The service at Faulkner Subaru Service Center had always been fantastic, the people are polite and the prices are decent (for a dealership).Lately, however, the wait times for simple things have increased dramatically. My guess is that they're over-scheduling the mechanics in order to stick to a traditional 1st shift schedule (which is great).Also, as I live an hour away, I don't want several trips to fix collision damage as the body shop won't coordinate with the service shop, or me, the customer.I applaud Subaru respecting their employees' work-life balance, which they should ALWAYS do. However, the next step is to balance back in best practices. Leave some mechanic time unscheduled each day to cover customer needs. It's not like the unscheduled time won't be filled with billable work.Also, how hard is it to coordinate with the body shop for collision damage? If the body shop is over-scheduled or incompetent, then out-source.One last thing: when there's a design flaw, admit it. Don't just tell the customer that there's nothing wrong. We can be patient for the next model year improvement. But, a customer constantly trying to diagnose an issue has a deleterious affect on Faulkner's brand as a dealer and on Subaru itself.

Had my car inspection. Waited on me right away. Everyone very courteous. Had coffee while I waited. Best of all, they washed my car.

Declined my warranty on my failed engine and wanted $1600 to "inspect" it to see if they might cover it. I knew better than pay that and cut my losses. They also charged me $116 for service I did not ask for and they should have known that disconnecting a battery would clear all codes. Not to mention I provided them with the codes prior to disconnecting my battery due to fire risk. Not to mention possible violation of the magnuson-moss act. Also last year they mounted a snow tire backwards with the "inside" label facing out. I would HIGHLY recommend not using them. They do poor work and will try to take advantage of people that aren't knowledgeable about cars.Service: General repairs & maintenance
