Got my car inspected today along with an oil change. Trenton was just awesome! He kept me informed about my car and was just a pleasure in general to work with. This was my second time there and I will definitely be a repeat customer

Went to this shop my last 3 or so years living in Harrisburg. Steve and his crew are an awesome, honest bunch that do great work. They were always thorough and never tried to nickeland dime me (looking at you, Meineke), and always did everything they could to help me out. I ll honestly miss going here I hope I can find a shop like this in my new city. Thank you guys for everything y all rock \m/.

Tire problems hundreds of miles from home - Steve Morden was amazing! Emergencies prompt unscrupulous vendors to pounce. But it was just the opposite here. Their only focus was getting me rolling as quickly, safely and economically as possible. Have to hand them kudos for amazing customer service!

I can t say enough great things about Steve and the team at Monroe in Harrisburg.I called at 2:30 on a Wednesday and scheduled an appointment for Sunday. When I told Steve my brakes were making a grinding sound , he told me he didn t want me waiting that long and told me to come in the day.Even though they were busy he and the team got me in and got my brakes done so I could safely travel the next day.I have always had great experiences here but this time they went above and beyond.

I originally took my vehicle to the dealership for an inspection. After being quoted a ridiculously large amount for repairs, my sister recommended that I tried Monro Auto. I called and spoke to Mike, who was able to squeeze me in the same day. It was an honor to be service by Glenn, who was able to explain in detail, what repairs my vehicle required. He personally went to pick up the part, needed for my vehicle, and installed it very quickly. Mike quoted me a price that was $500 less than the quote I received from the dealership. I was only there for an hour and a half from start to finish. I would highly recommend if you are looking for honest mechanics and reasonable pricing.

I bought a car battery at Advance Auto Parts (as sort of a preventive maintenance measure, since my existing car battery was 7 years old and *still worked completely fine*). Advance will usually install a battery for free but could not since my car required a hose to be moved. Called this Monroe (across the street) and asked if they could install my car battery for me. I was rudely told I would have to drop the car off no matter what. No matter how long into the future I wanted to schedule it, I would have to drop it off and could not wait while they worked on it. They would get to it, when they get to it , essentially. This is for a simple battery install... Guy was super unprofessional on the phone and basically said it was only him and one other guy working there, and that unless they knew me personally they don t do work on the spot or make appointments. I even asked if I could schedule it one month out, nope. I ended up installing the battery myself, which took about two hours. Was worth it.

Broke down hundreds of miles from home. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Confirmed by email online 8am appointment but told there appointment system was broke on arrival prior to 8am. Vehicle was not serviced until early afternoon. Facility promised repair that day, diagnosis was wrong they said everything was ok. Drove off and within 2 miles the same issue of no charging and dropping voltage. When I came back a few minutes later I was told the alternator would be replaced and they would have it completed that day. Came back hours later and the manager said they didn't get to it. Then went in back and got the replacement alternator and my keys and slid them across the desk to me. Did not offer any apologies or offer any solution. Avoid this facility at all costs!!!

This location ruined my car drove my car 50+ miles when asked why they would need to do so no explanation was given also let them know my heat shield was hanging down on my car he stated to bring my car in to check any1 with common sense would not do that. I called there corp office who sent me to there insurance company Travelers who then undermined every bit of facts I could use to prove my case. How do you state a ding in my door as prior damage but fail to state tape was holding up my heat shield that eventually fell down which makes my car non drivable. I will be sueing these people. Please stay away from this location at all cost or any Monro for that matter.

Monro is excellent and the go to solution for my cars regular maintenance needs. Whether it be routine oil changes or inspections monro is my go to place. Excellent customer service and quality work is always done. Steve is amazing at this spot as well and treats customers with respect and courtesy! My go to place !

Steve and his crew did a great job with my wife's vehicle today. Inspection, oil change, new tires at a reasonable price and got it done when they said it would be done. Been doing business with them going on 5 or more years and plan on coming back.

My go-to place for my car for over 2 years now! I haven't had any issues thus far and just got serviced today. Everyone there is very friendly, honest, and super helpful when I've had questions in the past. Definitely recommend

Monro on Allentown Blvd is always able to get my car in and out fast with friendly customer service. When I call they can often get me in same-day or within 24 hours.

Steve and his crew were able to take care of my immediate need (headlight replacement) and got me scheduled timely for other service! Prices are very reasonable and they are all very friendly. On this next visit my bearing hub assembly got replaced. It surely was the right thing to do. My car is now riding smoother than it ever has before. Many thanks Monro!!

Steve and Pete were great! I was the first customer and did not have an appointment. My catalytic converter had rusted and was scraping the ground. They took me in and welded it for me. They were also playing 1980s music (my era) and gave me a cigarette! I will go back there anytime!

2-7-2021 Update: Not the same level of integrity now that the former Manager Gregg has left. I am changing my rating from 5-stars to 3-stars.Original review:I really appreciate the Manager Greg and the other guys at this location. I also really like them. I began taking my old faithful 1998 ride to them a few years ago after going to a competitor a short drive down the road for many years. At Monro I have never needed to return to have a "repair" repaired, which happened at the competitor multiple times. And talk about the difference in wait time. The guys at Monro don't take their time to complete a job in order to justify a bloated labor charge. If I call and schedule an appointment my car is usually brought in the garage by a technician within 5 -15 minutes of my arrival. A larger operation with more car bays, lifts and techs does not mean faster service. I just had a repair and an oil change done at Monro before Christmas and was absolutely amazed at how quickly my car was in and out. They also do not recommend unnecessary work. I once asked about having a specific maintenance done based on something I read on an automobile blog and the tech honestly advised me it was not needed.
