I took my f 350 in for an inspection. I purchased truck here at Smail over 10 years ago. I've maintained it and it has served me well.I was told this time by the mechanic that my truck failed because of a bushing missing on front NEW shock. Aloose bolt on drivers seat, a hole in my hitch,and finaly a plate light out. It failedI took truck to another garage. They put a new bulb in ,a shock bushing and it passed inspection.Seat belt and hitch were not an issue.. they couldn't find a loose seat bolt. The service man I could tell Tom wasn't peticurly happy with mechanics opinion but it was out of his hands.Just for the record the other garage made me replace back brakes because driver side one was low. They were right when I got home to do it.If we are looking so hard to find petty reasons to fail a vehicle why do we miss the important ones ?

From Sales to Service, Smail Ford has been top notch! We purchased our pre-owned Explorer from them last year and have not been disappointed. Took it in for inspection today and was treated wonderfully by the whole service team from beginning to end! Thank you guys so much for being the best!

Tyler in the service department was awesome and did everything he could to help me.My F150 broke down and I had it towed to my regular shop, which apparently was purchased by a new company, and they diagnosed my issue incorrectly after having the vehicle for 3 days. After it broke down again a day later, I researched the issue in connection with the codes the shop pulled and determined it was most likely a transmission issue. Since I no longer trusted the previous shop and it looked like something more on the complex side, I decided to reach out to a Ford dealer directly (which I almost never do).I spoke to Tyler over the phone, told him about the codes and my issue and he asked me to bring it in, so he could diagnose it. He stated he most likely couldn't get to it until the following day. He called me back 3-4 hours later and confirmed it was the exact issue that I suspected it was based on my research. I authorized the repair.A few days later, he called me and informed me the parts came in sooner than expected and the truck was good to go. I've been trying the truck on my normal commute for almost a week now and have had zero issues.Thanks again Tyler!

Took my vehicle here to get my clutches realigned on 08/28/23, did not get my car back until 09/21/23. Was not offered a courtesy car, and had to find rides to work for nearly a month. Was told it would be done two weeks earlier, only to be told the parts weren t even ordered. After awhile and multiple calls and complaints they had the parts overnighted and my car was returned two days later. After the fix, I noticed a sound that seemed like maybe my tire rods needed realigned, though I wasn t sure. Recently I went on a trip with my car only for it to seem significantly worse. I had my car towed and taken to a mechanic. I was asked if my car was worked on at some point, when I responded yes, they informed me that both my front wheel barrings were completely shot. They informed that this does not happen so quickly from just general wear and tear. Long story short, I waited a month for a 3,000+ dollar repair, only to follow it up shortly with a 600 dollar repair because they rushed and couldn t be bothered to put my car back together right. 600 dollars out of my pocket for their mistake and genuine negligence. An Incredibly frustrating and just disappointing experience. Would absolutely never recommend anyone taking their car to be repaired here. In fact, don t buy a Ford.

Traveled to the Greensburg area to see my girlfriend when I lost the rear brakes on my Navigator. Had my SUV towed in to their facility and had the rear pads and rotors replaced. Great service by their team, they really know how to make a customer feel like a person and not just another dollar. Wanted to give a shout-out to Greg also who helped me out with getting my Navigator done quickly and getting me back on the road. If you ever need quality work or maintenance done to your Lincoln/Ford, this is the place to go if you re in the Greensburg/Westmoreland area.

I had my work truck towed to Smail on the evening of 6/26/23. This was not an easy tow. It's a large heavy box van loaded with tools and parts. Not just any tow truck can tow it. They took possession on 6/27/23. I stressed to them the importance of having my work truck back on the road since this is my livelihood. *Note* I bought the truck brand new from Smail Commercial sales, plus two other brand new vehicles from Smail after this one. Not that it mattered to them. Without dragging this on too long, it needed a new transmission (very expensive), just over 40k miles and just out of extended warranty. Ford or Smail refused to help me with the cost. I said fine, just order me a new one and get me back on the road. After many broken deadlines, promises, excuses, and not one return phone call from the service manager (He never once reached out to me...FACT) I had to once again pay to have my truck towed. This time I had it towed to a real garage with competent friendly people who had me back in business in short order. Smail Ford had my work truck for 21 calendar days before I finally wised up. Lesson learned.

Tremendous experience! The staff was extremely helpful, even when I was difficult. We searched high and low for months for the perfect vehicle, but it was well worth the wait. I was the first person they called when they found a vehicle that seemed like it might be the right fit for me. Brian Ulery was an awesome salesman, and a very nice guy. I would recommend Smail and Brian to anyone in the area looking to purchase a vehicle. Thank you!!

An unfortunate event led us to the Smail dealership. Our Ford explorer was totaled. A brand new one happened to be at Smail in the right color to replace our old one. John Skowronek had all the information and all the options ready for us. Absolutely no pressure. He provided all the options for us to choose the best one that fit our situation. We discovered Jason Mossing was the manager and we had dealt with him many times at Monroeville Ford. The decision was easy. We returned the next day, and everything was set up for us. It was a seamless experience. The vehicle is amazing and has so many special technical features. The Ford pass is a nice perk. We can t thank you enough. Diana and Wendell Scott

If you want to get a competitive price for a Ford go to Bud Smail Ford. They will have the competent sales people that will provide you with all the information to get you in the right vehicle for you. I have complete confidence in their ability to provide the services that you want to buy your next Ford.

1st time at the Ford Service shop. I think first impressions are important. In hospitality, knowledge, honesty and service... well done.You have set the bar very high. In short worth going out of your way for. And this is coming from a jeep owner, I can only imagine what you can do with Ford Bronco... thank you.

Was happy with service rep who we were in contact with. However our car was to be driven by a tech to make sure everything was good- dog hair was found all over driver seat- we do not own dogs nor have them in our vehicles. What if we had allergies?! Things inside were moved around. And our car was left with 22miles of gas left. Our rental had to have gas put in it before returned and we definitely did not leave our car with that little gas. Very upsetting with care of our vehicle.

I recently purchased a new vehicle from Smail Ford. It was a great experience. I would highly recommend them to any friends or family members looking to get a new or used vehicle. Everyone was incredibly helpful throughout the process, especially Michael Stanley, who was instrumental in helping me buy my first new SUV. Ordered a 2023 truck though Smail Ford when the order banks opened in 2022 fully expecting it not to come quickly, but when delay were extended due to built vehicle not being shipped the team at Smail Ford stepped up and did everything they could to move the process along as quickly as they could. With todays vehicle market and shortages all manufactures are having delays, so choosing the right dealer had become more important, Smail Ford has proven to be a good dealer working to make the best experience possible for their customers.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Took my vehicle in for a recall and figured I'd get my inspection done as well, since it was free since I purchased the vehicle there. Dealing with Tom in service was a nightmare. Called me twice to tell me he couldn't inspect it. Said tires the first time, but John at Firestone (who is great by the way) said my tires were good. Second time he tells me there is an issue with the brakes, which I just had done at Greg's Car Car in Scottdale (also amazing place). So then a third call he tells me he did emissions and that I'd need to fix my brakes to get it inspected. What a joke. I told him I'll take it somewhere else, which I should have done in the first place. I WILL NEVER RETURN HERE. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER VEHICLE HERE.Update: I got a call from Jordan, the manager, who also didn't seem to understand how this was a problem. When I asked him to justify how I was treated as a customer, he did nothing to own the actions of his staff and employees.

Couldn t recommend Smail Ford enough. Michael is who was taking care of my Bronco order and never left me in the dark, he would call to give me an update on my order even if there wasn t any. The whole process was super smooth and was in and out on Black Friday within an hour. I even drove an hour and a half just to go through them. 10/10 would recommend

I've bought many cars and This has been the best dealer experience I've ever had! I took my mom to buy a new car and Matt P. At the Smail Ford in Greensburg went above and beyond in the way that he helped us choose a car and at a fair price. He been helped my mom set up all of her Bluetooth and Android auto features on her phone and in the vehicle and taught her how to use them. I'm not in the market for a new car currently but I can tell you that when I am, I'll be coming here!

After my brand new truck was rear-ended, I needed the replacement tailight I sourced reprogrammed (blind spot monitoring system). When I brought in my truck, they were done in less than an hour. However when I got home I discovered one of the tabs on the 12V battery cover was broken off.When I brought it up with them, the service manager was polite and simply asked me to bring the truck back in so they could take a look.As soon as they saw it, they discussed it with one of their techs and there was no arguing, they agreed to order me a replacement. Within a week I was able to stop by and pick up a the replacement cover.Mistakes happen, but they were open, honest and transparent when I brought up the issue. Great service.

This review is based on the experience I had with the salesman John Poole of the Ford dealership. He was wonderful to work with. He was very knowledgeable on vehicles & very helpful. Although I went with a Toyota from elsewhere, I had to acknowledge his great customer service!

I am extremely satisfied with my car buying experience at Bud Smail Ford and more specifically with the salesperson, Lloyd Thomas! The moment I walked into the dealership Lloyd greeted me and took the time to discuss my vehicle needs and even took the time to get me to test drive my selection. This was not the experience I had walking into other dealerships before checking out Bud Smail Ford. Lloyd helped me customize my car and provided honest feedback on options and did not try to oversell. Michael Stanley called me when my car arrived and walked me through an effortless car buying process, from the trade-in of my old car, to coordinating with the finance department, introducing me to the service department personnel for future service needs, making sure my auto insurance policy was transferred and finally getting me accustomed with the bells and whistles in my new car. Bud Smail Ford and its staff, Lloyd Thomas and Michael Stanley in particular made my car buying experience awesome. I highly recommend Bud Smail Ford!

I've taken my EcoSport into Smail Ford over the last couple of months to have an issue resolved regarding my seat belt notification not properly working, and twice they've failed to fix it. Not only that, but I also had to pay for a part when I was originally informed that everything would be covered under warranty and/or recall when I talked to the service manager to have the issue fixed. Now, I have a car that doesn't display the proper notifications, and I spent a couple hundred dollars for a part that didn't fix my issue. I was supposed to receive a call back from the manager after my wife and I informed him of the issue (again), but it's been over a month, and I haven't heard from him. If I didn't have a dealership warranty through Smail when I purchased the vehicle, I would go elsewhere for service.
