Overcharged for battery installation. Told me I needed $4000 of work to pass inspection. (The car, a Toyota, runs great. No safety issues. And it only cost $5000.) Got my car inspected elsewhere, legally, for under $200. I may as well have went to the dealership. Dishonest. However, they can have 2 stars because they fixed a minor issue correctly. I will never give my money to this business.

Welcoming, clean and peaceful atmosphere. Shawn and Dipesh treated myself and everyone that came in pleasantly.I expected a long wait but that's alright because I would have been suspect if the work was completed in a brief span of time. We will bring our other car here based my first time at Kinderman's.Reasonable rates as well.

They caught me slipping. 57 years on this ball of dust, and this might be some of the slimiest mess I ve experienced. Brought my car in for a tune up because the engine light was on. Instead, they perform a general inspection (billable time), and an oil change, hoping it would fix the problem. Fine. But then, I get a call at the end of the day explaining that it did not fix the problem, and they would need to do a complete tune up the next day. The estimate? $1355.00. No, don t clean your glasses you read it correctly. Not $355.00. Not $533.00. ONE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED AND FIFTY FIVE DOLLARS. I told him he was insane, and I m coming to pick up my car. How much do I owe at this point? $331.00 for an oil change, and whatever it was that they did to bill that much labor. Took my car to Firestone. It costed $405.00 for the tune up.Well, til next time, kids. Avoid them like the Bubonic Plague. #small claims court

I love that they send pix of the issues they find so u know they're not up charging you. Great customer service. I was was referred by my boyfriend who was referred by another mechanic. Now I'm referring them to whoever reads this review.

I made the appointment for 1:pm. I received the text at 4:30pm the car was ready. I assumed barring complications the service would have been completed sooner. I have the tire indicator light that is on and I can't get it off.otherwise the car handles fine

People are very nice their hospitality is very impressive. They offer me coffee and make sure we are worm in the sitting area. With me there are few more people sitting there. They always ask and give me brief instructions/advice and what needs to done first.

My Audi TT needed a 4 wheel alignment. I was told that they do a great job. I set my appointment and arrived on time. They got my car in and went to work. This was my first time using Kindermans Auto Repair, as I had just moved back to PA. Shawn was great to work with and they made sure to do a complete safety inspection of my truck. I was able to drop off my truck the night before and pick it up at the end of the next day. A fantastic level of service with no BS, just honest and solid work. This was my first time using Kindermans, and I was a little nervous as I ve had bad experiences with local mechanics in the past. This shop absolutely blew me away. I had an inspection done and they provided a link with images of every part of the car they inspected as well as an easy-to-understand system letting me know what passed, failed, and would need addressed in the near future. Then Sean followed up with a phone call to ensure I didn t have any questions and to discuss the next steps before they did any work. They are very timely, detailed, honest, friendly and affordable. It was my first time there and I love that they have a portal where you can check a report of the different components of your car, the status and what needs immediate attention or what can wait and till when.I simply googled where I can get my car inspection done, I drove in on Friday and got a Monday morning appointment. The lady I met at their office already gave testified that they are nice people and they are indeed, nice. No outrageous charges. I can only say great things about Kindermans. My car was brought in after getting stuck due to a very bad leak I had.Shaun was in constant communication with me about my vehicle and everything that needed to be done. What I really did appreciate the most about kindermans is that they do a thorough inspection while providing photo copies of everything & the service being done as well. I highly recommend Kindermans for anyone in need of auto repair. After my vehicle began smoking during a long car ride, I took it to Kindermans for a full workup to figure out the problem. I was promptly provided with an extremely detailed report about the status of every area of my car, areas recommended for repair, and areas which absolutely needed to be repaired. Upon review, they called to discuss the report with me and asked how I wished to proceed. I was able to get numerous services performed on the car in just a matter of days, at a very reasonable price. Great customer service and my car is working better than ever!

Quote of 230$ to mount and balance 4 tires. This is absolutely overpriced by any standards by about double. This is almost double what pep boys wanted to charge and pep boys is typically the highest . My dad is a mechanic and I hate to see garages take advantage of their community. Shame.

Absolutely top end. I contacted Kindermans to perform a pre-purchase inspection on a used car that I am buying from a Harrisburg dealership. Kindermans did a superb job, assessing the car in detail and from end to end. They provided me with a thorough .pdf report, discussing every aspect of the inspection and included photographs.Kindermans and their manager Sean gave me everything that I could ve wanted. I made a appointment for an alignment on a day that we were going to get rain and forty degree weather, instead we get 3 inches of snow. These technicians/mechanics here at Kindermans auto did a outstanding job with the alignment on my 4x4 Chevy.Friendly atmosphere, great service and reasonably priced. I have two vehicles I took there and they got me in a few days later for the first vehicle. That was just for an alignment but it was aligned impeccably. The second vehicle had a lot more to fix but it was ready for pickup the next day. I had brought the vehicle back after I was complaining about headlights and a rough shift at 35 mph. They adjusted the headlights and topped off the transmission fluid and handled my complaints really well. I was anxious about this experience going into it, but after it was all said and done, I d love to have my vehicles taken care of by Kinderman Auto. I felt like they appreciated the business as well which was nice as a customer being able to help local businesses.

Went in for a tire, sounded like my car was gonna fall apart with each turn. When I left my car sounded and drove Better. They recommend what was needed to make my car safe and nothing that I didn't need. I wish the garage would have worked within the approved finance amount. Not a happy camper about the additional charge.
