Purchased tires. Didn't have my size but they found the tires I was looking for. Excellent set of 4. There very quiet and handle great. Actually, what I was looking for at a great price. Can't go wrong. They even went out of their way to help me every way they could. After my first visit, I've been going there ever since and will continue to do so. What the customer expects, you get much more from Firestone on 2nd Street in Harrisburg.

Well Morgan Harris got me in on a Saturday. My Acura had 2 front tires that needed replacing. My brakes were also causing a hard shudder at speeds above 50 mph. I got a confirmed price, plus Morgan had included 3 special discounts I didnt even know about! My Acura handles like a new car and Morgan informed I should include a wheel alignment since it was slightly off. I'm very satisfied with the service at the Downtown Harrisburg location on 700 N 2nd St!

Excellent Service! Doug and Morgan have been there ever since I started using the Firestone, which was more than 10 years ago. They've never steered me wrong & have kept my car, and therefore my family, safe. I drive 35 minutes just to go to THIS Firestone.

Literally can't imagine going anywhere else for my car work! The regular staff are incredibly friendly and helpful while being transparent and knowledgeable about repairing and maintaining my car. On the off chance that my problem isn't resolved, Morgan, Doug, and the skilled mechanics in the garage will do everything in their power to make it right. I'm not the type to rate much of anything, but Firestone Harrisburg deserves the 5 star distinction.

The brakes on my car had started to act funny - there were a handful of times when I would press on the brake and nothing would happen, or I would have to press the pedal to the floor just to get it to begin slowly braking. I've had this car for almost 10 years and have never had that happen before.I took it to this Firestone as it is convenient for me, and I have taken my car here for its annual inspection and had a pleasant experience. This time, though, they told me nothing was wrong; the problems I had experienced were "likely due to rain" (ignoring the fact that I experienced these brake issues when it was completely dry out, and my car was kept in a garage, so the brakes/car weren't wet).So...I immediately drove my car from this Firestone to another place to have it checked out since I knew something was wrong. The next place found the issue! (An issue with the power brake booster). If this were to fail (which it was at risk of), my brakes would essentially cease to work altogether.I cannot in any good conscious now recommend anyone go to this Firestone. They had told me nothing was wrong with my brakes. If I had listened to this, I would've been driving around with brakes that were at risk of not working.The pros: they were very nice, they took my car in immediately for this emergent need, communication was great, and they did not charge me for a brake inspection. However, these pros do not offset the con of not figuring out the issue I was having, leaving me and everyone on the road around me at risk.

I struggled to find a reputable and honest garage since moving to the area and this place was everything I could have asked for. The staff were nice and I could tell they weren't trying to rip me off or sell me stuff that wasn't necessary. I'll definitely return the next time I need work done.

LOVE this location and the staff. Friendly and honest though very busy. Have been bringing vehicles here for over 15 years and my wife has been coming here for probably 30 years. We ve never had a bad experience.

The manager Doug is a phenomenal person. He truly cares about what issue you're having and tries to resolve it. The extra bonus, is that he doesn't try to over charge you like other places. The company on 2nd Street is excellent to work with.

Unfortunately service quality has declined in recent years. I went in for new tires- I paid for 3 new tires and an alignment and somehow my battery died while being serviced. I was quoted $550 for tires- fast Forward after they had my car for 10hrs- I paid $860 ($250 battery!?!)I put my 2yr old in the car drove home, I noticed a weird squeak but did not inspect until next morning. Back passenger tire was completely flat, brand new. I put air in tire and tried to get to work but turned around bc my alignment was so wacky I almost crashed! Call back- asked to fix alignment- then while driving to Philly for work, I stopped at Valley Forge with a flat tire, put air in it and it exploded! Put a spare tire on so I couldn't get to work. God forbid I got in a car accident with my 2yr old because of negligent work and faulty tire- not too mention a potential lawsuit for injuries- or worse. We call this (A Near Miss) in construction and requires filling out a incident/ injury report. I will be reporting this and will never be coming back. I want my money back- bye

This is the only place I'm taking my car as long as I live in the area. Staff is great, facility is clean. The guys are friendly and treat my fleet vehicle with respect, as well as my personal. If you go to any Firestone in Harrisburg, go to this one. Morgan and Jake are great.

I brought my car because of grinding brakes. $500 later you said they were fixed. I drove home with the car still grinding, but that couldn't be the brakes cuz you just fixed them, right? Less than 2 weeks later on the highway, I had a catastrophic brake failure on my commute. Bang! Then no brakes at all. I could have died. Had it towed there. You fixed the back brakes THIS time for $755. BUT HERE IS THE INSULT TO THE INJURY.... when I asked why you didn't catch it the first time you said my back brakes were fine the first time. They were grinding when I brought them to you. They were grinding when I left.... My girl brain may have been too trusting, but it isn't too stupid to know that you missed something that could have killed me and didn't even have the courage to admit it or apologize. It's not about the money. It's about the insult. That's what I've told every person I've seen since. That is what I will keep telling them. No one should trust you. Which is sad because I did.

I did aquire a screw in a brand new tire so I had to come back so 3 trips and it should have been 1 but they did give me a free oil change cause my tires was a wait time of 5 hours

Top notch service and staff! Great care on a Sunday on a Holiday weekend, no less. They earned a repeat customer for sure. The parking was a bit tight, but it was a busy weekend and I was thankful they could squeeze me in with no appointment. And I didn't have to travel out of my neighborhood to a competitor and pay a higher price. A win/win all around.

I'd like to preface this by saying I don't typically take the time to write bad reviews but I had such a horrible experience with this location that I felt like I had to say something.Prior to this visit, I had typically bought used tires but wanted to treat myself to brand new tires - the total ended up being $700 and change. So, I brought my car into this Firestone for new tires and an alignment. After waiting FOUR hours, I decided to call in myself for an estimate on how much longer it would be and was told it had "been ready" for pickup.When I went to pick it up, I noticed my driver's window was fully lowered... in the middle of Harrisburg!At this point, I was annoyed because my driver's side window DOES NOT have a handle to lower it, just a partially stripped part which used to hold the handle and, mind you, it's noticeably a pain to lower it/get back up.When I told the worker's there about the situation, they informed me that the employee that should've raised it was "having a bad day" and had left for the day already.Another employee asked if I was sure I didnt drop it off lowered which REALLY upset me because, again, there isnt a handle - I usually just use my AC if anything! This same employee then proceeded to try and "fix" it for maaaaybe 5 minutes before he walked by me (not updating me on him clearly giving up of course, but I knew) and sent out his, I'm assuming, manager. The manager then informed me that the only other person who COULD fix it, was about to leave for the day and asked if I could bring the car in myself the next day/had a safe spot to keep the car until I could bring it in.When I informed him that I wouldn't be off for another 3 days and that my car had been broken into before where I live, he basically said "Oof that sucks" and just offered me a sheet to cover the hole and protect my car from rain.My fianc� ended up lending me his car the next day so he could drop off my car to get fixed.When he went to pick up the car later that day, not only was the window not up fully, but my driver's side door handle was broken!! ANOTHER DAY passes, and I get a call from the manager of this location happily saying that my car door handle and window were fixed. When my fiance arrived, the window was STILL not fully up!! TODAY, my fianc� goes to pick up my car and the window was finally up. But he was told that the problem they were having before was that they were allegedly fixing it but over time, the window had kept on falling. However they said that they now had the window fully secured.When he went and asked the manager about partial reimbursement for all the trouble, all he offered was a free oil change... As if I would EVER want to bring my car back to that place. The cherry on top is as my fianc� drove my car back, he noticed the window started to slide down again!..The main reason I was so upset once I had left that lot with my fully lowered window was because I've had other smaller/local shops accidentally lower my window in the past and not only did they not create such a fuss about it, but they raised it before I even left the lot! You'd think that a business with a name as well known as Firestone would've been able to deliver the same results but I guess not... I genuinely believe they had broken my window even more (probably when they broke the door handle ) and just didnt want to admit it/deal with us anymore.So yea, now I guess I have to deal with wind whistling in when I'm on the highway and the temperature of the inside of my car matching the outside. Doug and Jake are my heroes! I m 7 hours from home at an auto auction and my trailer tire blew (the second one on this trip )! They took me in immediately and mounted and balanced 2 new tires in record time, allowing me to make it home today. I've been bringing my car here since last year after I move back to Pennsylvania. The service that I have received here has been outstanding. I would recommend these people time and again. Unfortunately I'll be leaving Harrisburg, but I'm sure I'll continue to use Firestone at my new place in Delaware.

I arrived at the shop shortly before closing but after the majority of the mechanics had left for the day. The man at the front desk (Quinn) and the technician in the shop would have had every right to ask me to simply return the next day. They did not. They immediately took my car in and helped replace my flat tire. The customer service was outstanding, Quinn was extremely helpful and thorough with his explanation of the services I received and of course the quality of the work was top notch. Thank you as well to Joe/John (I apologize for forgetting) the technician for his work. I am not a usual customer at this location but will refer it to my friends and family members and consider using it in the future.Service: Tires

On labor day the manager Morgan gave me excellent customer service. Not only did he quickly and easily explain to me the process, he also made sure it was done in a timely manner.
