products for me to keep up with that maintenance but, she also emailed the information to me in case I forgot. Nice group of people, they re usually not too busy so it s easy to get your vehicle in to get serviced without waiting. PA inspection is only $102 including sticker and fees. Parts can be pricey if you need anything, but they re honest about labor and don t gouge. Definitely recommend if you re local.

Car repairs are typically unplanned, and often come at inconvenient times. My latest issue was all of the above � 1000. During the passing of a close family member, my cars dashboard lit up like a christmas tree. After a quick diagnosis at the dealer, we learned that it was the timing chain, something replaced at Franconia in November 2021. When I shared the issue, Joe at Franconia asked me to bring it in. He reviewed the issue and confirmed the parts were faulty and he would take care of it. Not only did he and his staff fix the issue and take ownership of the problem, but he got it done a week early at no cost!! The compassion he and his staff showed during an already stressful time has earned them a customer for life!!

Extremely hospitable. You get the vibe of a local owned shop where people actually care and not just see you as a number. Clean shop, clean waiting area and a friendly people. A little customer service goes a long way.Highly recommend this shop for your car services.

This is a next level place. They are extremely professional. I have used many other repair shops over the 30 years I have been driving and these people are the most thorough. They have a loaner car that is super helpful. They do a 30 or 40 point inspection and text you a link to a detailed report about the overall health of your car. They show you pictures of what is wrong, even pictures of your fluid on a napkin next to new fluid so you can actually see how your fluid has gotten darker over time. They rate everything, for example, my brake fluid was a 5 out of 10 so they marked it as something that needs to be addressed but not critical. My wiper blades were marked critical because they were not functioning correctly. I had them fix a lot of stuff on my older ford escape. suspension, steering, EGR valve, oil pressure sender, AC, wiper blades, etc. They even cleaned my engine so we could see if there were any leaks that got missed. When I opened my hood to check my oil it looked like a new car! Its 20 years old. Had both my car and my wife's at Franconia Auto Repair last week. Scheduling for us was a bit tricky, but Desiree made it all work out. Inspection, oil changed and tire rotations all take care of. One of the mechanics did the road test of the vehicle by taking me to work.Cabin air filter in my wife's car needed to be replaced. They got me a fair quote. When the wrong part showed up they let me know. Another part was available but at 4 times the cost. Franconia Auto has been servicing my personal vehicles and commercial fleet for years. It s safe to say that they are the reason that my 20+ year old work truck is still on the road today and not in a junkyard!They are honest, affordable, and reliable. Desiree and Joe are always at the ready to answer all questions and provide the best service around. 10/10 would recommend!!

I have been a customer of Franconia Auto for going on 20 years now. They are the most honest, reliable, professional, efficient and friendly auto repair shop I've ever used. They will go above and beyond to make sure your car is in tip top condition. They don't recommend work that doesn't need to be done and they'll help you to prioritize repairs if your budget is a little tight. The work is always first rate and if you have a concern, they will work with you to iron it out. Both of my daughters are grown and now they bring their cars to Franconia Auto. I've been a customer to Joe and his team for about 5 years now and it's been the best experience with a mechanic I've ever had. They've gotten me out of more than one jam over the years and my old car runs like one far newer despite all the wear and tear I've put on it. This team is very honest and willing to go out of their way to save you a headache even if it causes them one or two. Franconia Auto is top notch. They are very honest and reliable. I have done everything from general maintenance and repairs, to some custom service on both my personal and work vehicles. The custom services are the type which you would not get from any other auto service center. The whole experience from the initial contact with Desiree the office manager, to Joe the owner was nothing short of exceptional. My battery light came on so I stopped in to see if a mechanic could look at the car. I explained that I was not from the area so the owner (Joe) asked one of his mechanics to begin diagnosing the problem and shortly thereafter determined it was a bad alternator. They ordered the part and installed it in a day so I was able to get back on the road. Their business is very clean and organized, and to my surprise they have fully embraced social media and the latest technology to keep my informed on the progress of my repair through texting. Desire' and Joe were very pleasant to work with. If I lived in the area (Hatfield, PA) I would be comfortable having my car along with my family's cars worked on by Joe and his team.Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

Dropped off my car yesterday at 10am for an oil change. Didn t hear from them all day so i called before they close. I was told to pick up my car and drop off another day because they were too busy. Didn t call earlier to let me know they couldn t do it. I could ve taken my car to another place.Edit: I received a call to take down my review. When i refused to take it down desiree was loud, mean and she ridiculed my profession. I d give 0 stars if I could.

Took my box truck to this place. They put the tires on backwards and couldn t find why my check engine light was on. When I took my truck back to get the tires put on correctly he said come back in the spring or a warmer day. I don t want to make my guys work out in the cold weather. It s been at his shop three times costing me almost 4000.00. I then take it to Bergeys truck and fleet. They found the problem and I had it back in three days. This place is a joke. Do not take your car or truck to Franconia auto and truck repair.Services: Electrical repair, Tires, Brake service & repair

Franconia Auto saved me $5100!!! I had a tire issue and took my 2009 Chevy Tahoe to my usual mechanic shop. They put two new tires on and called it good. Next day I hear and feel a whomp type noise and rough ride feeling so I take it back to the shop. They tell me I need a NEW TRANSMISSION. This can t be I say to myself. Franconia auto came to mind because they did some custom exhaust work on my kids cars. THANK GOODNESS I got a second opinion from them because all it was just the transfer case making noise with mismatched tires. They put two new tires on and bam no more issues. Franconia auto is now my go to every time auto shop.Services: Transmission, Tires, General repairs & maintenance

Being closest to me, this was my first choice when I moved into town. The employees are great, very communicative, and pricing is fair. Whenever an estimate seems high due to supplier costs, they always* give me the heads up and tell me to price around just in case. This is the type of service that makes me trust them with my vehicle.

I recently took my vehicle in for a small repair job. The owner Joe was courteous and helpful. Later that day I found out a family member had a outstanding balance that was unpaid. I apologized for that person. And I was embarrassed. I was not treated differently because of that. Desiree was professional and on point! Thanks guys for making me feel comfortable. And for the reasonable price on the repairs.

I have gone here over the years with various cars-I have never been disappointed! They are not only reasonable,they take the time to explain what they did or what needs to be done. I have never found them to attempt to have me agree to work that wasn't necessary. I love going there-they make you feel like family & Joe,the owner,& his son Joey as well as Desiree always make you feel welcome. Everyone there is wonderful!

I just had my car inspected there and they did a great job. Fast appointment, courteous and no inspection games. Not like the place down the street who told me I need new wipers to pass inspection. I bought them and they never worked well and fell off twice.Franconia AR did a great job and gave me some free advice for removing the glazing from my break pad to stop them from squeaking and two tires quotes. Thanks Joey, I will definitely be back. I'd give them 5 stars but nobodies perfect...mom said;)

The staff at Franconia Auto repair is very professional and do an outstanding job. I used to take my cars to the dealer and they invariably "found" things that didn't really need work or over charged for regular maintenance. And even then, the work was not done correctly. Not so with these guys.Franconia Auto does a thorough job of checking out your car top to bottom and get the job done right the first time. All at a very reasonable price. From scheduling to delivery, the whole process is painless and professional. And they are CLEAN! A huge plus in my book.

Really impressed with the customer service here! Brought my Fiat in for an oil change and they went through the whole car and showed me pictures of what else they found. Everytime i was on the phone with Desiree she was easy to speak to. I live in Hatfield & my wife works there. We have gone to Joe at Franconia Auto forever! They take the time to tell you what they are going to do,work you need to think about,& they have never been anything but upfront & honest. They have gone above & beyond in working w/both our schedules when working on either vehicle-as far as picking us up,dropping us back etc. They treat you like family & always find time to help or explain things to you. Desiree in front makes you feel comfortable & is always good for a smile! I will always recommend them to my friends & family!

I came in with a broken down car and a big job needed, and Joe and Desiree were very kind, accommodating and professional. I didn't know where to take the car to get the job done because it's a pretty big repair, Firestone doesn't do it, I wouldn't trust Pep Boys to work on it, and I wanted a place close by. I first called Godshall's down the street, and the guy who answered there was pretty frank/rude and said they wouldn't be able to even look at it for a few days. On the other hand, Joe and Desiree were able to get this done quickly and around the holidays no less, which was great.The price was pretty high, not because of the cost of labor, but the parts were almost 3 times higher than I could get myself. They did say I could buy them myself and have them do the work, but to get the napa 2 year warranty, I had to use their parts or else there was no guarantee. I decided to go with their parts for the extra $500-600 (this was over a $2k job) for the warranty and peace of mind. I also met the mechanic who did the job and he was a nice guy.Overall this not the worst experience during a stressful breakdown requiring a big job. I will admit that the price of parts did raise my anxiety some being that this was around Christmas and the high price of parts was a tough pill for me to swallow. Hence the 4 stars instead of 5. However, I requested a small discount to help out with the big bill and Joe obliged, and the people at the shop were good to deal with. Most importantly, the repair seems to be holding up so far about 5 months in.

Was up against it today with some car trouble and they really helped me out. Was able to squeeze me in on a busy day and gave me all types of different pricing options for fixing the problem. Super professional and thorough in their diagnostic. Good to know there is a place like this in the area. They ll be my go to from now on for my family s cars.

A family owned business, reliable and trustworthy. They will let you know what needs to be done and work with you to prioritize repairs. My car was having trouble and needed major work. They let me know what I needed to do right away and what could wait. I was able to get the other things done a few months later. Their preventive care is great, I have an older car and they have kept me on the road for 4 years now.
