I have never had a mechanical issues after my car has been serviced for whatever?Mr.Metz Is a very nice man and his services are reasonably priced.I have had my cars serviced there for over 3 years. I have also purchased 2 cars from Metz Auto. His cars are fairly priced and very good for the money spent. I am still driving the same used car 2004 with low mileage. Very clean.

Unbeatable prices on cars, but as the old adage goes, you get what you pay for! Less than 2 months after purchase, I'm left stranded on the Baltimore beltway! Having been the second car I bought from them this year, one being from my son, I figured they'd quickly get me in to look at my problem. Nope. They said they'd look at it 4 days from now and hopefully have it done the following week. I would have thought that a recently bought vehicle would take a little priority especially knowing that it's my only means of transportation. Person on the phone didn't care cause I hadn't purchased a warranty! Didn't think I'd need to use a warranty less than 60 days after purchase. Kind of doubt he actually did the inspection he said that he did before we took ownership. Unless you plan on plunking down a few extra thousand dollars for a warranty, don't purchase a vehicle from here! Way to risky! These vehicles are cheap for a reason! Update : the problem they said they fixed came back 3 months later! Took it to someone else to get fixed. Avoid this place for EVERYTHING!

BEWARE!!! Do not purchase a car from this business! The cars here are cheap for a reason! I ve bought 2 cars from Dale and they both been nothing but problems. He seems like a genuine mechanic but he is not!!! Our head gasket blew within two months of owning vehicle. Stay far away from this business. Very shady and unprofessional

I bought a car from him it was way too much which is my fault. I've gone to him with problems and he charges me w too much.When I called to talk to him today he said too bD it's your fault for the answer to the car.He has no problem screwing you over and he admits it.Stay away from metz autoServices: Electrical repair, Auto glass repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Tire rotations

This shop has made repairs on three of my vehicles with great success and at a fair price in comparison to other local repair shops. I would like to give five stars, but purchased a 2006 f150 with 75,000 original miles at approximately 1k under asking. Definitely not satisfied with my purchase. In the owners defense, I was in a rush and should have given it a closer look. Don't do as I have done!!

I would give zero start but I can t.He doesn't take care of his long time customers and that he puts the wrong years in the widows of the cars he's trying to sellMine said 2014 but it was actually a 2004.

Excellent and quality service from Metz. They are very knowledgeable, trustworthy, fair, and affordable. Were easily able to fix something another shop did not do correctly. Their work certainly exceeded my expectations. Would highly recommend this auto shop to anyone!!

Had a radiator replaced by him 2 days ago. Last night my fiance was on her way to York and lost all power driving the highway, almost wrecking. Pulled over at a truck stop and fluid was pouring out. METZ had hooked the transmission coolant line up wrong causing this. A simple radiator replacement has caused complete chaos. Will update this when I confront him first thing morning

We come here from Maryland to get our cars serviced for regular maintenance because we trust Dale. He is honest, and fair with pricing. We needed a car so we had him find us a used one with low mileage at a good deal. He was so excited to show us the deal he had found that you would have thought he had bought it for himself. We don't go to anyone else unless it's not possible to make it to PA!

I really don't enjoy posting bad reviews and although Dale is a very nice guy, honestly the results of his and/or his technicians work is substandard, to say the least.1I'm a very busy business owner who needs his transportation daily so I wasn't happy to have to return 3 times for an issue that, if i had the time, I could've repaired better myself with no training, which I eventually did.Although happy with the brake job results, the converter replacement was a fiasco, and in my opinion, turns out wasn't the cause of my issues to start with. Just an assumption or guess. The exhaust system was loose, thus rattled loudly, was missing clamps and driving me crazy for weeks until I finally crawled under it and repaired it myself after their repeated attempts, and they have a lift!This vehicle was all original stock when I took it there and quiet as can be.I was then informed (since the cat didn't solve the issue) there were other issues with the transmission and distributor at a cost of an additional $700 that turned out to be incorrect. I knew I was finished there.When I inquired about getting it in writing for my records, his response was that he didn't have time or proper printouts..Sounded kinda suspicious when the vintage vehicle has less than 53k miles on it.This is not any type of revenge folks, simply awareness to anyone considering using them for service...My advice..with any purchases or service anywhere, ask questions, get firm answers, or go elsewhere. You'll probably save money and time in the long run..This is as cordial as i can be and it's just my personal experience.

Love the honesty! We were looking at a car but Dale wasn t happy with the repairs so he worked and worked to get it to a point we could take it home.

When I asked for a engine replacement I told them more than once the model of my vehicle and when they received it they call me to tell me they gave me the wrong estimate since they used another vehicle, increasing the price of my repair. I asked them to use the power steering of my original motor thinking it may me still good. When I went to get my car the mechanic explained those power steering aftermarket gets bad fasts and should get one from a junker...but if they had one from the engine replacement why didn't they call me before to suggest this? After I got my car there was a leak from said power steering and rack and pinion. Yes I brought the rack and pinion... And there is a transmission leak. They told me to use an oil design to fix the leak but I also provided the gasket to avoid this. They can work well but they lack some customer service or communication...oh and good luck calling them on a Friday, all the times I did they never answer and they didn't return my calls on Monday when I left a voicemail. Best thing is that they have financing and they sell some cars.

We purchased a vehicle from Dale on October 4th, 2021 at a good price. The next day we had to take it back because of noticing a couple of issues. They had it get inspected and diagnosed the problems and his crew fixed it and all at NO COSTS to us!! Inspection and emissions was no cost as well for the inconvenience.Update: it has been a month and we are still having issues with the vehicle. Took it to our trusted mechanic and found several things wrong and we had to shell out hundreds of dollars to get things done. As of today, 11/6/2021, we cannot fill our windshield washer fluid because all of it just runs out and a person we know who is mechanic noticed it, and or engine light came on and he read it twice with the meter showing it is the catalytic converter mounted near thengine bank 2 and/or the O2 sensor. I'm really thinking about filing at the magistrate because I'm just tired. This is the third time within a month with this SUV.

Dale has been maintaining my cars and trucks for over 10 years. I have never taken him anything that he couldn't fix - he is a great mechanic. He is always honest and tries to save me money when he can. His prices are always fair. WHY GO ANYWHERE ELSE??

Spent 1000 dollars on a truck to have repaired. Still leaks it's been months and he keeps promising to fix and won't. If your words no good your works no good he's been to court many times he's about to be taken againService: Engine repairService: Engine repair

Pretends to be a man of integrity, but, he is not. What Dale is, is...a colossal liar, cheater and thief. PLEASE, DO NOT use this man's services or purchase his broken down cars. He will NEVER repair anything the warranty covers.

Bought a cuv from him. He wanted to make sure we were satisfied. But when we asked about a light on in the instrument panel he thought we we didn t like it and immediately tried to shoo us out the door. Also you could tell he was in a big hurry.

Absolutely the worst Mechanic, Uses " Used " parts when new should be used . You cant trust that he has done the work you have paid him for. Passed my vehicle inspection with two headlights out and never fixed them.An absolute hack, kids are in the garage and teenagers are working on cars. its a nightmare shop , they will undoubtedly be out of business soon, please do not use themServices: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Always has been the number one mechanic in my life for years!! His knowledge and care about cars and his customers/people is rare! He has also taught many other accomplished mechanics who wouldn't be where their at today with out his help! & Neither would I with out his help with my vehicles! Places now a days take u for ur dime but not this guy! He's very trustworthy, affordable and helpful! I couldn't ask for a better mechanic, and you won't be able to either once you experience Metz Automotive services and compassion!!! Decent vehicles and prices. Extended warranty available. Some vehicles have 90 day powertrain/4,000 mile warranty

Was hired to fix a very expensive street rod let the motor run without water in it cook the motor cracked the block took it back over to get fixed and but it gets fixed and he still couldn't fix it it's still overheat it's been 4 months and the trucks still not fixed the man is very dishonest do not take your vehicle to this man beware very dishonest manService: Engine repair

Was suppose to replace a ball joint, Did not replace it lied . I was driving when it broke and almost killed myself and 2 children . His shotty work actually damaged my vehicle.Has uncertified Mechanics working on cars ,They look to be teenagers.There is a woman who looks to be Mentally challenged running the office part.. There are children running around the Garage and riding around the parking lot on a bike. Extremely unprofessional.Service: Steering & suspension repair
