Dan did a FANTASTIC job at transforming my stock stereo into an unbelievable Sound Quality based audio system.In most car audio builds, "loud" is the goal. In this instance that was not the case. Dan installed this build with the final outcome to have as flat of a response as possible, meaning everything you listen to is exactly how the artist intended it to be.The front stage sounds absolutely gorgeous. Vocals come direct center of dashboard, panning of song elements are easily distinguished across the dash, clarity and depth of the front stage is magnificent where you can hear every little thing exactly where it was intended.Lets not forget about those beefy midbasses! Dan installed 8" midbasses which produce a HELLA strong chest thump in the 200-80hz range. These woofers pull all the bass forward and give the illusion the bass is actually in front of you. (Mid-bass IS NOT sub-bass.)The sub-bass blends beautifully into the front stage and surrounds you with a nice warmth as sub-bass should do. The subs do not pull the bass behind you as a lot of installers tend to do. Dan crossed them over at 60hz down to 20hz. This only allows super long waveforms to be played which cannot be pinpointed from a certain location making the mid-basses standout and pull the bass forward.------If you have any interest in listening to my car as a demo to see what Dan can actually do, let him know about me and I can hopefully drive on down as I do not live far from the shop.------Equipment Used:- Illusion C3 Components- Ground Zero 8" Midbasses- (2) 12' Alpine X Series Subs- Audiocontrol D-6.1200 Amp and DSP- (2) Alpine X-A90M Amps

Got an entry level Kenwood stereo installed in my RV in time for a month long trip in August. It was quick, painless, not expensive, and the system works flawlessly for what it is. Sound quality in the RV is not great because there is so much noise when you are going down the road, but the unit does everything that I need it to do and more. I would recommend!

Attention to detail and fit & finish is fantastic. I've got a stereo in my truck now that I'm thrilled with. It's like having a new ride. Fair pricing on all hardware as you can see it all online. He took time to explain functions and controls. Will return for future work.

Stoped in to see if I could get an upgrade on my Jeep. Owner was super disrespectful. Asked me if I knew how to get on Google. Go somewhere else. Shop was super cluttered and disorganized.

We took our first vehicle here in 2022 and Dan did an amazing job. When we brought our brand new 2023 Santa Fe ( 700 miles on it) in what a decision we regret. We were given the wrong DSP which Dan did rectify with the difference in towards our speakers. There is no sound dampening besides some putty. No sound barrier, the windows hit the speakers when you roll them down, the wiring looks like a complete mess, and if you turn the sub off there is no bass whatsoever. Not to mentioned what we were told was at most a day each time which turned into 6 days, one of them we lost a full day work pay. There are no brackets to hold our speakers in just screwed right to the door. No adapters. What a waste of $1400. Now we have to spend more money to have all of it installed correctly somewhere else because we fear if we drop our vehicle again we may not get it back til Halloween.

Dan s installation is not only neat and professional but bested only by the sound quality of the products that he suggested. System sounds ridiculously awesome!! He took the interest in what I typically listen to and using the DSP he set it up exactly to the type of music I prefer!! By far, best experience from in my opinion, the best installer!!

Terrible experience. Start to finish. Dan likes to make it sound like if he's given the opportunity, that he's more than willing to make the customer happy, but that in fact is nowhere close to true. I gave this guy plenty of patience, and plenty of time to do what should have taken one day. But 3 weeks later, n my patience has ran out. I'm sick of excuses. Ya, you're busy, so is everyone else. Get it together Dan. I wouldn't recommend this guy or business to my enemy. Terrible customer service, terrible business person. I hope your business fails, so that noone else has to experience what I have and others have! Never even gave me a receipt. POS

Dan did a very professional job on my truck . Recommend the Sony car play and installed a back up camera. Looks factory installed! Highly recommend!

I had them install a new Sony radio in my 2012 Miata. Couldn t be more pleased. Works like a charm. All controls work. Back up camera too!!

I got 2 component speakers, 2 coaxial speakers, and a Boss Head Unit installed in my car by Dan. He recommended all the parts to me and explained at an expert level everything he was going to do when installing them. It was quick and easy to get into his shop, as he was willing to work with my busy schedule, and he did everything perfectly and the difference between my stock speakers and what's in my car now is amazing. I will be going back to Dan for all of my future car audio purchases, and I HIGHLY recommend to go to him to anyone that wants anything he offers installed, it will not disappoint.

It s not often that you find an experienced, consummate professional that is also super accommodating to a small job. I wanted a basic head unit to replace a outdated aftermarket unit in a recently purchased 98 Silverado. Dan suggested a unit I had never heard of, but broke down the history of the company and the reasons he loved them. I decided to trust his expertise and I m not disappointed at all, except that I didn t upgrade the speakers while I was at it. I ll certainly be back when that time comes. Dan is one of the top good guys- his passion for what he does is evident, and his selflessness in regards to the customer is refreshing. If you re looking for a reasonable, reliable, and talented stereo shop, look no further.

Worked with Dan over the past couple of weeks about upgrading the factory stereo in Honda. He came up with a variety of solutions for fitting into a certain budget and the quality of components for each level. Once established the process of ordering and setting up the installation time was straight forward. Got the car back on the day promised and with patience the amp and components were processed to my liking. Now I have a killer stereo that can outdo almost any stock stereo (and especially anything from Honda) out there in clarity.

Dan was awesome. He walked me through what my options were and suggested things we could do to have my daughters backup camera installed on a budget. He was timely with his installation and did very nice work. He also walked me through the features of the new head unit and made 100% sure I was satisfied.

Flawless experience all around! I needed my subwoofer and amplifier installed into my new car. I am picky about who touches my car, and did a lot of research before I decided to call here.The reviews do this place justice with 5 stars. Dan was super easy to work with and got me in 2 days after I called. He is phenomenal at what he does and is super knowledgeable. He explains everything in detail, tells you exactly what he is doing, and why he is doing it. Great guy in general; stood and talked with him for a while when I picked up my car at closing time. If you are anywhere near the Greensburg area, I would highly recommend having your work done here.

The best car service I ve ever had, they gave me options to choose from, were flexible with my schedule, and I even got the chance to break my cost down a little into a deposit, and pay the remainder which was wonderful for me. You honestly can t even tell that a new radio was installed , definitely looking forward to coming back for my speakers, and I m also getting their remote starter system installed! I m beyond excited that I have this great company to guide me by with my car costs and repairs! Thank you so much , Dan even told me about the broken speaker I had , and made a suggestion! He s truly wonderful, takes his time, and is very patient with questions!!! I recommend 110% , best in town, very local, and if you have to wait they even have a section that goes into a movie theater where you can recline the chair back!

Dan definitely helped me get the system installed in my 2022 road glide talked me through all the different routes we could take to get what I wanted out of my budget and what I was looking for the finished product definitely was better than what I expected and I am very pleased with the end result from the quotes I received from other shops including Harley it self I definitely saved over 1,000$ by going with Dan and definitely don t regret it

Stay away from Dan he s a joke ! Had my car for 2 weeks and did nothing to it and tried to say it was a fog light job and he has bigger jobs so decided to not do my job and told me to come get my car and the keys will be in gas cap !! He s a joke and most unprofessional we have ever seen !! No quote , no estimate nothing just leave your car and hope it gets done !! He talked bout items that had nothing to do with my job and looked like he just woke up !! He s awful stay away do yourself a favor !! He s to bust for small jobs and don t care about this bad review he said !!! Had my car for 2 weeks !! Touched nothing !!

Dan does high quality work.. Very helpful with everything. Could not be happier with the stereo installation work he did on my sons car.. I would never go anywhere else for car audio needs after dealing with The Stereo Shop.. Would give more than 5 stars if I could..

We had a remote start installed on my daughters car as a Christmas present. Truly painless experience. Dan went above and beyond to accommodate us and get us in in a timely manner. Pricing was fair and the installed unit is awesome. Thank you very much.

Went in for a car stereo price. Three weeks later and nothing. The office area smells terrible and had things thrown everywhere. Very unorganized and unprofessional. Not the operation it used to be. Go elsewhere

The guys are very awesome that work here! Called about getting a stereo installed had me in the next day! Very fast and excellent customer service. Explains all the details and functions of what the radio unit can do and functions! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Came in with my client. Was told that the gentleman I needed to talk to was on the phone. He acknowledged us. Then he proceeded to attend to a woman that came in after us. After he was done trying to sell her some equipment, he finally got back to us. I felt he wanted to sell us quick, and I don't feel that he truly wanted to listen to our situation.I won't be recommending them for any sound equipment based on that poor interaction.

Dan is friendly, knowledgeable and an expert in car audio. He used high tech equipment no other car audio shop the area uses. If you want to upgrade your car, boat or motorcycle audio, go see Dan!

Dan and his team did a phenomenal & meticulous install job with my 2018 BMW X3 fitted with 2 15" subs and amp. I could not be happier with the end result of this project. The system is absolutely fantastic and Dan's attention to detail was very impressive. The Stereoshop Mobile is hands down the best choice for a custom audio solution in the Pittsburgh area!
