Our sales guy, Kevin Wormser was awesome when we purchased our new Cougar Travel Trailer. We used him the last time we bought a new travel trailer as well. He is very helpful and does whatever he can to help make the buying experience great. Awesome place to purchase a new camper! Jeremiah is an amazing salesman! He listened to us and showed us exactly what we wanted to see. He helped us find the trailer we were looking for. Tons of trailers to look at.Overall experience was great, store staff are friendly and very willing to help. Total buying experience was good too, didn t feel stressed or pressured. Jeremiah was an outstanding salesperson! I called him, told him exactly what I wanted and he did everything possible to make our deal work. He even put a bow on the camper for my birthday! He was friendly and very professional. When we arrived at the dealership he greeted us outside ready to complete the deal. He even found a sign for me to hold for a picture with our new camper. The finance guy Ben was great too. He worked a deal for us to get an extended warranty without raising our payment too much. He was fast, knowing that my husband worked nights and didn't want to spend the whole day there. They did a though walkthrough, and showed us how to hook up the fifth wheel for the first time. I would highly recommend Camping World Harrisburg to anyone.

My wife and I had a great experience purchasing an RV from Camping World in Harrisburg. Jeremiah was our salesman and did a great job. It was very clear that he is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, as he worked with us to stay within our boundaries in terms of weight, length, and layout of the camper. Overall a great experience and I will definitely go to Jeremiah in the future for all of my RV needs.

Purchased a fifth wheel at the end of January from Camping World Harrisburg. The camper was delivered to the campground the 1st week of February. I went up the 5th of April to open it up and found a water leak in the forward bedroom. I haven't even used the camper yet. Called Camping World and they had absolutely no care in the world about my issue. They even told me I had to pay to have it towed back to the dealership and that the repairs may not be covered under the warranty I had purchased. I was warned about buying anything from them and I should have listened. They could care less about the customer and the condition of the item they are selling. I have been camping my whole life and never again will I deal with them.

So we went back to Camping World in Harrisburg looking for a toy hauler after attending the York RV show they only had three units that were in our price range and they weren t really what we were looking for so we went back to Camping World where we ve purchased before. They always seem to have a good selection and just what we re looking for It was good to see that Taylor was still there after all these years, we bought our first camper from him, he always will work hard to make a deal happen. We worked with Chris this time on a Sunday told him what we were looking for. He called me on Monday. He found the camper that suits us price and size just what we were looking for and now having it sent up here. The process was super easy and we re now making arrangements to pick it up. we went back to Camping World after purchasing from them before we had some issues and Jody the manager really listened to my husband s concerns and addressed each one of them. Glad they could take care of us again and looking forward to picking up our new camper. If your looking for a camper see Chris Leonzo!! Thanks, everyone!!

Overall the experience was good, they were very willing to work with me regarding my trade in and budget. My wife wasn t necessarily impressed by a distasteful comment made by the salesman (Jeremiah) about her being a domestic princess . Otherwise it was pretty good , we were able to leave with a camper we liked and a payment we are comfortable with.

Our salesperson Chris was awesome. He was very honest and upfront. He listened to everything we said and all we asked about. If he did not know the correct answer he did not pretend to know, he went to someone more knowledgeable for the information. Our time spent with Chris was very relaxed and informative. We really enjoyed our visit with him.

It was a great experience, that had lots of campers to look at and our salesman never once tried to sell me a camper. He let the campers sell themselves and when we had questions he took the time to answer them all with patience and knowledge. I would highly recommend the Harrisburg location for buying your next camper!

I picked up a lightly used 2021 Airstream Bambi 22FB. Carter McCue & all the staff were very helpful & friendly. The sale was expedited as I viewed the trailer on their website while viewing a similar but 2 year older unit online at the Latham, NY location earlier in the week.They assisted with installing my weight distribution hitch while I got a tour of the trailer & had it all hitched up & ready to hit the road for my 3 1/2 drive home while I was completing the paperwork with their financing representative.

The folks at Camping World have been great. My wife surprised me with a new Forest River (usually not a good idea). She really did her homework and Ricky in sales guided her quite well. Pickup, walk through and delivery we very smooth and actually fun.Fast forward a few weeks. We discovered a leak in the slide and trailed it back. They had the issue resolved within 24 hours. Friendly and knowledgeable staff is most important part of a buying experience. Highly recommended!

This is the 5th unit I ve picked up from a Camping World in 6 years. This is the second from CW Harrisburg. I m the kind of person who spends most of my time researching and negotiating most of my bigger purchases on line before stepping into a dealership. CW came through again for me. Thankfully I didn t have to travel out of state after a snow storm this time. My wife says I m obsessed. There s just always something different I d like to have. Anyway, thanks to Ricky in sales for his awesome patience and follow through, Peter and Brandon in finance for finding me a very competitive interest rate, Jeff for walking me through the 2024 Heartland Mallard M26 and Chloe for meeting with me and keeping the delivery process flawless.

At first I would of gave camping world a one star as the first sales guy pretty much told my husband and I were going to waste his time in Harrisburg. But then we ended up going to the Hamburg show and got an amazing sales guy by the name of Jeremiah. He definitely deserves more then 5 stars as he made it so easy and explained everything we asked. And I'm glad we gave it one more chance to go there. We found the toy hauler we have been looking for all because of Jeremiah. Our family thanks you so much!

Our salesman (Kevin Wormser) made our buying experience amazing. My wife and i are from upstate New York. We went to the camper show in harrisburg Pa. Sept. Of 2023. We went there to look foe a certain brand. Unable to find what we were looking for. We were just walking around when we ran into Kevin. He introduced himself. My wife and i stood talking with him for a few minutes. And he asked what we were looking for. We explained to him that we were there looking for a certain brand. He asked if we would mind if we told him what we wanted and we like sure. So we told him and he immediately went to work. He came back with all the answers to any questions we had. My wife and i were sold. He made us feel so comfortable we didnt want to look anywhere else. He is very easy to talk to, and he is on top of his game. I would highly recommend any one looking to buy an RV talk to Kevin.

Drove 3 hours to go to this camping world location to look at a fifth wheel we were considering. I asked for Kevin based off of so many reviews mentioning him. He did not disappoint. Very knowledgeable and listened to our considerable question. Made us a great offer on the unit we were considering. Sadly they are not a Brinkley Dealer yet. So we purchased elsewhere.

Your sales person MATTERS and dictates your experience at this location, document all of your interactions, and if you are being treated poorly in the beginning and that s the best they can do, good luck after you lock into a deal!ONLY giving it 2 stars out of gratitude to T.J. & Jodi the GM. From the beginning we felt pressure from Jeremiah. We tried giving ourselves space to make decisions but did not find the respect for that time. Jeremiah told us whatever we needed to hear even saying he would take as low as $50 for a deposit, to get this process started and make the sale. My husband communicated with Jeremiah directly over text & cell/office phone calls. Majority of his interactions were snarky from the get-go. He LITERALLY texted my husband don t lose excitement to which I interpreted as not wanting the high to wear off so we would purchase impulsively. He was extremely vague when answering our questions and didn t volunteer info unless we asked which as first timers, we didn t know what we didn t know.As orientation got closer our interactions started to feel more like red flags. He was very snarky, condescending, & deflecting in majority of our interactions. He used the deal that HE OFFERED US in a way to make us feel bad for getting over on them even though it was a deal we both agreed to, and when we took time to think about our decisions, he applied pressure to get us to respond to him. After feeling unsettled about our interactions with Jeremiah, I decided to look up reviews and was SHOCKED to see multiple people sharing the EXACT SAME EXPERIENCE specifically with Jeremiah! Some were oddly good, but others were exactly what we felt. After that we decided to talk to Jeremiah about how we felt our interactions/experience was going and request a separate appt. before orientation to talk about the warranty options ahead of time and to do a personal full hook up inspection with some friends to be safe. My husband called Jeremiah to tell him our dissatisfaction and make our request to which he kept repeating how we would get to do all of that the day of orientation before we sign. He was impatient and never understanding with only one agenda- himself and the sale. IT DIDN T MATTER WHAT WE NEEDED TO FEEL COMFORTABLE ABOUT THE PURCHASE, he could not see that we did not want to have the pressure on the same day we walk away as owners. He began to talk very aggressively & belittling to my husband over a 37min. phone call. He finally agreed to ask for the extra appt. for inspection but it was immediately denied because that wasn t the process , & we were unable to get an appt. for warranty. They said we could come in but wouldn t be guaranteed anyone could talk to us about warranty options or hook up the RV. The best they could offer was battery hookup but that wouldn t allow the big things to run which were the main things we wanted to check.We were very concerned about this entire interaction so we texted Jeremiah that we decided to not go through with the deal and requested to touch base about getting our security deposit back. His response was to talk down to my husband, list ALL the wonderful things he did to go out of his way to make this deal SO good for us with his VIP service , how he took a lower deposit than the baseline $1000 which we didn t even know was a baseline, followed by Down payment will not be reimbursed , no explanation. After a long back and forth phone tag and ignored phone calls, we finally got a hold of T.J. We decided to record the conversation due to our unprofessional interactions with JJ, and made sure he was aware. T.J. to our surprise was very remorseful, understanding, and helpful. He assured us he would contact his GM Jodi and get back to us the next day. He is the ONLY person who actually had the customer s experience in mind. He surprisingly did reach out after less than 24Hrs. informing us that our deposit would be refunded no problem. THANK YOU TJ for caring about more than just yourself and money and redeeming what you could for us in this experience.

Our Salesperson at the Hershey RV show, Jenna was very helpful. After we decided on a travel trailer, Keith helped us the rest of the way with our purchase. He was very thorough and always checking on us to see if we needed anything. He even followed up with us after our purchase. We had a very positive experience with Camping World, Harrisburg.

Terrible place. I found a used unit online that I was interested in but the unit was at a Camping World location in WI. I got a call from the Harrisburg PA store and was told that they could get that unit delivered to the Harrisburg store and for me to come in to talk about it. I drove an hour and 15 minutes from my house to the Harrisburg store, for them to tell me NO they can t get that unit. They tried to bait and switch me to a unit that I did not want. For 2 reasons, 1 the units they tried to sell me were 10k more than the one I was interested in and 2 they know if I bought a unit I didn t like, I d probably be back to trade it and buy another one. The sales person I was working with said they had 1 on consignment but couldn t sell it, because it was in consignment. I used to sell RV s, anytime we had a unit in consignment, we treated it like any other unit. So I hope the person who has that unit there on consignment reads this and learns they are not showing their unit. I left that store after they wasted several hours of my day, I called the WI store and they said absolutely we can sell you that unit and have it sent to a Camping World closer to your house .Buyer beware .

As a first time camper buyer, I found that my experience at Camping World to be very good. Specifically, I can say that Kevin Wormser helped my wife and I through the entire process. Mr. Wormser was not high-pressure and actually helped us to find an option that saved my family and I a few thousand dollars. Kevin was patient and gave us good insight regarding the practical considerations in the use of a camper (my wife and I valued this input). Kevin was honest and never "pushy" and we found his own camping experiences to be useful to us. My personal experience with Kevin is such that he will be my exclusive contact for all future camper related items. He's a good guy and has earned my trust.Regards,Kevin G. Kevin is an excellent sales person, as is the rest of the sales team. They are patient and really take the time to understand your needs. The only reason I m giving them 3 stars is not because of Kevin, who is GREAT, but because of the lack of follow through with the rest of the team. Granted, this was during the Hershey show, so they were short staffed on site, thus, there were delays and unresponsiveness to emails and calls, which was very frustrating and disappointing. There is $995 fee for prep work but the camper wasn t clean, stove was malfunctioning, among other things during final walkthrough. However, Kevin made it right before we left. After we left, we found a new things wrong with the camper (switch broken, dry rot on rubber piece by hitch, bracket loose, no drain for the fresh water tank), but Kevin assured us if we bring it in, these things will be resolved. If you purchase, make sure you ask about the extended service plans!! I asked several times and no one got back to me. We sat at the desk and found out the extended warranty was $10k. Had we known this prior, we wouldn t have made the purchase. There should be more transparency, especially when the customer makes five inquiries about it in the week management should ensure they are properly staffed during the Hershey show otherwise, close the doors that week.

My girlfriend and I went to look at campers and the sales person we got was amazing. Samuel was very young but was our favorite person to deal with by far over the course of our shopping process. If it was only about him I'd give 5 stars. The finance manager Andrew was the opposite. He was not nice to my girlfriend and I, and tried to make us feel stupid. He also lied to us about multiple things to try to make the sale. Numbers/features/etc. If it was for him I'd give it 1 star.So I fell in the middle with 3 stars. They have good campers and okay people depending on who you get. Ultimately the hidden dealer fees are triple what you'll pay at most other dealerships. For this reason we shopped elsewhere.
