On short notice. Without an appointment. Alex found an hour to get my truck in and inspected quickly. His good and timely work previously. Got the call for him again. He is very helpful with customer needs and does good work at competitive yet reasonable costs. Thank you again for your help and timely work making your schedule meet my schedule which isn't very open. You will see more business from me.

A mechanic you can trust. Alex s has taken care of my car for the past year and I have no complaints. They provide advice you can count on, and their work is reliable and thorough. Prices are incredibly reasonable (they do not overcharge!) and I trust them with helping get the most out of my older vehicle. Will never get work done anywhere else as long as I m in Hanover. 10/10

Our Bodyshop uses Alex's autoworks for alignments reprogramming and suspension work. We are always happy with the quality of the work and they gets it done in a timely manner. The shop has always be transparent about what needs done. If you looking for a professional shop that won't charge dealerships prices Alex's Autoworks is for you.

Alex & his team are awesome This is one of the VERY few Honest mechanics left. I may even be done with the "chain store" auto needs completely after my last mishap?After getting a regular oil change, & tire rotation at a "big chain" tire dealer, 10 completely wrong lugs were used to mount my tires back on my car. This could have caused an accident with my kids in the car so many times. Alex caught it, asked me what I wanted to do, but explained the dangers of not having the correct lugs.I hope his service never leaves the area, but only grows his footprint. Great guys over there!!!!I'd like to get my 1986 Oldsmobile restored, but not sure if he has the time to dedicate to it. Alex stays booked, & busy.

This is the most nice and honest shop I ve ever been too. I had rid knock in my engine and they were able to figure out what was wrong with it and gave me a price on what it would cost to fix in less than a day. I wasn t aware of the fee for keeping the car there for a certain period of time, but he didn t charge me just because of my situation. I will definetely go here if I have any issues with my car. He even offered to buy my car incase Toyota gave me a bad deal for a trade in. Couldnt be more nice than that. I would definetely recommend.

I recently moved to Hanover and needed a new mechanic, Alex's Autoworks was highly recommended by several people. Mechanic Raymond did an amazing job! Extremely professional and thorough. Alex s Autoworks was recommended to my mom when she started experiencing intermittent braking issues when driving her 2010 Acura. The shop inspected all the brake components, which were in great condition, so they recommended flushing and refilling the brake fluid. They completed the work in a timely manner for a reasonable cost, and the brakes are functioning as they should. She plans to continue using this shop for any needed repairs on her vehicle. Thanks to Alex and Raymond for taking care of her Acura!

So far everything works great. I trust Alex.This is why I wasn t so bothered that I wasn t told a price before it was done. But, that should have been done differently. If I didn t have the money, we both wouldn t have been happy if I couldn t pay it. I didn t realise it would be so expensive.Because I trust him, it wasn t as bad.

Alex does amazing work. We've trusted so many vehicles with him over the years and even after moving to Chicago we knew we wanted him to work on our vehicle when we came back for a short visit. We needed an oil change, new tires, and to replace a damaged mirror with only a week to squeeze it all in. Alex was able to get us in by the middle of the week and went above and beyond the make sure all the repairs were completed in time even though Mazda's shipping was delayed. His work is always fast and efficient and you can trust that it is done right. Alex and his team have been servicing my vehicles in all aspects for years and I can t speak highly enough about their work and accommodations. From engine-out service all the way down to bushings, I can always count on them to be honest and true to their promises. I am really glad I found Alex's shop as they are someone I can trust. I have gone to so many shops and I always feel like they are just trying to find things wrong with the car just to make a few extra bucks. Alex checks everything to make sure it is safe and up to state laws. He gives me feedback and tips and provides me knowledge on things if I wanted to fix it myself. Alex went above and beyond helping my mother and I when our car broke down outside of Dillsburg on rt 15. We were on our way home to Virginia when our car started having issues. We were 21 miles away from his shop and having a difficult time getting a tow truck that could tow our vehicle plus the trailer we were towing. Alex offered to not only come help tow the trailer while our vehicle was towed back to his shop, but also provided us a ride since the tow truck wouldn't. He sent one of his employees, Raymond, to come get us. Raymond was kind and helped get us safely back to the shop.. Once at the shop Alex was quick to get our car in and diagnosed. Raymond was quick getting the parts needed for our repair and everything was fixed and done within 2 hours. Alex and his team are beyond thoughtful and wish there were more people out there that would provide the customer service like they did. If I could give Alex and his team 10 stars I would. Thank you Alex and Raymond for saving us today now we can safely get home to Virginia.

I had an engine repaired in the Alex's shop. Throughout the entire process Alex and his team were honest, accommodating, true to their promises. "I fix cars" that's Alex's motto and he stands for his words. Many shops before him simply refused the task after they had heard about a bad headgasket. Finding a good mechanic whom you could trust something more laborous than a simple change of brake pads is quite a task these days.Summary: if you are in need for a complex work on an engine or any other skill-and-labour demanding repair - I would consider calling Alex.Services: Transmission, Engine repair
