Just got new tires and was recommended to bring my vehicle here for an alignment. Was also due for an oil change. I called and was able to get an appointment very quickly! I found the staff to be professional, friendly and very helpful! I plan to return to have them work on my vehicle going forward!

Great team that does fantastic work at a reasonable price. I take all of my vehicles here, beaters to luxury cars and motorcycles. Never once have I been disappointed. They are also very generous in the community. Give them a try, you won t be disappointed.

I have been going to this garage for years now. Regular maintenance to major repairs, they are good at what they do. They never mess me around and make sure any issue I arrive with is taken care of before I leave. They have helped me out a lot and I appreciate it more than they know. Large, clean waiting room with inexpensive snacks & beverages + free wifi + a free charging station for phones & devices. HIGHLY recommend!!

Came in for an inspection. Got some info that wasn't $60 out of pocket. The guys here have been nothing but kind, pleasant and informative. They worked with me to make this something I could afford, thanks! I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Wonderful experience. My car's transmission went out and I visited so many different mechanics and the amount of money they were asking for was insane. I ended up taking it to Harkins Service Center, they gave me me fair price, and exact time range it will take to replaced it. As of today, my car is up and running like never before. Thank you Rick, Lisa, and all other Harkins Service Center Associates that I personally do not know. Thank you guys, I really appreciate that.

My car was making a high-pitched whirling sound so I brought it to Harkins because they worked on my car once before and they have great reviews. The mechanic told me it was the alternator and I agreed to have it replaced. He told me it should be done by the lastest on Thursday, but likely on Wednesday. I did not hear anything on Wednesday so I figured it would be done on Thursday. I did not hear anything during the day so I called them around 4:30pm--they close at 5:00pm. The woman I spoke to was nice and she told me they are waiting on a part. I was a little annoyed that no one had the decency to call me and let me know there was no way it was going to be done when they said it would. I heard nothing on Monday or Tuesday so I called on Wednesday. Again, the pleasant woman told me they had the part and it would be done by Friday. I expressed my frustration and dissappointment that no one could call and let me know the status of the repair. I told her I had to borrow a car to get to work and asked her if they had loaner cars, which they do not. I expressed my dissappointment and told her this was not 4.9 level service like their reviews show and I would not be bringing my car back. The next day the owner called and apologized and offered me a 10% discount on the $950 bill. I thanked him, I was still a little annoyed that my car would be worked in the rotation instead of being prioritized since Harkins had it close to two weeks with little communication. I was pleased the completed it today and arranged to pick it up after hours. I was all set to provide a 3-star to 4-star review depending on how the car ran. Well it runs worse after the repair and the high pitched noise is not gone. It dismays me that a mechanic would hear that noise and think all was well. I have called and left a message indicating the state the car and to see what they are going to do about it. I don't mind changing the review if they make this right, but my confidence in this auto repair establishment is quickly dwindling.4/3 Took my car back to Harkins again, they got it right this time which is why I am adding a star to the review, but no more. They tried to tell me it was a coincidence that my oil filter housing went bad on my drive home from my first appointment. I believe they accidently misdiagnosed the problem with my car in that first appointment. At the first appointment the mechanic told me the alternator was working fine, but it was making noise. I think he mistook the high pitched noise for my alternator instead of the real problem, the oil filter housing unit. An honest mistake, but still a mistake. The owner denied this and started talking about the alternator bearings, but that was never mentioned in real time. I asked to see the alternator and is was not available--- they had mailed it out. I think Harkins should have eaten the cost to fix the real problem, but that is ultimately their decision-- hence the two stars.Service: Engine repair

This was my first time at Harkins. I decided to take my vehicle there based off of good reviews. They quickly and thoroughly evaluated the issue with my vehicle. I felt confident that I could trust their opinion. Thankfully it was an easy fix to get my vehicle back to normal. They're very nice people. I was at Honda with my car they asked me $300 to fix something that was not even there. When I talk to them about the service they say you don't need anything to be done to that which is wonderful. Most mechanic will want to just charge your money for no reason.Lisa the lady that answer the phone everybody that works there very nice woman they all are very polite. I take all my friend and family to that place now.

I've never had such an easy, quick and pleasant experience for an inspection. The owner was so nice to take time out and welcome me as a first time customer. I will continue to use Harkins.Following up my first experience above with my second, a tire purchase and change. Well priced and done quickly. Couldn't have been easier. I'm truly blessed to have my vehicle being maintained under such an honest and reliable company like Harkins.

Harkins Service Center LLC was recommended to me by a family member after several negative experiences with another auto shop I had been using for years. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to get my car in, have the work done, be kept informed with updates, and pay and get my car back hassle-free. I was having a rough day. My battery went complete, to the point it was smoking and melting the terminal away on a Friday afternoon. I have AAA and the battery service they offer couldn't do anything with it. I needed a tow. I tried my own local garages (I'm a commuter to Harrisburg), and it was 2 weeks wait everywhere. AAA suggested Harkins to me. I give them a call, and they were able to hook me up the same day! Not only that, but after waiting 2.5 hours on a tow, and a friend getting me to Harkins, Rick went and got my car himself and fixed me up and got me home. Not only did they save my day, their character is top notch! They offered me donuts while I waited, and Rick's grandkids were visiting and were a pure delight. They were so talkative and made my time waiting fly by. They made me feel part of the family for an afternoon and totally changed the vibe of my day! It was so refreshing to see a friendly business, family-oriented, and top notch, speedy , same day service. I will forever recommend them and try to take my repairs to them. Thank you Harkins for the positive experience. :)

First, the website is awesome. Provided enough information to make me feel they could possibly handle the job (timing chain Acura). They had an area for comments and replied the next day. Listened to my concerns regarding issues I had already been given in previous estimate. While they could not commit without actually evaluating vehicle, they gave enough information so I felt led to have my car towed to them. Evaluation was made and they called with the issue and what the solution would be..all concerns/questions answered and a complete detailed explanation was given as to what was necessary to do the work correctly and a rough estimate. After giving approval, Chris called back with exact estimate, date it would be completed. It had been down several mo and also needed inspection. All work was completed on time, Chris called after his test drive and gave full report and the gal at the desk took payment over phone and it was picked up over weekend by my daughters. Easy breezy! I have been using Harkins Services since he first started a business. Rick is professional, very knowledgeable, friendly and ensures you are receiving the right care for your vehicle. His business has since grown and everyone who is apart of his business/shop have been great! As a someone who isn't overly knowledgeable about cars, I have always felt Rick and his team have been honest about what my car needs and never make me feel overwhelmed with unnecessary information. I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone who is in need of a good mechanic.

When I moved into the area I followed the great reviews online to Harkin's. They've become my trusted auto mechanic. The whole Harkin team, Rick, Lisa, Ricky and Chris are wonderful to work with. They provide quality and clean work. They've provided routine maintenance and inspection as well as done some larger jobs for me. I've not been disappointed once. They provide education with regards to the problem, the parts and the fix so you understand what's being done. They do not try to rack up the bill by suggesting unnecessary fixes. They are good and honest people who I've witnessed on numerous occasions treating customers like family and friends. I rarely rate 5 stars, but Harkins earned it. My dealer diagnosed a bad catalytic converter but their quote was crazy! I price and review shopped and went with Harkins. They communicated very well and the repair was completed on cost and time. 2 days later the same Check Engine Light came on. Harkins fit me back in, installed another cat. con. under warranty as well as a sensor which solved the problem. Honestly the car has never run better - so i suspect this sensor was bad all along but the dealer didn't catch it. The tech stayed in touch with me through the process and bent over backwards to get this resolved ASAP. You don't see customer service and courtesy like this very often.Service: Engine repair

I had a project where I wanted to install the clutch and flywheel from a non-aspirated Supra into an IS300. Trying to find a mechanic willing to work on the project or a reasonably priced option was tough. Everyone at Harkins were patient listening to me explain the project and they were even willing to work on the project.I decided to go with Harkins and was surprised when they told me it would be done in a day. Dropped it off a couple days later at 0800 and picked up it by 1630. Clutch felt great and I appreciated the paper mat they put on the seat to protect the seats from the box of parts (I requested to keep the old parts in case the project didn't work).I would recommend Harkins. Found these folks when I was searching for an independent service center. Was tired of the dealerships and national chains where I always felt I was being over-charged. My first experience with this outfit was nothing short of fantastic! Found them to be very upfront, highly professional and honorable.I plan on taking all my vehicles to Harkins going forward for any mid to major repairs. A great first time experience!! A tip of the cap to the group that I interacted with - Lisa, Chris and Rick. Kudos to you folks for providing what I found to be true customer service.

The type of shop you only hear about, but never get to experience. Well, today that changed. I called about issues with my Jeep and was told by the receptionist to bring it in and drop it off. She told me what would happen and what to expect. Not only was the mechanic fast, knowledgeable, and to the point, he was also honest. He could have dug in my pockets, but he didn't. I respect the shop for that and promise to go back. Would give it more stars, but 5 is all I'm allowed to give.

I first called to get a estimate on a clutch for my 98 accord. Other shops where a few weeks out, but Rick and his team were able to get started from the first day it arrived and with a lower starting bid. Ricks team called me every step of the way and went over the repairs, including ones that they noticed not included in estimate. They went over the details of the extra repairs, and asked for permission before just doing the work. I was extremely satisfied with the time they were able to get it done. I met Rick over the summer for our shared hobby of scuba diving. I just recently discovered that he had a service shop and the timing worked our perfect because I needed my inspection, emissions, and an oil change! I have gone to different service centers over the years from corporate chain owned to private owned but Rick and his crew did a great job and I will for sure be going back for any of my car needs! The service was done super fast and at a reasonable and affordable price (I m still a student)! They are also pet friendly and let me bring my furry child! I definitely look forward to bringing my car back and also having Rick as a dive instructor this summer!

Been take my Honda s here since I was in high school. Great family-owned place with a great track record of high quality service. I dropped my car off for an inspection and oil change for my most recent appointment the night before and Chris had it done within an hour that evening. The night before the day of the appointment! Dudes in here give a damn about the customer and Rick is a great guy. Couldn t ask for a better place in a day and age where it s tough to find a good mechanic.Services: Wheel alignment, Oil change

Chris, Rick, and all the Harkins Service Center Staff are very nice and honest. They are not out there the do unneccessary work to your vehicle and repair unnecessary items. Chris and Rick were able to fix both of my Honda Civics in a timely manner at a reasonable cost. Would recommend to all my friends and family! A+++!
