Fantastic service. I was driving up through PA to see family when my car started having issues hours from my destination. Experts had recommended I stop driving the car immediately to prevent damage. I was stuck in an unfamiliar town and Tim and Candice were nice enough to look at my car at the last minute 2 days before Christmas when every other garage was closed or booked up. If it wasn't for Tim's Expert diagnosis I wouldn't have been able to spend Christmas with my family. Truly a Christmas miracle. I cant thank them enough. I highly recommend their services.

Nice people, but almost took advantage of me. After they replaced my transmission twice and did my inspection I took it back because if a noise I was hearing on the left front tire. They test drove it and then said it was a sway bar which would be over $300 to fix.Based on this I took it somewhere else to get a second opinion. This new place said it was just the sway bar linkage not the entire sway bar. Which would only be over $200 instead of $300. They then looked at all four tires since it was still making noice after the linkage was replaced on both the left front and right front.They found the tires were getting worn and should be replaced soon. I was not told this by this shop. They also found the brakes were 0/32nd not 3/32nd on both rear brakes that this shop said on the paperwork. They didn't inform me about this either after the inspection. The new shop replaced my brakes after finding this.Overall, go somewhere that will help you and go beyond what they are paid because in the end safety comes first.

The folks at VJ Wood were unbelievably helpful. The kind woman who answered the phone helped me get set up with a tow, and she even helped me get an appointment with their repair folks. The tow truck driver called to let me know he was on his way, and he even tried jumping the battery in case that was why the car wouldn't start. Their pricing is very reasonable, and my experience with their staff has been so smooth in an otherwise stressful situation. I'm so thankful I called VJ Wood! Waited on a busy road after the police had to call due to car not having gas. The wait was over 40 minutes. Their location was 10 min away. Gas didn t give how many miles were left after 25 miles I had 2 miles left to gas station and not one person from my work or passing by while almost causing Accidents would one person help. Then he came told me price I stated no police said yes they would hook me up and take car since it s unsafe place. I couldn t walk to get gas since my car couldnt pull over on the safe of the road l. He took advantage of a driver and that company I would never use ever again. Nor did I want to. The state police made me. Be warned don t call them so if you wanna spend 90 for 1 min of work call them.

Before arrival I phoned this business to pick up items in my car that was towed, customer service seemed professional. Upon arrival my nephew proceeded inside first asking for assistance in return he received blatant ignorance from the older lady in the front. I couldn t understand why so I decided to go in myself, I had no issues with the woman inside until she realized I was with the previous customer who went inside (my nephew). She commented are you with him outside I replied yes and still wished her a great day. About 5 min later the same lady walks out to the lot and approaches us insinuating we were stealing radios and that they have cameras. I asked her what the issue was because we now feel racially profiled. No one deserved to be harassed. She said she treats everyone human so I asked why she was treating us different. She couldn t answer that part but she also couldn t answer why she wasn t rude until she saw my nephew in person, then rude to me after she realized I was with him (we are mixed race but he has dreadlocks). Felt like racism and just disappointed in that lady and her morals. Wouldn t sit right with me if I didn t speak up.Service: Special vehicle towing

I had a day of days with trying to get my car towed. Two companies canceled on me and a simple tow to a dealership (because of a damaged wheel lock curse you Honda!!) turned into an all day fiasco.VJ Wood rescued me and were proactive with calls updating times. Driver was amazing and professional and empathetic with my day.I would use them again in a heartbeat!!Service: Car towing

They arrived quickly, but there was a damage incident when they attempted to tow my truck. To their credit, we made an agreement and they fixed part of it at their expense. However the truck sat for almost two full weeks before they even looked at it. Their mechanic insisted it needed all new brake lines and the estimate was for $1100. He claimed it was 10 hours of labor because he had to bend all the brake lines. I had it towed to my regular mechanic instead. Total repair costs for all new stainless steel lines with the tow included= $580. So I guess V.J. Wood's tow service was fine, but the garage was a total rip off.EDIT: They failed to repair the transmission cooler properly. The transmission fluid leaked out at the repair and destroyed the transmission.In summary, damaged my car in tow, failed to make reasonable repairs as promised. Cost me thousands of $. Horrible.

VJ Woods has been there for me ever since relocating to the Hamburg area. Not only have they fixed many of my big and small car problems in the last 4 months, they are my neighborly local mechanic & bright light during these uncertain times. Took my Truck to few different places no one could figute out my problem with my ignition system I was getting so frustrated I was almost giving up. V.J. Wood's had it for about 1 hr an fixed it and at price that was phenomenal i couldn't believe it ......awesome job guys !!!!!! You guys now have a customer for life. I'm sending all my friends and family

Driver was friendly but did more damage to my car than what was wrong prior to towing. Very unsatisfied, and they didn't seem to care at all when I called and notified them of what they did and how much it will cost me to fix. Not even an apology.

We broke down quiet a few miles from home and we had our Blutick along. The towing service was not only quick to arrive, but did not have a problem with our dog riding along ... I give them 5 out of 5 stars.....

Car had sustained damage that had not been there before being towed. When confronting the employee at the desk about the matter, as well as the insane fees that I doubt are legal, I was told to "go ahead and get a lawyer". If you like to be treated very disrespectfully, then this is the place to be. Do not use this company.

My car broke down and I thought I needed a tow back to NJ but the person who came said he knew what the problem was. He towed my car to the shop and an hour later, I was on the road again. Problem solved. And this was on a national holiday.Thanks a lot for your friendly help.Highly recommended.

My Silverado down on sunday aug 2nd near Hamburg. Home was 240 miles away near Pittsburgh.AAA called VJ Wood who sent there guy Joe with a flatbed. He loaded it up and drove myself, 80 yr old mom and 10 year old daughter the 240 miles in comfort and safety.A job well done.thank you. Jeff

Had my truck in for there Inspection special. Not knowing I do my own work and just replaced my brakes myself, they failed my truck because they said It will need new brakes. I said I would stop in so they could show me and they then changed there mind and said that they would let them pass this year. This place is a joke.

Very poor tow team. Called in for a tow and scheduled it for a certain time and they were 3 hours late. Very disappointed when I called and the manager insisted they were on there way but didnt matter to me. Called always towing and they were there within 30 minutes.

I called around 8:00 for estimate on Monday morning they told me to get back to me within a half hour for the price a few hours later I get a text message says she was busy all morning and she will get back to me with an estimate a day later I still haven't heard nothing so much for good customer service
