Sorry this business don t even deserve one star anyway we call for the one tire price on the phone she told us $40 just to take out the tire no mount balance or anything and when we go there and she give us a tire and charge $45 And she totally lied and she said she was told $45 on the phone. I guess this lady she s on the business. Be careful she has two different price over the phone is different and when you go there you pay more.

I had 2 horrible experiences so far. Definitely washed through every move. If you're not paying attention, they're not gonna balance your wheels. And then when you ask them they don't do it properly

Make sure you watch their every move if you're not paying attention they won't even balance your rims then when you point it out and tell him hey you didn't balance my tires they wait till you turn around then they just pound some weights on then say they balance them very shady people and place to be would not recommend to anybody

Severally damaged my rims! Offered to repair, but after the damage they did don't know that I would trust them to do that! Then they tried to keep my practically brand new tires they took off! Wouldn't recommend to worst enemy!

They have decent prices for tires, but I went there 2 weeks ago to get 4 used tires just to get me threw till I can afford brand new. They gave me 3 of the same tire and one different tire with different tread.when they showed me the tires they were all the same and they never mentioned they put just one different tire on. When coming home my car was shaking really really bad so I took it to a mechanic the next day and here to come find out my tires were never balanced and my old weights were still attached.

Got All four tires on my Honda Accord for 400$ for a brand I have never heard of. They don't balance the wheels like they mentioned. I was recommended here by a friend.... I cannot recommend it to anyone. Go to reputed area where they have warranties and guarantees on the service provided. They Might have deals on second hand tires... That's the only thing I would recommend + decent and fast service.

Great Staff and HONEST! I was an out of towner who had a flat. they could have taken me for a ride. Instead they got me excellent tires and they were inexpensive. I will go back again and again.

One in for a tire repair they broke my sensor on the tire and said it was like that I told them it was working that's how new my tire had a flat they did not want to repair the sensor

I drive 30 minutes to get tires from here! Best quality used tires I have ever come across! And the prices are affordable! The gentleman who put your tires on for you are very polite and courteous and they keep the area of the car that they are working on clean. I for one appreciate that! I will not buy used tires anywhere else! I send everyone I know and care about to this tire shop and always will as long as the same people keep owning it! Thank you Family Tire Corp for giving us quality used tires at affordable prices!

We had an unfortunate incident that ended in a destroyed tire. We didn't want to chance traveling back home to Pittsburgh on the "donut". Family Tires Corp had us back on the road in a jiffy at a very reasonable price with friendly service.

As a single mom and full-time college student, I recently found myself unable to afford four brand new tires for my Ford explorer and was told about Family Tires on Walnut Street in Harrisburg and decided to try them out. I was able to purchase four used tires for my explorer for a VERY affordable price. The tires were all in great condition and two of them seemed almost brand new! The tires passed inspection a couple of months later. I m very happy with the service that I ve gotten from this business and I ve been referring everyone to them! The staff is all very friendly, and I received speedy service.

DO NOT GO HERE!! I went to Family Tires to get new Brakes and Rotors, they cost over $600 and didn t even last me the month. They were so faulty I almost crashed on the highway. I had to go get new brakes from another mechanic. On top of that, they do financing and the companies that they finance through obviously either don t know or don t care that they are covering a shop who has faulty equipment. I will never get anything from Family Tires ever again.

We bought these tires a month ago thinking they were good tires. We paid 100 bucks, today while getting the vehicle inspected we find out the tires we just bought are dry rotted which cost us another 200 dollars for 2 brand new tires so our car would pass inspection. Don t buy tires here, just get them from a reputable place that won t sell you dry rotted tires. There s no way to get refunded either, so I wasted 100 dollars on 2 tires that should have been in the trash. We got scammed.

Honest, friendly business. They were the cheapest in town for tires. The price they quoted me was the price we paid. No upsell or shadiness. What s pleasure to go here. They have made a customer for life

They hunted down the correct size of tires for same day installation. Very nice people. I will be buying my tires from Family Tire from now on.

I had an excellent experience today; everyone was friendly, helpful, and seemed extremely happy to be there. The place itself is located on the corner of two streets. It was rather busy when we arrived but we were in and out of there very quickly! The tire patch was extremely affordable and I will be repeating business with these nice folks.I've not felt this welcome at a tire place since I lived in MD and knew someone who owned it!

Prices have seem to jump up significantly. Still one of my go to places for tires but I first started going there because they were the most economical spot in the area but the pandemic has had a lasting affect on all business owners. I'm still a loyal customer because I enjoy the family owned atmosphere.

Bought a used tire from there that I was planning on using for my CRV. The tire blew up on its own while hanging on the rear door.Took it back and the owner was nice and let me replace it for 20$ .I always go there , the team are courteous and quick at serving your needs.

HORRIBLE PLACE. They rush to get the work done, strip your bolts and make you pay to replace them. Their prices are cheap but cheap isn t always the way to go since this place does things to make you come back and spend more money for their mistakes. Go to a REAL tire place if you need something done

This place is a sham, someone recommended me to go here for some cheap tires. I decided to go there for two front tires that I needed last minute. The gentleman only spoke Spanish and told me in broken English that I only needed one tire, mind you he took off all four while I was in the waiting room that s run down and discussing. After a few hours I noticed that my car wasn t able to read my tire pressure and the light came on in my car. Then three months later, I went to a regular tire spot like Mavis had all four of my tires changed and one of my tire sensors was completely missing. The gentleman At This place must ve ripped my tires off the rims and my sensor completely came off. I also noticed that one of my Lugnuts were missing as well. For some reason they took off all four of my tires and I believe my rims were swapped out while I was waiting there for about an hour or more(again for one tire). I have an Acura MDX 2011, with good rims and the ones they put on my car were all scratched up! What a mistake I made going to this place! I would not recommend you bringing your high end cars to these type of mom and pop shops. It was in the dirty hood of Harrisburg and not safe at all! Terrible mistake! If I can give it a zero I would!

Love my new tires installed by them, but at 80 mph the tires start shaking the steering wheel . After 2 trips for balancing and a 3rd for alignment and charging me for it it still shakes at 80 mph, it's their fault, very nice people some don't speak English. I would never recommend this place their machines are out dated and dirty, no waiting room just standing out in parking..not sure if they are busy because people keep coming back because they didn't fix it the first time?

Paid for new tires mount and balance three months later my alignment is screwed had to get more tires come to find out they didn't balance them and they don't even own a balancer machine . I had a blow out because of these crooks ! Their a joke from them not balancing my tires it screwed up my alignment now I have to get another alignment more tires do not go here

I went to this local family tire shop to have my 4 brand new tire put on my rims, then put on the car. When I arrived the place was already packed with customers. To me, that's a good sign that this is a great business! Even though I hate waiting in line because I'm I very impatient, I proceeded to do so! About 7 minutes into my waiting, I was told it was my turn! I was astonished. There must have been 6 cars ahead if me and that's no exaggeration. These men at this shop worked expediently and efficiently. It probably took the gentleman who worked on my car, I'd say about 15 minutes to finish it!! And perfectly correct , I might add!!! Believe this, I will be returning to this tire shop if ever I need any kind if service they offer !! I was extremely impressed with the amount of communication that went on between them that keeps that shop running so smoothly and at such a fast pace!!!

Had car inspected in the morning and was told I needed 4 new tires. Went to Family Tire for 4 used tires. They did not have them so I bought 4 cheaper new tires.During installation of new tires (after they took the old ones off), mechanic broke lug bolt and tried explaining to me that it must have been the person that installed my original tire. Having had the car inspected in the morning, and the mechanic at Family Tire not notice the broken bolt until installing new tires, it is hard to believe the damage was not caused by family tire.I was told to go to their other location to have it fixed for $40-$50 . I went to other shop the next day and told the mechanic there what happened and I don t believe I should have to pay. He said okay and to come back at 2pm. When I arrived at 2pm, he was leaving and told me he cannot do it today because his boss needed him elsewhere. I had an appraisal scheduled later that day and needed it done. Luckily, my original mechanic where I got the vehicle inspected was kind enough to do the repair at no labor cost.Family Tire does not seem to value/respect their customers.

I am not from here, however it makes me feel like I am back home. It's a small place, with a big heart. They care about there customers, and they try real hard to please. As the saying goes, "you can only please some of the people, some of the time". The only thing I can say bad about this place is, there not open 24 hours. This wasn't my first time here. I have two other cars, that I brought to them.. Keep up the great work!!!!!
