My mom and I often come here for all our car troubles. The team is super helpful and gets things done in a timely manner. Jesse is super helpful in explaining the issues and what work is needing done. He goes out of his way and keeps us updated on the progress as well. He s extremely patient, friendly and helpful. I recommend this place to all my friends and family.Services: Tires, Brakes, Oil change

My husband and I used this place exclusively for repairs and oil changes for nearly three years. At first, it was great. We thought the pricing was fair and the service times reasonable. Then especially in the last year or so, we started noticing that scheduled oil changes for a car dropped off at 9 a.m. would take all day to do, and we were often calling at the end of the day to see if the vehicle was actually done. Two months ago I took my car in to get the transmission replaced. They said it would take about 1-2 weeks. It took five weeks for me to get my car back--and the communication about the new developments that delayed this job was extremely poor. Now, there were apparently issues with the car that took that entire five weeks to fully diagnose, and parts take time to order and be delivered. I understand that. I'm not blaming them for that. I wanted my car running properly. It bothered me a bit that each problem needed a new part with a new price tag, but they did waive the fee on the last part because of how long it was taking to diagnose my car. So I'm not even complaining much about the increased price of the job--because it was more than initially estimated, but not alarmingly so.What mostly bothered me was I turned my car in... then would hear nothing for a week or two, and have the follow-up myself.I was told my car would be in the shop for a week while they waited for parts to come in and the transmission to be assembled. Ten days later I'm the one calling, asking where my car is. Then, when another part needed ordered that would take "a couple of days to get here," I waited two weeks before calling again, asking if the aprt had come in and was my car ready to take home? Then, I was told numerous times that my car would "probably be done" by that afternoon, or the next business day... only to wait, still receive no call, and have to be the one to call to ask for an update. I wasn't bombarding them with calls... but the lack of timely updates and the lack of initiative to update me was extremely frustrating. I think I called four times before finally getting frustrated over the phone when I found out that a "We'll be done with your car by Friday afternoon" turned into yet another "We still can't figure out the issue and we're going to be holding onto your car for yet another weekend." There was only one time that AAMCO called me before I called them with a timely status update. But the main reason I will not be going back to AAMCO Greensburg is the condition the interior of my car was in when I finally picked it up after five weeks. Admittedly, my car needs vaccummed... but everything else is generaly kept clean and in good order. But when I finally got into the driver seat after five weeks, I found grease on the center console and transmission fluid on the driver seatbelt that had definitely not been there before. When I came back in and asked Jesse to clean it up, he barely apologized-- but did take my car back to the garage to clean the grease. Five minutes later, the grease was gone... but the transmission fluid stain, wasn'teven touched. I was just so sick of not having a car or dealing with the lackadaisical attitude that I didn't press the point and left.Attached to this review are the photos I took of the grease and the transmission fluid.

My transmission went out in my ford focus. AAMCO transmissions were able to get me in and fix it in the same week. My car now runs better than it did when I bought the car. 100% recommend this garage for transmission work.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

My Jeep is my only means of transportation. Aamco was able to schedule me days before any other competitors were willing to do. They were able to fix my problem and for a very fair price. I will be going back to this Aamco for any issues I have for the foreseeable future! 10/10

I love this place! They are always fast and friendly. Jesse works up front and he is by far the best example of everything someone should be in customer service. He is friendly, honest, has a great attitude and is always smiling and ready to help. Aamco needs more like employees like Jesse!

Had to get a transmission replaced in my daughters car at the greensburg location and they went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied when we were done. It was done in a very timely manner and the car runs perfectly. The transmission has a warranty which is always a plus. The guys were extremely helpful and stayed true to what they had quoted the job for which means alot these days finding people who keep their word. Anyways great job guys!!Service: Transmission

I just recently took my SUV into AAMCO for a Transmission, Tiger was very helpful, upfront, and honest. I took my vehicle to them on Sunday, was super easy to use the drop key. The next day before Noon they had my issue diagnosed and gave me 3 options to choose from. Now no one likes repairing cars. Neither do I, but AAMCO Greensburg made it really easy to make the choice. We went with a New re-manufactured transmission with 3 Year 100,00 mile Warranty. We felt that was the best bang for our buck, and the Warranty is always nice, especially on older vehicle like mine. Tiger and the Crew at AAMCO had everything done in just 4 days. They did a fantastic Job. I like the fact they request you to come back in in 2 weeks to look over things and make sure all is working well after being used. Its been a month now and my vehicle is performing really well. I have just over 1,000 miles on the new Transmission and its running great. Few days later I needed to get my wifes Car inspected and they got me that afternoon. The group at AAMCO did a fantastic job and I would recommend them to anyone. Good People, Good Service. Was glad I made the choice to go there. No regrets at all.

Tiger is the man! Always informative, helpful, and kind. Best deals anywhere around, because I use to always shop around first, and now I know I dont have to. Never try to RIP you off, sometimes does little fixes for free. Always honest, I came in with a leak, they dis multiple tests, etc and couldn't find it. I didn't pay anything, then it happened again later and they ended up finding the problem and I had the work done. They care and do a wonderful job keeping both my cars running. As far as I know the only thing they dont do is body work and alignments!!!!

This was my third trip to Aamco Greensburg and they just keep getting more satisfying! First time I had a failed transfer case and I was surprised when I picked it up & the bill was $600 under the quote. Who does that? The second time they spent their spare time over a 2 day period troubleshooting a problem and it was a no charge fix! And now, I needed an inspection & emissions test, parts weren't available but they worked with me to minimize the impact and pretty much stuck to their quote!Great bunch in my opinion. Especially the fellow at the counter. His name was Tiger. He really went the extra mile to help me out. It makes the lousy luck you have at some places worthwhile when you work with a bunch of Pros! Double A, Em See Oh! Ha! Thanks!

They left our keys (and another set) sitting at the front with absolutely no one in sight. My husband waited 10 minutes before walking back to try to find someone to check out because no one would acknowledge him, even with mechanics walking right past him. Our car could have very easily been stolen, as could the other set of keys.

If I could rate this place with zero stars I would!! In July of 2019 My Ford Explorer had A 100% Transmission rebuild for $2500.00., With A 18 month warranty or 18,000 miles. Fast forward to February of 2022...I started having issues with the Transmission.I took it to my regular mechanic and he diagnosed it with my issues being the transmission and advised to take it Back to Aamco where they did the transmission. Now I understand my 18 months was up...BUT it had only been driven a lil over 10,000 miles!! So after some "TESTING" their conclusion was that I needed ANOTHER Transmission and would install one for $3,500.00. Are you Serious??!!! The last one you did only lasted 10,000 Miles!! J....acknowledged the fact that they were responsible for the issues BUT his response was "That employee no longer works here so theirs nothing we can do! " So you're telling me Aamco backs their employee and not the company itself?!! Didn't make much Sense to me. He also acknowledged the fact that I wasn't the only unhappy customer to come back with issues from previous work! And he understood my frustration...You have no idea how frustrated I am!! So Now I owe $282.00 for this diagnosis!! So I wait another 20 minutes for them to take my truck off the rack and let me leave ONLY To find out it wasn't DRIVEABLE!! LIKE HOW?!! I DROVE IT THERE AND NOW I CAN'T MAKE IT HOME! I HAD TO CALL A TOW TRUCK TO HAVE MY TRUCK REMOVED FROM THE PROPERTY! YET ANOTHER EXPENSE!! Their response " Well we didn't do ANYTHING!! YES, YOU ARE RIGHT...YOU DIDN'T DO ANYTHING CORRECTLY! I WILL TAKE THE NECESSARY ACTION AGAINST THIS POOR EXCUSE FOR A BUISNESS!Service: Transmission

I have needed my taillight changed which is a small thing, but I couldn't do it myself. I had gone to so many other places and everyone was rude and overcharging me. AAMCO was so great! They were nice, welcoming, accommodating, and so fast! I will definitely go there again.

I took my car here to get a new clutch and it took them about 2 days to do it. They called me in to pick it up and they had broke my hydraulic hoses. It took them about a week and a half to fix those. Then they gave me it back and a day later i wasnt able to shift it into first and the car broke down. I took it back and they fixed it again for about 330 dollars lol. Its just a mess.

Aamco transmission in Greensburg, PA is one of the worst businesses you could ever allow to work on your vehicle. I have a 2005 Ford Ranger and the transmission went out in August. The overdrive light was flashing, and upon hooking up a code scanner, it was found to be throwing 4 codes within the transmission, so I had the truck towed from Bridgeport, WV to their shop on August 14th. Their diagnosis was to perform a full rebuild on the transmission. I picked up the truck on August 27th and noticed that the truck was shifting roughly still and that the truck now had an exhaust leak. The next day I contacted them and was told by the mechanic, Tiger, that my truck arrived that way with a leaking exhaust. Roughly a week later the Overdrive light began flashing again and after hooking up a code scanner, I found that the truck was throwing one of the same codes it originally had before the rebuild. I had to miss a day of work to bring the truck back up to the shop, and they said my transmission needed an output shaft speed sensor, but they weren't able to replace it that day due to a wiring harness that was broken. So again, I took off another day of work to bring it up to their shop. They replaced the sensor along with the wiring harness, but the truck was still shifting terribly afterwards. On September 26th, I was on my way to work when the transmission lost all power and went out again. It was throwing 3 of the same codes once again. I hauled the truck back up again to their shop that same day and explained the issue and the employees were very hostile towards us. Within 20 minutes they were able to determine the transmission needed the sprag clutch replaced, and that it would be ready the next day and they would contact me when it was ready. I called the next day at noon to check on the progress, and was told that the part had just came in, and they would call me later that afternoon. It was roughly 3 PM when I called again, to let them know if it was ready, I would have to leave now in order to make it there before they closed. I was told yes, the transmission was fixed and they needed another half hour to test drive it. I received a phone call five minutes before closing time at 5 from Tiger, and was told that the transmission needed yetanother solenoid replaced and it would be ready the next day.I waited around the next day and finally called around 1 PM to check on the progress. Tiger answered and immediately directed me to the manager. He was very hesitant to talk to me, and admitted to me that after replacing the sprag clutch and putting the transmission back in, they started the truckand the motor locked up, and needed replaced. He stated that he did not want to take any further action until he got in contact with me, but he never reached out to me to tell me. I knew it was very odd because the motor was just serviced 3 days prior and I have never had an issue at all out of it. After realizing that the mechanic had lied about needing another solenoid, I told them to not touch the truck anymore and I would come pick it up. They refused to accept any responsibility for the motor. So today, on October 14th, I was finally able to come get my truck. I discovered that my battery was disconnected, and the transmission was now leaking a great amount of fluid. I turned the key and also found out that the motor will turn over, but the truck won't start, so it wasn't locked up, but something has been messed with in order for the truck to not start.I've came to the conclusion that they were tired of working on the truck because all the transmission work was under warranty.I've been more than patient with this business but I will never return back to them again. They have cost me so much time and money in order to get my truck running again, but it still isn't. By far the worst running business I've ever encountered.

Very impressed with their professionalism! Rich was very helpful in finding a solution to my transmission issue.. my mercedes is running like its brand new, transmission fluid is good for 40k miles and gear box is smooth shifting with no clicking or jumping.. Saved a huge amount of money by not going to mercedes for service.. I highly recommend this shop for your mercedes if you transmission is acting up on your mercedes!

on March 28, 2016 I brought me car to AAMCO under the belief that my car was experiencing transmission trouble. I had taken the vehicle to another store but they were unable to give me a true answer and all they did was postulate on what the issue could have been. after searching I came across AAMCO Transmissions, who took in my vehicle immediately (there was no wait) and began to diagnose my vehicle. Unlike the last store, they were able to identify my problems within 10 to 20 minuets and rather than having transmission troubles, they discovered that my car was misfiring. I cannot say enough about the quality of the work performed on my vehicle for the price nor on the outstanding customer service I received. All I can say is that if you are in need of work done on your car and you want an honest team working on it then AAMCO is the place to go. just be sure that you have all your bases covered when it comes to payment, at the present time they do not take checks but are more than willing to take money orders in place of them for the time being. I hope this review was helpful and good luck to all out there who are experiencing difficulties.

Sorry to hear of your displeasure with our service here at Aamco of Greensburg Mr. Diop. However, the leak that was repaired on your vehicle was in fact not leaking again and developed a different leak from the transmission you supplied. We are a very honest company and I suggested you come down and I would show you personally the repairs we made and where your vehicle was now leaking, if you thought we were being dishonest. You refused to do so. Our warranty only covers repairs made to your vehicle by us and does not cover any further leaks or faults your vehicle develops in the future. Once again I would extend my hand to you and offer that you bring your vehicle in and I will personally walk you through the new leak that has developed. It doesn't get anymore honest than that sir.

I was hired to work for them in summer 2018.before i started work, i witnessed assistant manager spray painting existing exhaust manifolds with silver paint and reinstalling them on customers vehicle. After questioning, he stated he wasnt going to modify invoice to reflect his inability to retrieve new parts and resell them to the customer anyway. During my walk around, i have observed several more disasterous and dangerous activity including several lifts that are not maintained and require immediate attention. With my extensive background in safety, management, and professional licensing and certifications, I cannot allow endorsement of this shop or its employees to promote healthy environment to the customers and the community. Without working for them, they fraudulently manipulate paperwork, and have public records that show their employees harrass and assault others in their parking lot. Absolute business nightmare.

This is the last place you want to have your car serviced, they are very deceptive and always use technicalities and lies to NOT honor warranties on previous workafter fixing a leak on my car and assuring me that it will stop the leak and i had 1 year warranty it start leaking again not even after a month and the technician argued that the leak now was coming from somewhere else and use all technicalities just not to honor the warranty and fix the leak . there are better places there for transmission work i am confident that will be more honest and do better business than this placedefinitely the LAST PLACE TO TAKE YOUR CAR TO

Had to take the Car back a few times for a Transmission replacement. Missed that flywheel was damaged after replacing transmission. Had to take back to get flywheel replaced. Then had to take back again because vehicle was making loud noise and had not power so they then replaced power converter. Then finally car did not steer properly and took the Car back to Nissan to discover they forgot to put on control arm bolt when replacing the transmission. Although I will say that the Owner of the Business did make things right for me and my family. My situation may not be the normal.

Took my 2006 acura TL to aamco when it was having transmission trouble. Tiger was extremely friendly and helpful. I received a diagnosis the very next morning. Even though I ultimately decided not to fix the car, aamco provided me with great customer service!

Actually really disappointed, i broke down in ohio. Went to aamco in ohio. They were one of only places close. They replaced a drive axle. Damaging my ball joint. They sent me on the road with a bad ball joint. I got back to greensburg area. To notice it damaged. So i went to aamco in greensburg. They said they are seperste owners but they would talk to the other location and get it handled. They took my car back. Replaced the boot instead of the ball joint. Slapped it together and called it good. And still paid a decent chunk. And now i have the car tore apart see all the shotty work they did. Would not reccomend them to do a thing
