I had a truly amazing experience at Next Level Tuning. Josh is very knowledgeable and he was very personable as well. I took my Audi a3 there to get stage 1 tuned and Josh got right to work. I was in and out and throughout the process he was giving me information and advice on services that were upcoming and little odds and ends things that make a difference. Overall I truly appreciated all of Josh s knowledge and I would go there a thousand times more.

I have a 2010 Audi a4 2.0t quattro that was having misfire issues. Went to 2 shops 1 close to me (lesson learned they stripped some bolt holes) and another in export which had high reviews but if they think your a sucker with money they try to make the most of it. With all that aside, Josh at NLT knows his way all around these german cars. Within the 1st hour (his general diagnostic) he called me and sent me a list of possible problems. Gave him the green light to fix what he thought was wrong with it and after alot of hard work on his end he finished her up for me. She runs awesome. He took extra time out and cleaned up my motor for me since my pcv was junk (and not for my motor, thanks previous owner) and re-sealed my new injectors and found other issues that other shops did and found things Audi never bothered to replace. Hands down the best mechanic I've found to work on your car. Hes very knowledgeable and doesn't talk to you in any type of condescending tone if you don't know alot about turbo'd cars. ( this being my first but have some knowledge from research) He doesnt beat around the bush with the problems and if he finds any other issues, he will call you and inform you of it and ask how you'd like to proceed. With other shops its like pulling teeth trying to stay updated about your car but Josh goes above and beyond to make sure you know everything thats going on. He's very trustworthy and reliable/respectful and for any future services I will be returning here without hesitation. And if this isn't enough to convince you go ahead and head up to a "reputable shop" for example "tpg" sorry guys but get with the program. Quit suckering people for their money and "fixing it" and not even coming close to the problem so they continue to go back. Wasted so much money there and will never go back. I wish more shops would be like him. But yanno what, for his sake I hope they don't and he keeps getting all of their business.

Highly recommend! Outstanding customer service. Extremely knowledgeable about VWs. Own a 2010 Jetta -that needed a genuine VW expert. Josh took pictures to explain the issues and explained (to my level) what the issues were and why we were having them. The Jetta runs much more smoothly now. This is then only place we will take from now own!Accommodated our schedules for pickup outside normal business hours. Checked in days later to see how the car was running All around exceptional experience!

I cannot express how great Josh is. My family has been a customer for years and Josh is so helpful getting us in with emergencies and planning ahead for what maintenance is needed on our cars. Took my 05 Golf to Next Level Tuning and Josh looked over it very thoroughly and informed me with pictures everything that was going on with my car. He gave me an estimated quote on how much it would be and it was just around there. You can tell he cares about YOUR safety and will express concerns. He showed me pictures of all the extra things he found when working on my car. I appreciate the hard work and dedication to making sure my car was safe and reliable for me. Trust worthy mechanic and Definitely 100% going to be back whenever i need anything else. I took my jetta gli to josh to get a stage one tune and the entire experience was incredible! My car performs so well after the tune that it feels like a brand new car. Tried to do business here multiple times to have various things done to my GTI and got pushed away every time. I think these guys may be allergic to cash money! This last time generated this review and my decision to never contact these people again. The tuner guy Josh I'm sorry buddy but you got to go back to school. When your lacking knowledge and your a tuner that's a bad combination. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a tune or even just parts upgrade to go to a different shop locally or use a reparable e tuning company. These people will tell you whatever they want to make them seem better!

If you have an Audi/VW in Western Pa, THIS is where you need to bring your car. Josh forgot more about them this morning than most mechanics ever know. He knows their quirks and tendencies. After years of taking my car to a local dealership for repairs and being unhappy with the results, I was happy to find Next Level Tuning who specializes in Audi repair. I took my older 2011 A4 to Josh and he did a thorough inspection and diagnostic on my car. He took the time to explain in detail what he felt we needed to do immediately, and what we need to look at for down the road maintenance. After his working on my car, it has better performance and runs so smoothly!! So glad I found him. Josh got me in on a Saturday to squeeze my tune in. Him and Kristen were both busy but they both took the time to at least say hello and make sure I was taken care of. Once the car was in Josh and I started talking and he gave me a list of exact parts and part numbers for supporting mods to keep everything in check on the car. They were both super helpful and it was a great experience overall. Will definitely be back for more in the future.Service: Auto engine tuning

My 1999 GTI VR6 engine was making noise and the VW dealer did not want to repair it for me. I went toJosh Volk at Next Level Tuning and he agreed to diagnose it for me. After finding the problems, it was carefully repaired and has been running beautifully. It required new timing Chains, guides and tensioners,hydraulic cam followers and camshafts. The repair was done professionally and there have been no problems at all. So far it is performing like new and I'm extremely pleased. I would definitely recommend this facility to all!!Service: Engine repair

I was having misfire codes on my Audi and I have been around to other places who did not effectively find the problem. When I brought it into Next Level Tuning, Josh went in depth and spent countless hours working on it and trying to find the problem. He was generous enough to help me out and charged me with a very fair deal. He stayed in touch consistently and did his best to help me. I recommend anyone with a Volkswagen/Audi to visit his shop. Best shop I have been to.

I went there to start my upgrades, brakes,exhaust suspention, tune. 2019 alltrack SEL. We talked at length about my plans and stages to takeTook my VIN, name & #. NEVER called back. They had 20 cars in the lot so i guess they wont or dont need my money. I wont call them back for sure

This was my first tune on my 2016 Audi. I did a lot of research before I reached out to Josh. He's very knowledgeable about tuning especially with the APR products. I had many questions and Josh answered all of them. Setting an appointment was easy and getting the tune done was seamless. Next Level Tuning is by far the best place to take your auto for any needs. Professional, courteous and affordable with lots of experience. What more can you ask for? I FEEL LIKE I HAVE A NEW CAR!

I have been taking my Audi s to Next LevelTuning for almost 8 years and I have no plans to leave. Josh is professional, knowledgeable, dependable and most importantly, honest. My service history has been as simple as routine oil changes to a new timing belt in our old A4. I highly recommend Next Level Tuning for any of your Audi or Volkswagen service needs.

I have been taking my MK6 Jetta to Josh and Kristin for a little while now and I have always had a great experience. Josh is extremely knowledgeble and is always willing to do the job the right way even if that means he has to fix someone else's mistake. My last experience with Josh was to have my headlights installed. I wasn't able to get them done that day because I needed an extra part for the install. Josh told me this upfront while I was at the shop so I didn't have to pay for the labor since it would have been done incorrectly and causes error codes. Most places I know would not have been this honestly at all. They would have installed the product knowing it was wrong and charged you twice Since I couldn't get the headlights installed I asked him if he could switch the harness in my tail light since I was having an issue getting them to work. Josh took one look at knew that the harness was no good and took it upon himself to rewire it since the company I bought it from did it wrong. He didn't have to go the extra mile especially since this was an unrelated issue to what I was there to do. He just cares that much about his customers and just wants everything to be right. Kristin is also very very helpful too. She always follows up with the customer to make sure everything was done to their liking. She is always extremely professional on the phone and will respond to your calls or emails very promptly. I honestly would not take my car anywhere but here. If you need any kind of work done to your Audi or Volkswagen I would highly recommend looking here first. Top notch work with even better customer service.

My son took his Audi to Josh and I was very impressed how honest he was. He was extremely helpful with making a decision on what to do with the car he brought to him. He was very generous with his time, I would highly reccomend him for any Audi repairs.

This was my first time ever visiting this shop and my first time having a tune installed on my Volkswagen. Had a great experience and the tune was installed within an hour. They even did a ride along with me and explained to me in detail what differences I d notice. Very helpful and informative. Highly recommend this shop for tunes and to get any work done to your car.

I called next level cause I bought a car with a tune already done. I couldn't get the car to pass inspection. Josh was great he looked over the car and got it ready for inspection. He told what I needed to do to keep it reliable. Josh showed me why and what he was doing. The estimate was really close actual cost. I will be taking my mk6 r to next level every time I need something.

Definitely recommended! Took my tiguan to next level to diagnose/repair misfiring engine. Repair was done in a timely manor and great communication throughout the process.

I just had an APR Stage 1 tune done on my VW GTI. The car now runs much faster and I am very happy with the performance boost. Josh and Kristin were great to work with, very professional and followed all of the Covid protocols to keep everyone safe. Have a VW or Audi, don't take it anywhere else! Josh is a great owner and takes the time to understand your needs and utilizes his expertise to get you what you want, and more importantly, what you need. I 1000% recommend this shop to anyone out there.

Alright, I'll start by saying everything pertaining to this business was top notch. I wasn't completely sure if I wanted to go stage 2 single pulley or the dual pulley and Josh talked to me on the phone for literally 20 minutes about the benefits of each and what to expect. I didn't feel pushed in either direction, rather that I was talking to an honest guy who knew exactly what he was talking about. They had originally told me that my car would take 2 days to complete due do them being so busy but they actually got me out the door in a day which was a pleasant surprise. The bottom line is that this shop offers above average service with someone who is personable and will go out their way to make sure you are happy and you car performs. If you are in the pittsburgh area and considering having work/tune done to your car this is who you want to do the work.

I d give 0 stars if I could. Charged me 100 for a diagnostic test and told me the cost to fix the car would be 300-1300 to fix and to give him a few days to find the best option and within ONE phone call the price to fix my car went from 1700 to 2500 he said he didn t sugar coat(I like blunt) and in between that he talked a bunch about the details of all the parts and numbers and things. But rambled on and on about them, it seemed obvious he was trying to confuse me. The first phone all he said a 2007 wasn t old... that if I brought a 92 in that d be a different story har har and how many yearrrss he s worked on VWs. Then this next call said this car is too old with too many miles.. SO I was out a 100 bucks with no help. My boyfriend took his car to European Concepts. They do the detailed diagnostic for FREE, he got a great deal, a year later, no issues. Great work. And they just fixed my car for under 800. Took pictures and it looks like new and great quality. DO NOT GO HERE. He talks it up like he knows everything to gain trust and take advantage. It s just a ruse and a marketing tactic. Thanks for wasting my time and money for nothing.

I can't say enough about Josh, Kristin and NL Tuning. They're ALWAYS there for me whenever anything is needed for my car. Josh's knowledge about VW's, Audi's, and APR is above and beyond outstanding. The only place to go if you own an Audi or VW. Top notch service performed by individuals who know how the cars work, unlike dealers that just rely on computers. Very knowledgeable in all aspects from troubleshooting to repairing to upgrading and tuning! Highly recommend!!

I've been coming to this shop for over 8 years. This is the only place to take your VW or Audi to get performance upgrades or service. Knowledgeable, professional, and they stand behind their work. Small business like mentality of treating and servicing cars like it's their own. Highly recommended.

I'm really impressed by Josh and his team at NLT. Next Level Tuning provides quality work, fair prices, and great VW knowledge and experience. Communication was reliable throughout the process and NLT guys work flexible hours allowing me to pick up my car late in the evening.
