Bob's Automotive rocks. Dropped off my Trailblazer in the afternoon. Not long after he called to tell me what was wrong, what needed to be done and how much it would cost. It was repaired and ready the next day and the cost was less than what he thought it would be. Found my "go to" mechanic.

The transmission on my car went suddenly on a Sunday night. I live an hour and a half away from the Harrisburg area and had to totally guess and have faith in whom to trust with repair. Initially tow went to Hoffman Ford, they told me they couldn't even look at my car, which is a Ford, for 30 days! I saw Bob's Auto Repair on Google Maps and read some reviews. Ended up calling and speaking with Rob, they picked my car up from the dealer and confirmed the transmission was toast. They were great and worked with the company I had an extended warranty with through. Two weeks later, car is good as new and rides better than ever. Very thankful and appreciative of honesty and care these guys showed. If I were a local, I would take my vehicles to Bob's for everything.Service: Transmission

I was so impressed with his reviews so I called. But the older gentleman that answered sounded like he didn t have a clue. I asked him how much would he charge to run a diagnostic test. He said it would depend on what was needed??? I asked again and he said don t worry. We will treat you right. I said I need a price because I m limited with my finances and he said ok. That was it. He had nothing else to say so I ended the call. Very disappointed as I need a trustworthy mechanic ASAP.

I can't say enough good things about Bob's Automotive. On a trip from NYC to Virginia, car starts running rough on I-81, check engine light starts flashing, five minutes to closing time. Took the nearest exit, looked online for highly rated mechanics nearby and called Bob's. The guy said, "You're five minutes away, limp on in here and we'll look at it first thing in the morning. Hotel right next door." By 8:30 the next morning they'd fixed it and I found out the mechanic, Rob, had spent three hours the previous evening researching the issue. Stellar service, good prices, honest as they come -- just wish I lived nearer so I could patronize them all the time.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Bob & his Dad were very helpful when I bought a car from them. They went out of their way AFTER the sale was done in helping me get it registered and notarized, even got me a good deal w/insurance.They were definitely helpful beyond their obligations. Bob and his team are always smiling and ready to assist when I walk through the door. I switched to Bob's several years ago for all of my personal services after I was asked by my employer to drop off one of our company trucks. I was looking at a vehicle they had on the internet, told them it would take 1 1/2 hours I told them when I started was in contact with them about every 30 minutes during the trip. Told them I was even 10 minutes away. Got there a guy named Bob came out said the had a deposit earlier. Not sure about the repairs but the business definitely lacking following up with people trying to buy vehicles. They could at anytime the could have told us not to spend a total of 3 hours of driving.I hope their repair business is better than they communicate this is the only business I ever complained about on the internet.

We moved to the area in 2021 and were looking for a local place to get inspections done...thought we would give Bob's a try and totally glad we did...Took my truck in to get inspected...was done in a few hours and didn't need anything...great service...we found our place...Husband's truck is next and that's where it's going.

There are no words that would suffice to explain how truly amazing these people are. Their work is impeccable. Their customers service is phenomenal. They take care of your automobile issue at reasonable cost and in a timely manner. They're the Best!!!!
