What a joy it was to be met Upon entering Faulkner collision center by Miss Sarah. She is extraordinary with her public relations and makes everyone feel welcome and taken care of. John was also very good at what he does. We appreciate the service you had provided I would recommend you to anyone.

First of all, I never leave reviews, let alone negative reviews, but my experience here was bad enough to bring to others attention. Brought my car in after an accident to get repaired and was told it would take approximately one week. A week goes by and I hadn t heard one update from them so I called and the person at the front desk says it will be a couple more days as they re waiting for parts. Call a few days later after my insurance agent said they had tried calling four times, left voicemails and were not hearing back from the shop. I tried calling several times, leaving voicemails, and nobody was returning my call. The woman at the front desk who answered the call was extremely rude and kept forwarding my calls straight to voicemail. Turns out what happened is that they never checked in my car So didn t realize that it was there and had to scramble last minute to get the work done. Which is interesting because when I had called a week prior, I must ve been lied to as the woman at the front desk said they were just waiting on parts. I may have been more forgiving if instead of ghosting me, they had called me the second they realized their mistake to let me know the situation right away, instead of ignoring my calls and causing me extreme anxiety over what on earth was happening with my car. I was even concerned enough to check the location of my car and make sure it was even at the shop! Overall, very very poor experience and I will not be coming back here if needed in the future.

They've said my car has been in reassembly for about a week and a half now. Calling gets no where as it just goes straight to voice-mail. When they do reach back they give b.s. excuses about parts. Not recommending them or using them again and I'll let my insurence know as well to take them off the suggestion list.

**BEWARE** Honest review of my experience at Faulkner Body Works. Was rear ended back in October 2022. Insurance recommended this shop to repair my rear bumper. This shop eager to get me an estimate for under $1000 of damages back in Oct. 2022. Scheduled the repair for Jan 2023. A week before the repair was scheduled I tried to call and confirm the appointment, could not get ahold of them. Went down in person to confirm- they said we were all good for the following week. Later the same week received a call saying they have to push me out another 2 weeks because of a parts shortage supply. I agreed and they moved my repair to February 2023. Then received a call today asking to move the repair out to March 2023 due to more parts shortages. Enough was enough and called the insurance company and moved the repair to a different shop. Although I only had an estimate done, from what I observed this shop is dysfunctional. Cars are everywhere in their lot, there was nowhere to park. Seems like they don't have the highest craftsmanship either. I would probably be disappointed in the quality of the repair. From other reviews their time estimated to work on the car is usually wrong and it may take a month or more. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else! Didn't get a good overall feeling from this shop. Made the right decision going somewhere else.

Great service! My trunk opens nicely. They matched the paint perfectly. Looks brand new! I believe they even cleaned my interior, which would've been no easy feat! Eric was easy to work with. The ladies at the front desk were both super pleasant and helpful. It did take a couple days longer than estimated, but everyone is so short-staffed nowadays, I would've been surprised if it was completed on time. I highly recommend this business for auto body repairs!

Poor communication with this establishment. This shop had my vehicle for over 2 months and never reached out to me to give updates. I had to call and go through several people about a month in to find out that they hadn t started working on my car because they were waiting on parts. This is after leaving several messages for Dave who never called me back. The second time I called another month later finally talked with the manager who updated that it would be another couple of weeks. When my car was finally completed, I was notified that morning and picked the car up at lunch. 2 weeks later I m told that the body shop told the insurance company that the car was done prior to that date which I was never notified about and I was hit with a bill from the rental car place. Unacceptable!!! I will not use this body shop again for any further repairs. I understand everyone is short but in 2 months your telling me no one could call me to give me an update at least once for a 5 minute call.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Body & Trim

I used this shop to fix my rear bumper on my car after I was rear ended. Took me 3 months to get an appointment they kept saying yes end of month, we ll contact you, a month went by, and no appointment fine whatever. I had my husband call for me and he got me an appointment, almost two months later. So three months with a car with a non-functioning trunk, fantastic, whatever.The original estimate was for a bumper only, so naturally the week we were quoted for my car to be finished was inaccurate. It s a good thing I didn t have travel plans! (Actually, I did.)Two days goes by after we were supposed to receive our car back and no contact. My husband calls and they needed it another week because they did not order enough parts (they only got parts for the bumper, not the trunk?) Poor planning and poor communication.My husband got the car back for me and the bumper was not blended out. The guy argued that it s an old car, what did we expect? (It s a 2013 with 60,000 miles. We expect a professional job to be done, especially with the time given for them to perform their jobs adequately.)I checked over the car and there s a seam/bend on part of the bumper, the car was not detailed, and I opened my trunk to put in groceries and I have FOOT PRINTS in my TRUNK.TLDR; unprofessional care, improper planning, and poor communication. I would look elsewhere if you re looking for even a mediocre at best experience, because this place is NOT it.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

A tree fell on my car and needed SERIOUS repair. I was completely devastated fearing that my car would be totaled (the roof needed cut off as well as a lot of other repairs and a new paint job). Steve helped me through the entire process, kept me updated and answered every question I had. If he was not available he returned my calls quickly and helped me EVERY step of the way. My car was finished 11 days earlier than its projected date. I am so pleased with the customer service I received, on top of how quickly and efficiently they repaired my car. 10/10 would recommend and would go back if I ever need repairs again. Highly satisfied with the overall process!

Very unprofessional. Tia was my advisor and has not contacted me one time regarding my vehicle. I had to drive there in person the day before Thanksgiving to see what was going on with my suv and to find out that it was done. Then they wouldn t release my car until they got the supplemental payments from my insurance company which is not supposed to be done. My car has been done a week today and not one person called me regarding this. I had to go in person. And will have to go in person again today to see if they will release my car today!!! Unbelievable!! The advisor didn t even want to talk to me when I went in person but eventually came out because the girl at the desk was confused with the amounts of my estimate. I do not recommend this place anymore. So upset and not happy how I have been treated and not contacted at all about my car after leaving voicemails and other staff even emailing my advisor!!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Outstanding service! They called and gave me a play by play of my service. My car was only 2 days old and everyone shared in my feelings that it needed body work much too soon. The receptionists were helpful in taking my payment over the phone and getting my car cleaned up so I could pick it up after hours. Definitely an enjoyable experience!

My neighbor backed into the side of my brand new Subaru, crushing the passenger side door and a few other parts. While I was there I pointed out a dent someone hit on my car with their door (the first week of owning my car) and they told me it was on the house because they have to fix that side anyways. We then walked around the car to see if there s any other dents that need out which there was one on the hood. Of course I d have to pay for that one which wasn t a big deal at all. They said it d be ready by a specific day and it was done on that day (only took a week). But unfortunately it was 4pm and I wasn t in the area anymore. They told me they d take care of the rental car I had for that extra day since it was so late in the day when it was finished. Which they did, my insurance wouldn t even cover that extra day, but Faulkner Body Works did. They didn t have to do that for me, but they did.When I picked up my car it looked as good as the day I bought her. When I got inside the car it smelled like the day I bought her. They deep cleaned and detailed the inside of my car when I never asked nor expected them to do so.They went above and beyond for me. I ve gone to a lot of different shops and never have I ever been so happy with the outcome of my vehicle and the professionalism they showed me. A week or so later they called to make sure I was happy with their work, which again I ve never had anyone do before. Just going so far above my expectations.If you re unfortunate enough to have issues with your car, I HIGHLY recommend them. I don t think I ll ever go to any other shop again.I appreciate all the hard work and the dedication you all put into making sure your customers are happy. This is an edit from my original review:Still 1 star. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.Communication is terrible. Can almost never get a hold of anybody. Very unprofessional.They don't do a good job with their work. My car has been here for months, and they still have work to do. They tried to return it to me as if I wouldn't notice the work they neglected to fix in the first place.

I had a great experience with Faulkner body works. My car was rear-ended and needed quite extensive work to repair the demolished back end of my Subaru. They took in the vehicle quickly, assessed the damages, called and provided me updates, and got my vehicle back to me in a timely manner that was even sooner than I was anticipating. I thoroughly enjoyed the friendly receptionist and Steve for easing the stress of a rough ordeal. My car looks like new again and is driving just like it did when I drove it off the lot last year.

Update: I waited over 140 days for my car but luckily Faulkner was one that redeemed themselves. After my point of contact was "no longer with the company," the shop manager worked directly with me to provide me a rental free of charge and keep me updated on my car. We finally got it back and luckily have had 0 issues.If GEICO sends you here and you have a GM car, don't go here. The three businesses combined just exude stress and anger and you will wait for your car for 83+ days....and counting.

I contacted Faulkner Body Works September 19 to schedule an estimate for front end repair to my 2017 Outback; they were able to fit me in that very day at 3! Steve Shearer gave me the estimate and even showed me examples of what's behind the front end of vehicles; he told me it would take approximately 9+ business days to repair.What an absolutely awesome surprise when they called me October 3 to tell me my Outback was finished! I picked it up the next day; Steve Shearer went over all the details, again reviewed what's behind the front bumper and grill, and reminded me their work was guaranteed for as long as I owned the car.The vehicle looks great! I have pearl white paint and so far I cannot tell where the new and old paint ends. Plus I'm pretty sure they cleaned the inside of my vehicle! It looks great!I would definitely recommend having your vehicle repaired by Faulkner Body Works.

First accident my car was in so I had no clue how this whole claims process and getting my car fixed worked.... they explained everything to me in detail and answered all my questions. Steve is a great guy! He kept me in the loop about everything that was going on, I got a detailed description of everything that needed replaced and it has a lifetime warranty. Highly recommended!

I gave them a $4500 job and they didn't even wash the car. When I complained they rudely replied they don't detail the cars anymore with covid. Also I had less than 1 mile of gas left when I picked up the car. Got nowhere when I complained to management about trash that wasn't mine left inside the car. They only care about that check from the insurance companies. Go somewhere else. Avoid Faulkner body works!!!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Our son attends School in Harrisburg and was involved in an accident on campus. I ve been in the Automotive repair business for 40 years so I know what I m looking at, and was very concerned having to deal with this via long distance. I must say I was pleasantly impressed by the craftsmanship at Faulkner s Body Works, especially when the damage exceeded eleven thousand dollars. They also delivered the vehicle when finished. This body shop is packed. The staff is very courteous, however the business is not customer friendly. You need to make an appointment prior to taking vehicle in for an estimate. I called Monday and got an appointment for Friday (first available). The parking is a NIGHTMARE. They have more cars than parking spaces and even with an appointment I was unable to park next to the office. A friendly estimator did greet me 20 minutes after my appointment time and had me on my way 10 minutes later.

Aug of 2021 we engaged Harrisburg store on recommendation. Tia Miller let us know they were backlogged and short staffed. We were not in a rush. Late Aug early Sept 2021 we sent our information as well as the appraiser's info. We were told we would hear back after they ordered parts and etc. We had no further contact from Faulkner.MARCH 26 of 2022 we called and were told Tia was not at the company and our file had been closed. We were sent to the manager's voice-mail. Kevin Black the manager called back to say he would re-open and work on getting parts and update us asap.MAY 2022 called and was told Tia was with the company and sent to her voice-mail. Called twice more during the first three weeks of May and left messages for Tia and Kevin. Also had appraisal company re-send info to Tia (who confirmed they were never contacted in Fall of 2021 for appraisal info).Was made aware of another local company with high reviews, and have made an appointment to be seen.It's understandable that every company is busy right now. A full year just to be seen is not acceptable. Do NOT recommend this company due to mismanagement of customer files, lack of communication, and extremely poor follow through.

I used Faulkner because they are a recommended Erie Insurance repair shop. They were very fast to get my car quoted out and they interacted directly with Erie to get it approved. The office staff was very friendly and the work was done in exactly the time they said it would take. I am very pleased with the end result.

While on a visit to Pennsylvania, my Honda Odyssey suffered what turned out to be extensive damage from tumbling road debris, just outside of Harrisburg. I had it towed to the nearest Honda dealer which was, fortunately, Faulkner. Steve Shearer of Faulkner Body Works, who handled my insurance claim, was the best. He kept me informed every step of the way and took the time to make sure I understood every aspect of the repair process. I felt secure knowing that it was his goal that everything be done right the first time and that I could drive off with confidence that my van was as good as (or better than) before the accident.

I really did a number on my car by running over something on the highway. I have taken other cars to Faulkner for body work, in the past, and have always been pleased. Great communication from Steve regarding the repair timeframe. They were finished ahead of schedule and my car looks fabulous! . Cleaner than when it was dropped off! Thanks again!

Exceptional job! We just got our vehicle back after an accident and we couldn t be more pleased. The staff (ask for Jess-she s awesome!) kept us very well informed the entire process and even worked to have a rental suv meet us at the shop. The repair looks better than when we bought it! Great job!

I am having the worst experience ever with Faulkner Body Works. I dropped my call off on Oct. 3rd for them to replace my rear drive door, fix the rear driver window because the automatic features was not working, an alignment, and paint. I received a call on Oct. 12th stating my car will now start. They made me pay for a new battery and my battery was fine before dropping it off. I picked up my car on Oct. 13th. None of my windows automatic feature was not working, my car still was drifting to the right, the screen in my car no longer worked properly, the light above my rear view didn't work and I had to press my key fob 7-8 times before I could unlock my car door. I immediately took my car back for them to fix. The man was able to program 3 of my windows but the rear driver side window that was supposed to be fixed was not able to be programmed so therefor they did not fix my window that was supposed to fix. He told me I had to call my claims rep on Monday for all the other problems. I called my rep and brought my car back in to be fixed. I don't have my car back yet but none of the mangers are addressing my car was giving back to me with issues that was supposed to be fixed according to my estimate. (Alignment and car window) Also my car was given back to me with additional problems. It's all DEFEND, DEFEND, DEFEND and PROTECT, PROTECT, PROTECT the company and the workers. News flash everyone make mistakes. It's how you correct your mistakes those mistakes that matters to the customers. After I receive my car back I will no longer deal with Faulkner Body Works EVER again. I'm so mad and nervous that they still have my car.
