I've been taking my cars here for the past couple of years, and one thing I like about them is their transparency. I appreciate the fact that if they are not able to work on your car, on the appointed date, they will let you know. Their full car checkup is also pretty nice, they give you the opportunity to approve or decline any recommendations that they have made, and will provide you with an estimate, which you can take to either shop around or fix any of the recommended repairs on your own. Just remember, the recommended repairs are optional, and you do not have to commit to them. Things can be a bit pricey, but like I said, you can decline repairs and save yourself some money by finding more affordable options.The staff is pretty friendly, and they are always willing to answer any questions you may have.

Went to another auto body shop PRIOR to calling Mike at Meineke. The other auto body shop was taking forever and could even give me a time when my brakes would be checked and replaced. I called Mike at Meineke, he got me in right away, was super professional and friendly. Pricing was great and Ronald did a great job on the vehicle. They have earned my business for life. Would highly recommend them to anyone needing any vehicle Services!

My experience was not as positive as I had hoped. I purchased a car that has been out of inspection since 2019. The vehicle has under 80 thousand miles. When I called to discuss my vehicle I was placed on hold, was told that I would be called back. Hour later received a call. However when I was there in person the people calling in took priority over the two of us waiting in the lobby. There needs to be better organization and prioritizing when it comes to the service writers. I have spent over 17 years in the maintenance field in the Military. I would expect alot more of a reputable company such as Meineke. My dad always spoke so highly of them I decided to give them a try. I have not yet decided if I will be back or not. If anyone has any further questions regarding this review I'm happy to discuss.

Really speedy service, I was able to get in on short notice and work was done quickly. Mike was very helpful, made the whole process very straightforward and easy, answered all my questions, wasn t pushy and didn t get flustered when I called my dad for his input (not all shops seem to like that!). When I had a question after the work was done and I had driven away everyone was also super helpful. Great service, super convenient, great experience! Thanks!

While I was traveling, the check engine light came on and the car was not operating properly. Luckily for me this Meineke was nearby and Mike was able to get me in right away. The mechanics did an excellent job diagnosing and fixing my vehicle. They were conscious of the fact that I was traveling and got me back on the road as soon as possible. The diagnostics they performed were so thorough that it not only correctly identified the issues causing the check engine light and poor performance, but it also brought, to my attention, about 8 other non-urgent issues and maintenance suggestions.I witnessed Mike interact with multiple customers, always being as helpful as possible truly excellent at his job. The mechanics are excellent as they are thorough, skilled, and efficient. The waiting area was nice and accommodating including comfortable chairs, clean water and coffee machines, and a clean bathroom.I could not be happier with my experience here.

Extremely friendly, Very helpful, customer service was amazing and helped me fix my car. They explained my situation thoroughly and they provided me financial options if needed . They kept in contact updating me about everything with my vehicle. They were able to assist with every issue as soon as possible to help get my car on the road. I truly appreciate the team and all their hard work .

I usually take my car to the dealership but couldn t get an appointment in time to renew my inspection. Meineke was able to get me in the same day, performed inspection, then called right away with their results. They were very informative and knowledgeable and explained things to me so I would understand what was needed and what wasn t. I had my car back in less than 24 hours and it s running great! Although I was lucky enough not to need this option but, they have several repayment and credit options to pay for the higher priced services. It was an easy and stress free experience!

Overall great experience! I was conveniently able to go online and book an appointment for the same day for an inspection and emissions. Found coupons on their website as well which I m always a fan of, especially since I couldn t find the one I received in the mail! Once I arrived within 5 minutes they had a technician pulling my car in to start the inspection and emissions test. They were very thorough and sent me a link to view all of the photos that were taken and had detailed information on all parts and components of my car. I did need my car fixed in order to pass which was something I did know about from the previous year it just did not need it done yet until now and they thankfully we able to provide me with a loner vehicle and they received the part and fixed my car the next morning! Truly appreciate the quick turnaround and not having to go without a vehicle so I could still get to work with no problem! My car is running perfectly and the guys there are great!

Mike Stein was very professional at His position I like how he set me down to explain how my vehicle will be taken care of by showing me on the computer and printouts to my phones, and he made sure that my vehicle was in good hands with his team The service that he provided was very suitable to my needs And I was very pleased of the outcome. This location was very convenient for me so if I ever need service done to my vehicle, I know where to go (Meineke.) I would recommend to anyone to go there at the Jonestown Rd. location.

Excellent interpersonal skills from Mike! Also, very detailed explanation of services needed. Eaten was extremely thorough in his assessment and conveyed his findings without the pressure that usually comes from auto repair shops. Overall the most quality experience I ve had. Will definitely return and recommend to everyone!!!

We went there for our car inspection, but did not know that we were signing up for very unpleasant experience. DO NOT fall for MIKE S I want to help you out . I understand there were things that need our attention, but Mike was pushing for us to get it done and kept emphasizing their PAYMENT PLAN. He pointed out that I have to replace my windshield wipers to pass the inspection and wanted to charge $50 PER WIPER!!! Once I brought my own wipers, MR. MIKE was looking through the window to see if I fail. He is so rude that once he saw me struggling changing the adaptor, He came out and made a comment Can t figure it out, huh? I read other reviews about MIKE and it s sad that Owner or Franchise has not taken any action or given a warning to MIKE for his attitude towards Meineke customers. He also seems to target more of female customers to SCAM. Just an honest review. FEMALES please take a male with you if you go there.

This is an honest review from a real experience. I have anxiety when I deal with Meineke so I won t be anymore. I PRE PAID FOR A NEW part and they put in a USED one. Mike s words were: Mam, we had to pay more for that used part to get it in here to help you pass inspection than you did for the new part. Read that. I m sure that has to be against some rules right? When I came to get my vehicle I asked Mike for another invoice. He said: Didn t I already give that to you? I explained I had lost it and needed another copy emailed to me. He said okay and never did. So. Needless to say I won t be going back. I am looking into this further. The owner can come on this and say whatever they want in defense of this post. However it s an honest review. Ladies bring a male with you, I found that Mike was far less condescending to me when I brought someone with me. I gave 2 stars because my car was still running when I picked it up. The loss of 3 stars is in the overall experience made me feel cheated and not valued as a customer.

This is the Best place I have ever been to! Very accommodating for a walk in pull change and extremely thorough in their inspection showing pictures of any issues found. They also have multiple plans to pay for issues found no matter your situation. I would absolutely come back again and again

The manager Mike and everyone at Meineke have been great and helped me handle a very stressful situation with my car repairs. I was a first time customer and will now be taking all my future cars here.This shop has been extremely transparent with everything going on with the vehicle, the pricing, and the explanations of what was going on with my car. The online portal they have showed pictures of the problems along with explanations so I could stay in the loop and trust what they were saying. They also helped me accessing towing and financing where otherwise I wouldn't have known where to start.I first called when my car had broken down on the side of the road with a smoking engine, oil leaks, and it wouldn't start. I didn't know what to do. I called and Mike gave me the number to get a tow truck and I was able to get it towed to them within a few hours for only $8 because I was slightly out of their complementary range. Other tow companies were quoting me at over $100. Once the car was towed to them, they were able to get the car up and running very quickly and were able to diagnose in 2 days problems another shop couldn't diagnose in 2 weeks. As new damages were discovered throughout the process of getting the car up and running for tests, they were upfront about bad news and got my authorization to move forward with every step. The car came to them in extremely rough shape and I didn't think it would ever start again. It still isn't perfect due to preexisting damage, but it now drives noticeably better than before and has made it much farther than it ever has without breaking down. I believe they got it to the best condition possible in regards to the condition it came in.As a woman bringing in a car by herself, I never felt talked down to or taken advantage of like I have at other repair shops. I highly recommend this location.

Made an appointment for some repairs. Was able to get my car repaired same day. Mike was great. He was very knowledgeable about the repairs and services needed. Great customer service. Will definitely be using Meineke for all my car needs.

A rainy Saturday was a bad day to get a flat tire. Fortunately I was in the Colonial Park area not far from Meineke. I called and spoke with Mike. He assured me they could get it taken care of before they closed. With our vehicle being AWD, all the tires needed to be replaced to prevent damage to the differential with different diameter tires. Long story short, he ordered the tires, mounted them, and aligned them as promised. They gave me a loaner to use in the meantime. All in all, I could not be happier with the good service I got at Meineke on 4509 Jonestown Road across from the old Colonial Park Mall. Five stars for sure - deservedly so. Highly recommend!

Mike, Buddy, Joe, and Chris are amazing! Thanks to Ford and their faulty design, I had parts of a belt shred and block my engine from getting the proper amounts of oil. Buddy talked me through how to get my car home, despite it being after hours! He genuinely cared about my safety and my daughter s safety. Once at the shop, they performed top notch service and provided updates every step of the way! My warranty company was beyond frustrating to deal with, but Mike was willing to deal with them and sometimes even hours at a time. Every step of the way someone was there guiding me, providing pictures/explanations, and being very transparent about time and money involved. I was given the option to opt out of maintenance that didn t need absolutely done. Chris did a fantastic job on my car! I went from hating my car at drop off, to feeling like I had a brand new car when leaving. Chris reconstructed my engine and completely replaced the oil pump. Most shops took 10weeks - 6 months (based on reviews of other Ford customers with the same issue). Meineke had the job done in 2 weeks and did an AMAZING job!! I will always be going back to this shop!

Arrived without an appointment for a company car for state inspection and oil change. During appointment I had the brakes checked out and needed replacement along with tires. They work efficiently to make progress move quickly to avoid down time by getting other things completed while tires were being delivered. I was more than happy with the level of professionalism showed here by staff.

Overall my experience with Meineke was an A+. From the customer service to the step by step communication via text letting me know what was going on with my vehicle. I've already referred them to several people. They're definitely my new mechanics!!!

I brought my car in for an oil change and in Meineke s thorough inspection of my car they found some other concerns. Mike was able to keep my car and have it fixed within a day and a half and help with the financing so I had no worries about fixing the issues right away! Overall the entire staff was friendly and great guys to work with and I will definitely bring my car back for future visits

I will start by saying the technician working on my vehicle was quick and knowledgeable. But management was not. I received a printed quote of what needed to be done with pricing. Came back the next day to get the work done only one of a few problems were fixed and charged higher than what was priced and printed before. Also they misdiagnosed my vehicle and tried to up-sale me on parts I know I did not need once they figured out their mistake.

This was my first time visiting Meineke and I will be returning! The employ I talked to over the phone and at the center was very helpful and informative. I received a free tire rotation, car health check, and photos along with my oil change. Prices were great and I highly recommend their services!

Mike was great! He explains everything for a woman's perspective. They take photos of your car and show you comparisons with the way its supposed to look. If they can save you money, they will go out of their way to help you. Highly recommend them.

Most people will deal with a good customer service rep during a transaction, but the entire staff -from techs to managers- are courteous, professional, and compassionate. While no one likes unexpected maintenance costs, it s part of owning a vehicle, and the Meineke team on Jonestown in Harrisburg ensure you only get what you need, pay a low and reasonable cost, know what you need to know, and remain informed with picture-proof throughout the process. This is my third year in a row across 4 vehicles and they ve never let me down. A+.

They have great customer service, but I found them very expensive for repairs compare to others. After inspection I was given estimate for repairs. I immediately felt there is something wrong. I decided to shop around and find out that for the same job their cost was 3 times higher than other mechanic shops like Midas. They were charging some unrealistic labor hours for a job which can be done in few hours. It would be best to get few estimates before committing.

I went to this place to get the inspecci�n done on 02/06/24I will not recommend this place to anyone.I waited 2 hours and 45 mints. They told me 1 hr &1/2They come to me and said that 9 different things have to be done on the vehicle.I told them. I will have my husband look at it.When I told the person (Mike) I don t think this things have nothing to do with the inspection, he replied well if you don t have the money to do this things now, we have a payment plan.More crazy, he said to me, well today if you want to have the inspection pass you will have to change the front windshield wipers.I told him, I will take the car to my husband he can change them and I will bring the car back same day.He told me NO. If I wanted to do that, I will have to do the inspection all over again and pay for the inspection again.Then he told me,I needed to replace the wipers there. I pay $50 dollars for two front wipers that they didn t need to be replaced, I check the price in auto zone and the cost is $18 dollars for both of them.I will never go back there for anything ever again.There pushing to sell you everything they can even if you don t needed.I went for the inspection only and they come up with stuff that have nothing to do with inspection.They couldn t get me to do anything so they forced me with the change of the front wiper s.This place is rap� off. Unprofessional and unethical. Forcing customers this way is not professional and certainly not ethic.Be aware if you going to do an inspection they will try to sell you everything.I waited for my vehicle 2 hrs & 45 mnts not for the inspection . It was because they re were trying to find things to get my money.Not to do what I went there for. To get my car inspected.Hope this can help.

Came here to have my vehicle looked over for a trip, it didn t have many miles, honestly it didn t need much at all, I was just worried.The technicians did a great job and I truly appreciated the pictures and notes in the DVI. Really liked that there is payment solutions for when my car does need major repairs.
