Needed a tow from New Stanton to Robinson. Called about 5 other tow companies and all I got were excuses. Nick's worked with me to get it towed that day. Highly recommend.

Would not recommend at all, if i could give 0 stars i would. These people are nice but they don t care, i had to have my car towed about a month ago in front of my apartment. Mind you, my street is a one way which i had notified them that it would be a one way and they said it would not be an issue at all. They get there and it takes them a little over 40 minutes to get my car onto the tow truck AFTER they tried to get my boyfriend to drive my car which couldve damaged it more since my from tire was quite literally crushed and my hood was on top of my tire. They charged me 300$ for that and told me my insurance may be able to cover some of it, my dad then called insurance the next day and insurance said they would cover half of those costs if we had a receipt. Now i called them the next day saying i needed a receipt and she said she would email it to me, a month goes by no receipt i called again and a different lady told me they would send it to my phone number, never got it through my phone number. It has now been a mo th and a half to where they told my dad they would send a receipt in the mail, they never have, i even showed up to the place, no one was there but i did talk to a lady and she again told me they would send a receipt to my phone. Absolutely outrageous this happened a month and a half ago, i still have not received a receipt.

I had a very chaotic car breakdown tonight and everyone involved was very stressed. The lady on the phone was super sweet and helpful. I can say without a doubt that Nick's towing treats you like family. I got that call that no parent wants on a Monday evening. My son was involved in a car accident. He is a student at St. Vincent College and we live 5 hours away. Some nice people stopped to help him and suggested Nick's towing. They arrived really fast and were so kind and nice. Spoke to me on the phone while also helping my son. Once the car was loaded on their truck, Nikki called me to make sure that I knew that my son was okay physically and to answer any questions. I couldn't believe she took the time to address how my wife and I were feeling 5 hours away. They called frequently to check in and really did everything that they could to help. There are not enough words to express my gratitude for Nick s towing service. I was stranded at 1 AM and my road side assistance told me they could not send help for an hour and a half. So I decided to find help on my own. When I googled 24 hour towing services in my area, I decided to call Nick s towing, and boy was I glad I did. They were there in 20 minutes to come to my rescue. Not only was Nick there, but his daughter assisted him in expertly getting my dead car onto their flatbed, while his wife kept me company in their warm truck. They were so professional, knowledgeable, and kind. They made a bad situation a thousand times better for me. They even took me home since I lived close by, So I wouldn t have to wake up my husband to come and get me. Then they drove my car safely to the dealership as promised. I hope I don t need to use a towing service again, but if I do, I will not use anybody else I will only use Nick s towing. They also have a garage and another one that they will be opening soon. I recommend that service as well because of their expert knowledge, honesty, & kindness.

Nick was an amazing guy. On a Saturday afternoon I broke down in Donegal and needed him to tow me back to Pittsburgh. He was more then happy to give me a hand a showed up in about an hour. Super friendly guy and he even gave me tips on how to get it fixed. I highly, highly recommend that you call Nick's Towing Service if you are stuck and need a tow.Service: Car towing

Nick's was unbelievably great! They were our savior. Our car died 6 hours away from home on a Sunday. They were so nice on the phone, courteous, sympathetic, and gracious. Nick's came to our hotel, confirmed that we needed a new alternator, and towed it to their shop. They charged a fair price and brought our car back to us at the hotel. Stranded on the PA Turnpike and after waiting nearly 2 hours for confirmation from a national towing hotline that they had dispatched someone and provide an ETA, I googled and found Nick's. I got a live person who knew the area, was concerned about my safety, was quickly able to pick up the car, gave me recommendations for lodging for the night, and turned waiting in the dark in hopes of help to assurance that help was on the way. The next day they quickly assessed the car, provided a thorough explanation of needed repairs, and were able to get the parts and get me back on the road before end of business. They even called while en route to make sure all was going well. Was a great experience from start to finish.

Nick is the best! When my wife and I were stranded on a Sunday night and AAA couldn't be bothered to let us talk with a human, we called Nick and had the most pleasurable towing experience you could imagine. He's a gifted conversationalist, expert of many trades, and a really sweet guy. He took extra care loading and unloading our car to keep from causing any further damage to its rear end. I hear he's also opening a pizza restaurant soon, so I can't wait to see what his hospitality looks like in that realm. Amazingly helpful and kind. We're super thankful for his help.

After over a FOUR HOUR run-around and horrible customer service from AAA, leaving me stranded on the Turnpike this past Friday night I took matters into my own hands and luckily found Nick's Towing and they turned out to be FANTASTIC!!! They handled my situation, got my vehicle towed to my garage and the price was more than reasonable. I now have them saved to my phone. My recommendation... if you live in Westmoreland County or the surrounding area, cancel your AAA membership and put Nick's Towing into your phone. They WILL DEFINATELY be there when you need them. Nicks was absolutely wonderful! Not only did they tow my vehicle they looked for a solution for my issue to make my outcome easier. I was very upset and they were so understanding. Nick was fantastic - picked us up at 2:30 in the morning after we arrived in Greensburg, PA from Texas and the front tire feel off my boyfriends truck!!! Yes, fell right off! They were 4th down on the list when I searched Google - but should have been the first! Will always call him first should anything happen to us again! They were courtoues, sympathetic to our situation and very fast! My daughter is moving here and I will have his number of the fridge for car emergencies!!! Nick s towing is the best.! My car s key fob gave up the ghost and the car was immobilized. Called Nick s and Nikki not only tried to assist me with trying to reprogram the fob before she sent out the the truck, but she calmed my nerves over having this issue in the first place. They were great..! Would totally recommend to anyone needing a tow and a friendly voice..!Service: Car towing

probably a reliable towing experience as i've seen from other reviews, but my brother went in for a repair on his fuel tank and evap lines. he authorized these repairs, which took almost a week (without being given a time estimate for over 4 days, as well as lacking an accurate cost estimate. i was in the room for most of these phone calls and they seemed very unsure of the exact cost or time for these repairs.) when he got the car back he was told his brake lines were rusty and to get them fixed, which he noticed issues with the brakes upon driving. he spent money on a new master cylinder and two new calipers (as the brake bleeder screws had been broken off) before realizing they had installed a new brake line without his authorization without telling him and without properly bleeding the brakes (as previously mentioned of the broken screws.) therefore, there was air trapped in the brake lines. when he called them to inquire about this, they said it was a "courtesy" repair, but offered to send people to bleed the brakes for him. thank you for doing this much, the gentlemen were polite and helpful. they did suggest multiple times that he stop back to replace the other rusty brake line (this time with permission, maybe?) which is obviously not happening

Just my luck, my vehicle breaks down 50 miles from home taking two teenage boys to summer camp on a Sunday AND a holiday. I called 4, 5, 6 places all to be turned away then reached Nick's Towing. I'm so thankful I did. Nikki was excellent and helped me through the process (which is new to me). Nick's towing saved my butt! My car did a thing, leaving me unable to shift out of drive or even fully turn it off, and of course, this happened at night, on a busy road. So I called Nick's and was able to get it towed to my mechanic in record time! The process was smooth, quick and pleasant, considering the circumstances. Highly recommended!Service: Car towing

Called AAA and they dispatched another towing company that didn t show up after 2 1/2 hours . I got frustrated and called Nicks and they were on site within 10 minutes . Very polite and great to deal with . If I ever need a tow truck in the future Nick s will be my first call .

I don t even know where to begin but let me start with five stars simply doesn t even begin to justify this business! I was headed to Illinois from Virginia when my van broke down, it was 7:30 p.m.!Now if you know anything about auto repair then you know for a fact that in order to find the parts you need as well as someone to paint repair your vehicle at that time of night all you need is one thing it s called a miracle! Although I knew that my chances were slim to none I had no choice but to try. So I pulled out my phone searched my location, discovered I was in a town called Youngwood, Pennsylvania and started calling every part store, auto mechanic, tow truck, and body shop in the area. As I called each place on the list one by one they turned me down, until I reached a place called Nick s towing and auto. Much like everyone else I had called they two were closed but instead of saying sorry we can t help you, but good luck , the woman on the other end asked me what was going on. I told her that I was stranded hundreds of miles away from home and needed my vehicle fixed right away. She told me that I had just missed the mechanic and that he was on his way home but she would give me a call right back. Because of all the no s I had gotten I wasn t really expecting a call back, to my surprise within two minutes she called me back. She asked me exactly where I was at and told me that she spoke with the mechanic and told him my situation and that he was turning around and would be there shortly to look at my vehicle. Once again it sounded too good to be true so I didn t really get my hopes up however within 10 minutes she pulled up along with the mechanic!! I don t know where these people came from, but only HEAVEN makes angels like this. After a long days work the owners of Nick s towing and auto actually turned their car around to come help a complete stranger, because and I quote it was the right thing to do. Now To be perfectly honest I would ve given them five stars simply for showing up when no one else would, but let me tell you when they got there he showed me the true meaning of going above and beyond. This man whom I ve never met a day in my life stood outside in the cold and freezing rain with me and my husband for over an hour and a half doing everything he possibly could to try and fix my vehicle. Unfortunately because of the time and the location we did not have the tools nor the parts to fix the vehicle but he did not let that deter him. Nick got on the phone and begin calling everyone he knew in the whole town with a shop or the capability to get my vehicle fixed that night! I was completely blown away by this year dedication and determination of this man to help a little old me a total stranger. Unfortunately absolutely everyone was unavailable to assist us that night on top of that it would be impossible to get the part until 8 AM the next morning. I went into the auto parts store to use the bathroom and when I came out Nick and Nikki were gone! I was sooo sad because I really really wanted to thank them again for EVERYTHING they had done and give them some money too for all the work he had put in. So I called Nikki and told her that I would like to give them some money, but she was absolutely insistent that it was not necessary and that they would not except it. Once again I was blown away by the kindness of these people for no reason at all, except for the fact that we were fellow human beings. By this time everything had closed and we were waiting on AAA to show up, but after an hour Still no AAA. You won t believe what happened next, a truck pulled up but it wasn t AAA, instead it was a mechanic! Would you believe that one of those many phone calls that Nick made had actually paid off! We got the van fixed and were on our way but we ll NEVER forget Nick & Nikki and how they went out of their way to help us out, they have a friend for LIFE. Please support this business, they will take GREAT care of you! And forget 5 stars, I give them a 20!!!

This business is run by exceptionally caring and professional people. I would give them 20 stars if possible. My family experienced an auto issue on a road trip to a college drop off, I called Nick's as a Hail Mary after hours and they responded with kindness, compassion, professionalism and expert service. I was blown away (and in tears of gratitude) by Nikki and her team. They went over and above to make sure that our safety was prioritized. I was in a really bad spot and they did everything short of giving me the shirt off their backs to help me out.

If you ever need towing, this IS the company to call. I have had two dissatisfying towing experiences recently through AAA. One took 9 hours before the tow truck got there (in fairness they did credit me the tow, but that's 9 hours I'll never get back). The second one the tow truck driver was sloppy in the way he got my car on and off the bed.Nick's was fantastic. They were prompt, courteous, and above all, treated my car properly. I got the call that the driver had arrived and by the time I got outside he already had my car hooked up to the truck. From pick up to delivery my car was treated with the utmost care.DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH ANY OTHER COMPANY.NICK'S DOES IT RIGHT.

My 16 year old daughter car broke down going to school at 7:15 AM and AAA said it would be 3 hours before they could get to her and I'm out of town for work. So I called Nick's Towing and they had a driver there in 15 minutes, and they were very concerned that my 16 year old daughter was safe and not stranded on the side of the road. Called Nicks to have them use the wrecker to lift a wood stove out of a basement and onto my trailer. No one else would help me. Nick came and had it done in 15 minutes. Great people and try to help everyone they can.Very pleasant all around good people.

These are good, kind, real people. They took such good care of us after a drunk driver ran my boyfriend off the road and drove away, leaving his car undriveable. Will forever recommend and be grateful for their kindness to us during such a rough time.

This is who you call for tire trouble. I had my jack break right before I could get the spare on late at night. Called 5 places and they all told me it would be 1-2 hours. These guys found me on a backroad in 30 minutes and I was back on the road two minutes afterward. Even got a follow up call from them after I got home. The staff was so friendly and cheery the whole time, it was impossible to stay mad at the situation. Never thought a towing service would get me in a good mood over a blown out tire!

Broke down on my way to work. Called Nick's and they first asked if I was in safe spot and o.k. Made it to me in 30 minutes and towed me home. Made a bad situation better with their prompt and efficient service. Call them first!!!
